They were totally ready for all the Swiftie fans with events and a lovely welcome package… a pleasant surprise.

My only complaint is that we had no heat in our room. The hotel had offered to bring us a space heater but I was not comfortable with that and we all were exhausted from returning late from a local event and ended up under some extra blankets.

What a perfect location for everything we were there to do; shop, ea, and see Eras. The hotel was beautifully decorated, decked out for fans, made extra accommodations to be quick with service in the restaurant, lots of useful information starting at the front door, and made checking in and out efficient. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat!

Wonderful place in the heart of Vancouver especially before Christmas. The decorations are spectacular.

My second time staying at this hotel. This time with girlfriends.
Great location and decor is nice.
The beds are a little too firm for me, but still a great night.
Enjoyed happy hour at the Boulevard restaurant.

VERY CENTRAL LOCATION. CANNOT FAULT ANYTHING. BUFFET BREAKFAST WAS EXCELLENT. CLEAN COMFORTABLE AND SPACIOUS ROOMS. WELL EQUIPED GYM, NICE POOL AND JACUZZI

Have stayed at the Sutton many times. It's always good. We drove with an EV and had an easy time charging since they added more chargers. Parking always easy despite downtown Vancouver.
Location is perfect for walking, only a tad hard to get in/out via car.
Probably the only bad thing there is the ventilation can be rather loud depending on the room. Never enough to affect sleep though.
Oh, and the pastries at Boulevard are REALLY good. Like the rest of the food is good, but kinda pricey. The pastries are worth.

Our stay at the Sutton Place Hotel was great. The staff are all very welcoming and accommodating with any requests. Housekeeping did a fantastic job at maintaining the rooms during our stay. Overall, great experience for our business trip and would definitely recommend it to everyone.

Excellent hotel. Quiet and comfortable. Staff were attentive and efficient. Breakfast in the restaurant (Eggs Benedict, espresso coffee and orange juice) was disappointing and expensive, but that is normal in hotels. Stay here, but do yourself a favour and walk to a real cafe for breakfast.

Spent a quick weekend getaway in Vancouver. This was a beautiful hotel with a perfect location central to shopping and good restaurants. The weight staff were incredibly helpful - beautiful hotel!

Always a pleasure to stay at the Sutton Vancouver. Though the shower drain was in need of unclogging. It was clear by the time we got back after the days activities. The prompt service was appreciated.

Always love the location. Close to many things .
Room was outfitted nicely but dusty on top shelf where the safe was ( also an awkward spot to get to )
Staff are professional but friendly

The property was nice. I did not get the upgrade as promised. I was disappointed in the lack of commitment from the hotel. Otherwise good place to stay.

I’ve stayed at The Sutton Place Hotel every time I’ve been in Vancouver for the last five or six years and have always loved it. However, in the last couple years they’ve been working through renovations that now mean there are no bathtubs available at all, which is a key element in a relaxing vacation for me. Also, on recent trips, my Gold status with Expedia has ensured me a room upgrade. When I arrived this time, the demeanor of the front desk clerk was unwelcoming and condescending, especially for someone who frequents the hotel. There was no upgrade. There are also no longer fridges available, but rather mini-bars with warnings not to utilize them for personal items. It has always been a relatively upscale hotel. The renovations did not make it more upscale, only somewhat more modern, but in exchange we lost so many creature comforts, which mean more to me than elegance or extravagance. It all depends on your personal priorities, of course, but I will be trying a different establishment next trip.

Upon the arrival the hotel is beautiful. It is in an area walkable to everything. I knew it was an older hotel, so I expected character, some things to be outdated but kept up. Most of the staff were very pleasant. However, our first night there our toilet did not flush, did get fixed but an inconvenience. This should have been checked prior to our arrival. The shower had SOO much mold. SO much, quite disgusting. Housekeeping was very inconsistent. Every night that we returned to our room not everything that we used, or were out of was replaced. I constantly had to call down for things at past 11pm. Lastly, on the morning of check-out, we had one place we wanted to go for breakfast. So, my sister checked out and left our bags with the hotel. We came back grabbed our things and upon driving to the airport she pulled her (very expensive) sunglasses out and they were broken! All of that being said, the good did not outweigh the bad. I wouldn't stay here. And I don't consider this a 4 or 5 star hotel.

A beautiful hotel that caters to all different types of travellers. Checking in and out was very easy and being a pet friendly hotel is what helped me decide where I was going to stay downtown.

The Sutton Place is a really nice hotel conveniently located near multiple dining options. The beds were really comfortable, and the shower was nice and big. We stayed at this hotel because it is one of the hotels where you could check in with the Rocky Mountaineer and be picked up for the train service in the morning. It was a great choice for us to stay at Sutton Place.

We stayed at the Sutton Place Hotel at the end of our train journey. The front desk was a mess when everyone arrived from the train. It was as if they'd not handled it before. They did attempt to catch up, put more staff at the front desk after awhile. They did give us an upgrade to a huge suite that included a kitchen and living area. That came in very handy. The hotel is close to a decent grocery store, so we were able to make us some eggs for dinner and relax. There is a gym and hot tub, but we were only there for overnight, so I can't speak to those amenities. We didn't have a view, but I didn't ask for one. The bed was VERY comfortable, and it was clean. It's a short walk to the skytram to go back to the airport.
I'd stay there again if the price was right.
