The stay was, OK. Right by the water and very close to the Secaucus Junction so it was easy to keep using Uber/Lyft to back and forth to get to NYC. The room was alright, nothing special. Bathroom is small, but I liked that the sink/counter was separate from the actual bathroom. We had to keep getting our key card re-magnetized (and yes I kept it away from phones), and we had to keep asking housekeeping for stuff like more towels, cloths, tissue paper... And they weren't always friendly when we had to ask for anything. It was also hard to find someone sometimes. The room phone did NOT work. There was one guy that was friendly from housekeeping, shout-out to Robert!!

Sheets with yellow spots, hairs on the floor and in the bath tube. Check in needed 30 minutes bc of slow computer. Paid for better pillows. No idea how regular pillows look like.

Red roof charges for early check in but housekeeping banged on my door before the 11 am check out and the sign was posted outside. Guests get from 3 - 11 which is a reduced day already Guests should get a credit for early check out

Kind of a older hotel but it was fine for what we needed. Location was close enough to the American Dream Mall and to NY. Staff was nice and friendly but we only asked for towels once so didn't need too much from them. It's a decent hotel if you just need a place to crash.

The staff member during check in was great however the place is not clean what so ever. Upon arriving to my room, it smell terribly, like mildew. The floor was wet and there was a dead fly in the bed.I noticed my room didn’t have a microwave or refrigerator either. Due to the smell I turned on the AC, hoping it would bring in fresh air but no, it made it worse. The AC ended up leaking and wetting the floor (probably the cause for the mildew smell). I called the front desk to inform them of the situation and they advised me that they didn’t have a maintenance mechanic or housekeeping. The best she could do is provide me with some towels. I then woke up in the middle of the night and noticed a few insects crawling the floor. I personally would not recommend this place. Although it’s in a good location, close to restaurants, and activities, save yourself the headache and try to find another location.

It looks like tenants who are kicked out are set up in hallways. Coffe bar is a joke, out of sugar. Rooms and halls dirty, hair in shower and on bedding. Property out dated. Pillows are hard cemete bricks. There was 4 of us in room and only 2 towels and it was a struggle to get 2 extra. This is the worse hotel i have ever stayed at. No wifi, i could go on and on honestly.

This is not a hotel, it’s a motel. Only difference is they put 2 towels in the room and they don’t clean everyday, they say it’s every 3 days only. People live in this motel and they are noises all day and night long (2 am included with their children playing outside your door!!!) only thing is that the hotel is close to a bus route taking you to anywhere you want to go , otherwise, it’s pretty poor.

Cute little hotel, simple and convenient. The theee ladies we met at the front desk during our stay were very nice and also helped us a lot with all of our questions. Our check in and check out were quick and simple and the price was one of the best prices in the area. We enjoyed our stay! There is a nice view outside at the back of the hotel. You can go sit on benches in front of the water and there is a lovely gazebo with a large table. Only downside was that the ice machine was broken and the closest elevator to the reception was also out of order. However there are others so you just have to walk a bit to the other one. We will return in the future if we ever go back to New York or New Jersey!
