Great location near train from airport and a short walk to the historic centre. Its also a bit away from the hustle and bustle. staff lovely and really helpful. Bed really uncomfortable. Breakfast good too.

Perfect for a long weekend break, NH Palermo was the ideal base for exploring the city. Only a 5 minute walk from the port and less than 10 minutes from the centre of the old town, the major sites are practically on it's doorstep. Despite the comments from some other reviews, we had no difficulty in finding on-street parking immediately in front of the hotel. The pool was a fantastic bonus during a warm city break. Breakfast was fab and we also ate in the restaurant one evening. Whilst the menu was limited, the food, and service, were superb. We would definitely stay again!

Staff were not very friendly at reception or the restaurant and pool bar . A long wait having to queue up for a drink at the pool bar and no pool service ! Restaurant was very slow service in the evenings. Very short staffed !

I stayed at this hotel because it was on the itinerary for EF Tours. I arrived four days before the beginning date of the tour. I asked for a decent room since I was going to spend one week at this hotel, and I was given a room the pool courtyard. At 4 o’clock every day they have a DJ at the pool blasting music that is so loud inside the room that is terribly annoying. I spoke to the front desk and asked him if they could. Please decrease the volume. They told me they would see what they could do but for the next six days, nothing changed. I should be able to stay in my with peace and quiet, and that was not possible. There are very few restaurants near the hotel so basically the restaurant within the hotel is the easiest choice but the menu is a limited to two or three items, and it does not change on a daily basis. It’s basically a soup and one choice. The worst evening was linguine with botarga . I enjoy seafood, but the botarga was so overwhelmingly fishy that it was in edible. The other choice was a watery vegetable soup that was flavorless. they were apologetic and offered to order pizza for me, but at this point it was late and I was exhausted and wanted to go to bed. The breakfast is hit or miss. The scrambled eggs this morning were completely raw and uncooked. When I asked for more eggs to be made, they were surly and not happy. I had an early excursion And just had pastries.

About 15 min walk from the old town. Friendly staff at front desk and at breakfast. DJ with loud music in the pool area starting round 17.00hr is not so nice. Comfortable rooms and enough space in the bathroom.

The room was spacious and clean and the bed was very comfortable. The pool was better than expected, the photos didn't do it justice, it was so welcome after a hot day exploring and great that the bar was right there for a wee apéritif. The staff were all friendly. We would def stay in another NH hotel again on another hotel!

Not well maintained property. Some bathrooms and rooms are SUPER SUPER old. There is a major sewage problem/smell in the hotel. We suffered from the terrible smell. It wasn't a light smell but as if you were fully in the sewer. When you go down both side streets there is bad news. First night we saw prostitution on one side and then on the other side street it was sad to see migrants sleeping on the street. In general, Palermo is one of the dirtiest and least maintained cities i have ever experienced. I would stick to staying in Taormina or Cefalu if you want to come up this way.

The location for this hotel is great for a short stay in Palermo .. close enough to both the port and the city for all the sights. What was very disappointing and we hadn’t been made aware of was the pool area was closed due to the pool being updated with a new tile band. There are no other areas for lying out at the hotel and the hotel reception were not apologetic when we asked about it. The cleaning around the hotel is a little lax. Rubbish, glasses and a water bottle was left by the pool area for the 3 days we were there. The staircase to the first floor was definitely not mopped down or swept either. The same 6 black sticky spots on the first 6 stairs were there for the duration too. The bedroom was nice but again floors were not washed and the bathroom cleaning was a bit haphazard.

Dinner Menu. Just for tourists, should be nice to have a Pizza/Sandwich/Hamburguers. After you enjoy the City, you need to come back to the hotel and have an easy dinner. After Sunset, have a car or use the taxis. The area is dark and full of homeless. Nothing happened... but you don't feel safe walking by.

Hotel location was in front of the sea but Super noisy, alot of Homeless around and the area is very dirty. The hotel itself has security people Wich helps feeling more safe. The hotel is pretty old and many groups using it.
