Didn’t stay- the room smelled like horrible mildew and the room was cold and damp. Went to another hotel to stay.

Spacious room, fairly basic but clean and comfortable. Close to West point.

Everything was fine except a definite lack of hot water for showers. Other than that it was fine.

What I would expect in a rural area. satisfied

The room was fine. No frills. We could hear people coming and going from the walkway outside the door. There was little to no water pressure in the shower, but the water was hot.

I’ve stayed here several times because it’s the most economical place in close proximity to West Point. Although the check in staff is nice enough, this is the second time I was not able to get a hot shower. Seems like it’s set to a temp that is just bearable enough for a quick rinse. The room was dim and the bathroom door didn’t latch at all. The beds were comfy but not being able to get a hot shower after being put in the cold all day is disappointing

Room was rough and dirty, bathroom had rust and grime along sink and shower, if wasn’t so late at night when we got in to town for a funeral the next morning we would have gone elsewhere

The outside of this facility is in need of a major renovation and improvements and at first glance appears to be a poor location to stay at. However, once you get into your room, you’re more than pleasantly surprised because of how clean it is, and it appears that all the money for the improvements so far of this facility have gone into the rooms first which is a good thing.

Close to West Point. No frills hotel. Rooms are a little “dated” but clean and comfortable beds.

No breakfast, no tissues, room smelled

The staff was very friendly and polite. The beds were super comfortable. Unfortunately, they are trying to update a hotel that perhaps was not maintained for a long time. When you pull in you’re not even sure it is open. The property has lots of potential if they can restore it to its former glory.

Looks like it was last renovated in the 80’s. Window had no lock, a stick was in Tracy for security.TV had vertical lines running up and down it. Every time someone used water the pipes banged. The AC unit made so much noise it was impossible to sleep.

The front office guys were super nice and helpful. The room was clean and I felt safe. It was close to USMA and Main Street where I went for coffee every morning!!
The rooms could probably use an update but all I did was get ready and sleep there so it is what it is!! I will be staying there for graduation!! All I wanted was clean, close and safe it is all that!!😊

We spent two night while visiting our cadet at West Point. It’s a convenient location, minutes from base. Beds are comfortable and there is a small fridge and microwave. Iron and iron board too. No frills motel hence more economical . We are only there to sleep.

Nice size rooms, close to West Point.

Old buildings. Gravel parking lot

The front desk people were very nice….very friendly, but that was the only good thing. The property and room were terrible, nothing like the pictures. Beds were uncomfortable, shower was terrible, room was old and in poor condition. Everything was cheap. There are zero amenities…..none. Parking lot was all torn up and the door to the room didn’t work properly.

Thought it was a good idea because of the photos but when we got there it was very run down and as my kids put it. It was creepy and smelled very bad. We had to leave.

Quiet, clean, easy walk across the street to convenience station. Was going to stay 1 night, decided to stay 2.

Something was spilled inside the fridge before and nobody bothered to clean it up. Overall, not a good place to stay for the price they charge.

The FairBridge Inn is a short drive from downtown and West Point, though not walking distance. It's a great place to stay when visiting the garrison. It's not fancy, but the service is great, parking is easy and well-lit, and the staff were attentive esspecially when the city's power went out.

It was horrible. There were bugs in our room and the room looked like it was built in 1910. The furniture was old and dirty. The front door opened to the outside and it’s called Inn and Suites. I left within an hour and asked for a refund. THERE WERE BUGS IN THE ROOM!! I called the front desk and told him this and he said so don’t believe you. I will NEVER stay at the roach Motel again!

The place is a dump. I paid for two nights but left because the room was so bad. There were stains, rust, the door chain was missing, very dirty floors. Three different kinds of flooring across the room.

Nice location close to West Point

Property manager was really friendly and helpful however the images online are misleading and the property is pretty old and has really only the bare minimum. However very convenient and near West Point.

Yikes! This property needs updating. There were four different kinds of flooring in our double queen room. They did update the shower head and tub walls but everything else was very outdated and not in good condition (rusty). I would not stay here again unless I had no other options. There was a gap under the door so we had a few ants/bugs in our room. Overall it seemed clean but the initial appearance of things was disappointing.

Worst place we ever stayed away from home. Old furnitures and the headboard was made of rough wooden board. Definitely would not recommend it

I never checked into this hotel in highland falls New York my son and I where attending the tour for Westpoint army because my son will be attending their next year ,we where staying one night at the Thayer hotel and secured another night at this awful cadet hotel just in case we couldn’t get to our flight on time . As a courtesy on my end , I called 1 hours before check in to let him know I may or may not be checking in upon flight time change, my son and I went back to the Thayer hotel because we had checked out at 0600 to grab the shuttle provided thru Westpoint at the buffalo soldier field to start the candidate and parent tour from 0700-0100 hours . With that being said from 2-6 pm we stayed in the lobby while waiting for our driver to take us to the airport ! When I called back this hotel and even the manager of Thayer hotel to notify the manager of this FairBridge INN maintenance is who was answering the phones from 3:30-5:30 pm Bruce’s the manager had an emergency is what we where told! And I who had reservations the night before as a pre-caution , was tying to notify the hotel that we are not checking. In to cancel our reservations , maintenance is not capable of doing a manager or front staffs job , even the manager of the Thayer hotel called for us .and got no where and because of this booking thru EXPDEDIA I MISSED THE WINDOW OF CANCELLATION DUE TO INCOMPETENT STAFF AT THE FAIR RIDGE INN.. I ADVISE TO NOT EVER BOOK ANY ROOM AT THIS HOTEL.

Horrible place. Keys were left in a mailbox.
Room smelled of mold. Way out dated. Beds are twin size and only sheets on the beds.

The room was nice and clean. The staff were very nice and welcoming. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting West Point.

After 35 years of business, gravel, this property is one of the most rundown hotels I have ever stayed in. This was an outside entrance into the room from the second-story balcony. The door was bowed so much that there was a three-quarter inch gap at the bottom of the door that would be big enough for rodents to enter.
We had a torrential downpour and the roof leaked into places. Into the bathtub from the ceiling above and into my wife’s suitcase with her clothing. I paid $20 a night extra to get moved to what they considered a remodeled room. There were some efforts to change out old flooring and the commode, but the rest of the room was in run down.
The two different gentleman I spoke with, at the front desk were friendly, but when I asked to talk to the person in charge they told me his name was AJ. After trying to connect with him twice in person at once on the phone I honestly don’t even know if this man exists.
The hotel should not be advertised by anyone. It needs a major infusion of money to bring it up-to-date or it should be listed from Travelocity.
