This place was heavily over priced.
Average stay for the most expensive place to stay at.

Beautiful place. People who work there are super friendly and helpful. They go out of their way to make everything perfect. For example, we were consistently late for breakfast, so they would make us a plate anyway.

It shouldn’t be promoted as a 5 star. 3.5 is what it should be.

Astir of Paros is a gem. The property is so gorgeous and the location is perfect. The pool was absolutely beautiful and just steps from a wonderful beach. How great it is to go from breakfast to the pool then to the beach so easily!!?? The staff was super nice and friendly (especially the pool bartenders - just amazing!). The only downside was the wifi. We were in two rooms after having moved to a larger one and wifi did not work in either. We upgraded to an executive suite and still no wifi. There is wifi at the pool and other areas on the property but I was met with shrugs and “is what it is” at the front desk. Needless to say my son was not happy and I racked up data fees. I can’t recommend this hotel if they advertise “in-room wifi” and can’t deliver consistently. Overall though, we did enjoy our stay.

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. It seems like they were winding down for the season, so some of the advertised amenities weren't available during our stay. However, it was quiet, pleasant, and the staff were helpful whenever we wanted local recommendations, or a cab to local towns on the island. We'd be happy to stay again, and I'm sure the place comes alive during peak season.

Lucky to have an exec suite (109), 3 balcony areas, ocean front, near pool and restaurants. Staff were superb, peaceful location, 10 min cab to Naoussa(what a town!!, best on Island), the place is lively, great restaurants and on the water, late night town, you can walk 15-20 mins if not too hot. Pool bar staff and restaurants staff (on site Asian restaurant is a must as well) were friendly and would and very attentive. Private beach area is small but no other hotels in this area with beach front, crystal clear ocean, warmer at times than the pool. Big Greek Island fan now..

Lovely waterfront resort near the beautiful town of Naousa. Rooms are in little buildings akin to villas. Ours was up a flight of steep stairs. The included breakfast in the mornings was solid with a selection of hot items including some local dishes, an omelette and crepe station and a spread of different pastries and fruit. Staff at the restaurant and pool were attentive and nice. The two restaurants onsite were very expensive so we chose to walk 30-minutes into Naousa for dinner and take a taxi back. The gym and “golf course” are definitely lacking for what purports to be a five star resort. A game of tennis or golf will also cost you along with the hire of the equipment on top which we felt was a little much. We have stayed in other hotels around Greece and found that they were quite forthcoming upon arrival with information on the area but unfortunately this was not the case here and we had to do our own research to prepare ourselves for the logistics of the island and items of interest. The grounds of the resort are immaculate with stunning floral and fauna. The pool and surrounding area is spectacular and quite easy to put the day in at.

Beautiful hotel! Top service, friendly staff. Rooms nicely furnished. Large pool next to the beach. Sea was really warm due to shallow waters. Breakfast really good! Would stay here again.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. However when we booked a room, we were not informed that the spa wasn’t functional at the hotel and that there was a wedding reception taking place during our stay right under our room that kept on going till 4 am with banging music. The pool is nice but the beach front sand is dirty.

My children are desperate to go back again. Despite a bit of wind (expected on the island in last week of May) we had a wonderful time at Astir of Paros. The pool is great, the sea by the hotel is warm and the breakfast is lovely. 5 * treatment from all staff.

Rental car is adviced though because its too far to walk to the village.

Hotel is very well managed and in a great location with a nice private beach. Hotel restaurant is top notch. Stayed with a toddler who enjoyed the kid pool and private beach a lot. Its also a short drive (or can use hotel shuttle too) to Naousa.

We REALLY enjoyed our stay at Astir of Paros. The hotel service staff was beyond fantastic. They certainly make you feel welcome the second you walk into the lobby door. The hotel is fantastic. Pool and Pool bar are located at the waterfront with views expanding as far as the eye can see. Its proximity to Nousa was about a 20 min walk and a 4 minute drive. The grounds at this hotel are impeccable. I would highly recommend staying here for any type of vacation (especially romantic).

Not impressed we had to pay 10 euros per person each way to be collected from and returned to port.Other hotels do that for free and as we paid alot to stay at this hotel thought that would be free.
Hardly anyone in hotel but again they wanted to charge to use tennis courts!
Hotel is clean and tidy and accommodation was comfy.
In remote area and if you want to go to Naoussa you can walk there in about 45 minutes but no pavements. Roads not safe as dangerous to walk back at night but a taxi will charge you only 6 euros.
I only had breakfast at hotel but that was okay.
Went to this hotel as near where my son was getting married but if I go to Paros again would stay in different hotel.

We fully intend to call Hotels.com when we return home. Rooms were stark with very old furniture that was re covered. We were not allowed to flush toilet paper down the toilet. Don't take a bath- if you go to drain the tub - all the water comes up through the drain in the middle of the bathroom floor- therefore flooding it. Desk staff very rude. Sofa beds in Junior suites are not sofa beds- they are a hard as rock sofa with a sheet placed on top. How can a child sleep on that?? Only one bath towel allowed per person. Who ever rated this as a 5 star hotel- has not travelled the world. It is at best a 3 star hotel.
