Wonderful stay. Highly recommend!

This was amazing! We stayed for just one night to attend an Avalanche game--picked this place for the location (very easy walk, even in the cold) but the entire experience was AMAZING! Staff at check-in and check-out was super friendly and helpful; the room was awesome with beautiful views of downtown, and the lounge/study was super fun to sit and have a drink and breakfast in the morning. Easy walk to 16th street mall, the Ball Arena, basically everything, but they also has a car service if needed.

We just want give a special mention to Matthew. He has made our several last visits feel especially comfortable and enjoyable. We have observed him resolve several off hours situations with a level of skill and tact uncommon in today’s world. Matthew is the reason we return to The Teatro when we are in Denver.

We loved staying at the Hotel Teatro. It’s located in a perfect downtown spot. You’re close to the theater, restaurants and all other locales.

Great location!! Natalie was very welcoming!! We thoroughly enjoyed the welcome drink! Our room was beautiful! Comfortable bed and pillows, LOVED the double sink, soaking tub and stand alone shower. The water pressure was less than desirable but we managed. We enjoyed the breakfast burrito, coffee and the fireplace in the lobby. Staff was AMAZING, incredibly friendly and helpful. We will definitely consider staying here when we visit Denver again!

Great stay...room had a few issues, but were both resolved by the front desk. Valet and Front Desk service at check in were great.

The rooms do not have microwaves. We were told that they have a few you can ask for, but they were all in use. My wife needed one for special diet needs and were unable to get one. How many hotels don't have microwaves??

Our room was comfortable and quiet. It was very clean. The heating system didn’t seem to work well but the hotel brought us a space heater.

Nice hotel and I'd stay here again. I enjoyed having a nice tub and separate shower in the room, and the restaurant downstairs was very good for breakfast/dinner. The staff was also super friendly.

Matthew at check-in was very friendly and recognized that we are Expedia VIPs; he upgraded us to a very nice corner room and offered us a couple of glasses of Prosecco upon arrival

Let's see, we get downgraded day of stay. Into a room that I could have gotten for half the price elsewhere. The room they gave us smelled like terrible cologne trying to cover up something, and we left immediately. The mgr said we would get refund in the next few days. I called Hotels.com, and they tried to get a refund, but the hotel refused. Hotels.com says sorry and offers me $150 credit? Um, I didn't stay, and their fault! Call the hotel and the lady was snippy and entitled, and even said don't get mad!?! Like calm down? Like, no... You charged me for an extremely downgraded room, we left, never stayed, made it clear upon leaving we would get a refund. And you refuse the refund??? Yeah, I might be upset or aka mad! They finally got through, and mgr apologized, and I just said "All I want is my refund, and we can be done interacting!" They did it immediately. Ugh, what an ordeal. You try to give these Boutique Hotels a chance for the character, and you just get burnt! Never again.

The staff was lovely and welcoming, but the room needed some upgraded. Lights were burnt out in the bathroom and the sink and shower hardly drained. I let the staff at the front desk know.

We are biased because it is our special hotel but it is a wonderful boutique hotel in Denver walkable to lots of great restaurants theater symphony speakeasies… The ninth floor balcony rooms are worth every penny.

Matthew at the front desk was absolutely wonderful. He recommended places to viait, and made the entire experience sea.less a d wo derful. The room was perfect. Larege bathtub AND stand up shower with rainfall heads and spray handles in both. Nice tiles a d wood furniahings. Large TV, desk, sitting area, and huge windows for a view. This is the best place ive stayed in my 43 years of life. I hate I missed tbe chance to temry The Nickel resraurant, but Matthew was kind enough to .ake me a Latte to go on my way out. Cant say enough good about this place. I hope you keep Matthew and give him a raise. He was a highlight of my trip. Thanks for everything.

An older built hotel with lots of class. The TVs did not pull in all of the channels, with limited selection.

I did not know this was an old Hotel, in the shower there was no bars, elsewhere you could have put 1 more bar in the bathroom, tell me why so they have such an ancient, wash basin, how am I supposed to save the water, if this has not been flagged up for 712,then I am very surprised, no fish and chips for Friday's, the menu is tiny lacks choice, like Breakfast, Quite disappointing.

Mathew at the front desk was awesome!! I wish the bar stayed open later than 10pm during the week. We didn’t use our $10 credit for food each day but did make it to the free Happy Hour 1 time in 3 nights.

There was a cockroach in the stairwell when we used the stairs to get to the lobby, due to the elevator not working. The 6th floor where we stayed smelled like sewage in the hallways. No ice machine. I had to go to the front desk and ask for ice. They were nice and got me a glass from the kitchen.

The hotel and hotel staff were great. The rooms were clean as well.

The hotel had a leak from clogged pipes draining into the lobby, which wasn't its fault, but not a great impression. The air-conditioning didn't work in our room and a maintenance man got it to cool a bit, but not to satisfaction. The glass shower door has too wide a gap at the bottom causing a small flood in the bathroom. The bathroom floor tiles have been flooded too often resulting in mildew stains. The complimentary happy hour only had 2 types of beer and chardonnay. They had a large crowd in the hotel, ran out of wine glasses and gave me chardonnay in a coffee cup.

The service was great however there was a water leak at the property during our stay which caused the hot water in our shower to not work correctly. Also, the thermostat in our room did not seem to work. Otherwise, the staff was great and did their best to ensure our stay was pleasant.
