Quality going down and not worth to the cost

The concierge was particularly helpful with our queries and check in staff efficient.
We ate regularly at the buffet for breakfast and dinner and always had a good meal.
We dined at the Metropolitan twice, the first time the staff were attentive but the second time the service was very slow.

Great staff, nice room and quiet which is important fir me

Great staff, great place
4.2
High quality service hotel in Shinjuku - very convenient location - especially the executive breakfast at 37th floor was excellent.
4.2
The consistency of a comfortable stay away from home.
4.2
Excellent property with good fitness center and breakfast. Executive suite rooms are spacious.
4.2
Best place to stay in this area. Very peaceful and clean. I’ll stay here again.
4.2
It is very convenient to go everywhere.

Very clean and staff are super helpful. Good location and close to train station

I was here a decade ago on business and I left impressed. Fast forward to 2024 I'm visiting with my family, and I find the value proposition here severely lacking. Perhaps hospitality management in the rest of the world has caught up, and many far surpassed this particular establishment. Overall I felt the room is old, tired, and quite confined. Design is dated. Sound proofing is weak. Not as clean as I remembered. All would've been acceptable had the price matched its current state. Not likely to stay here again given numerous options available elsewhere.

The Hilton Tokyo was the last stop on our honeymoon and we were blown away! The service was exceptional and the executive lounge and suite we had were phenomenal. The view of Mt Fuji was enough to make it the most magical end of a trip. The staff were so accomodating and made sure we were well looked after from the moment we stepped foot onto the property until we checked out. We will definitely be back to stay as we were so impressed with everything the Hilton Tokyo has to offer.

Great location (near train station and a nice park).

Walls are quite thin so can hear people in hallways and in their rooms. On the 31st floor can hear rhythmic sounds through vent throughout day and night - - sounds like either a washing machine or dishwasher. Quite annoying. Other than that, breakfast was good and beds were very comfortable. The welcome gift was a nice touch. Great view from 31st floor.

My third time here and it’s a class act.

Amazing stay with amazing service the hotel has a resort feel
4.2
Nice room and easy get around from this location. Great breakfast. Restaurant was ok. Staff was great. Strange that there are no robes in the room and generally limited in room amenities. Pictures show Nespresso machine in room, but there was not one.
4.2
From the reception to the restaurants the service is superb. The staff was very helpful, polite and friendly.
Also the lunch buffet was really good.
Thank you very much!

I booked a 'junior suite' this is in fact more the size of a normal room, a suite should have a bedroom and a living room as a minimum otherwise it is not a suite.
The bathroom was tiny, i could not open the shower door unless the main door was open, water pressure was low. Shampoo and shower gel are issued from wall dispensers !
Our room must have been next to a utility room as the constant noise of laundry machines was very annoying.
Lounge cocktail choices are very limited and repeated ad nauseum.
In room internet is not included in room price, beware.
Limited tv channels, no Netflix.

Very lovely hotel and conveniently located.

I am a Diamond Member at Hilton and Gold member with Expedia ! Sometime we forgot which site to book for our trips and I am sure it happened to a lot of you !
Regardless which site you use ! I believe the company staff ( some are so stuck up to the policy )that they don't realize or respect how important a return customer! Thankfully, they have other staff ( especially at front desk and her name is Ada ) who safe the day by getting what I was requesting! ( which was 1 hour of extension of my late check out ) !
To Hilton : if it wasn't Ada ! I will not stay at your hotel again although I am a diamond member at your hotel chain !

Hotel is so nice we decided to stay 2 extra night, excellent breakfast and facilities

It's a fairly busy hotel. As soon as you walk in the lobby it is filled with guests either checking in/out, lining up for coffee or lining up for the restaurant. The staff were very friendly and accommodating.
Our room was very spacious and clean.
The bathroom was nice but does not have a fan, so it gets pretty foggy in there after showering. The bathtub glass barrier is very deceiving, it's actually is a door that swings out. One can actually fall out not knowing this. Doesn't serve its purpose the water still spills out onto the floor when you shower since it is only not even a half barrier. Other than that it's a very nice hotel with wonderful amenities, gym, swimming poot & tennis court which I had fun using. Walkable to a lot of restaurants and shopping. Easily access to subway as well.
4.2
It is walkable to several subway stations. The hotel also has a free shuttle bus to Shibuya Station a transport hub and los of eateries nearby.

Shuttle bus to Shinjuku station made a big differenc

Service is terrible

Wonderful hotel
4.2
The hotel was extremely busy. Had lots of older cruise patrons staying at the hotel. This made the breakfast queue very long every day we were there. Also the lobby was completely packed a lot of the day. Lots of airline crew stay at the hotel also.
The rooms are nothing special, the hotel running on its name more than its value for money.
Staff very accommodating and the access to nearby Shinjuku very easy. Close by subway stations make for easy access to anywhere you want to go. But If you are looking to stay in the middle of Shinjuku nightlife this is not for you as it located about a kilometre from the Godzilla hotel.

everything is very good

The front-line manager was very helpful as I lost my wallet on arrival. I wasn't sure it was okay to mention her name but she was very accommodating!

Very clean, friendly staff, easy access to subway, free shuttle to Shinjuku station and a great breakfast to start your day off on the right foot.

Convenience to access tennis court and spa

This hotel had terrible air quality in the room. I was sick the entire time there. Housekeeping hardly change the sheets or even dusted the room. I asked for a humidifier which made my sickness even worse. They claimed it’s because the hotel is very old and no ventilation. There were several others i spoke to that had similar complaints. If they know the problem then why haven’t they looked into a solution? I did not enjoy my stay or my vacation. I will not be going back to this hotel.
4.2
Staffs are friendly, the breakfast is delicious, room has best view of Fuji mountain.
4.2
Hilton Tokyo is connected to the Nishi Shinjuku metro station (through Hiltopia) which makes it extremely convenient. The staff are professional and very courteous. If you can, attend their delicious breakfast buffet. Just be careful not to overeat.
