Was there in room 10 minutes only to find a dirty rag. The condition of the entire back was like a junk yard . Didn’t even stay after paying 210.00 for a worst then motel 6. Positive the girl working was trying to be helpful. if you’re 20 something and just want to party and crash ok. If not keeping moving !

Very nice motor hotel, easy parking, clean rooms, friendly staff, nice pool. Hotel could use some updating but owner keeps up with your needs and is very friendly and accommodating. We would stay again.

The place is a blast from the past. I stayed in a suite with a kitchen and the front patio was amazing. It was a somewhat warm day so they opened the pool for a few people who wanted to swim. The gentleman with whom I spoke said that the property had been in the family for about 24 years. They have their repeat customers of which I am now one. See you next year!!!

Everything about Stanlunds Inn is lovely - the owners, the motel, the view and the area. We immediately felt at home and were so impressed that we added an extra night's stay to the two we had booked. Hope to return.

Stanlunds is not a new property, but is very well kept up. The rooms are spacious with a small kitchen and would be great for a longer stay when you might be doing some of your own cooking. The manager is friendly and helpful and gives a great first impression when you check in. We'll definitely stay here again.

Mid-century buildings, well maintained and clean. The grounds were immaculate and the owner was very accommodating. Quiet neighborhood not far from restaurants. The pool area is a great place to hang out!

I was very appreciative to be able to stay close to the park, booking only a week in advance. Lots of places were sold out. It was quite expensive for the amenities provided, but did not seem above market rate when I looked at other places nearby, though I did not compare amenities. There is a pool that looked very nice, but we didn't get to try it. It's a short drive to restaurants, which is very convenient. The park is not far. You can be at a trailhead within minutes. The room we had was basic and serviceable. The bed was OK, but we found it hard. There did not seem to be a remote for the TV, but it could be operated without one. There is not much else to say. No tea, hot water or cold filtered water for your water bottle. I'm not saying that's bad, just how it is. I am happy with my choice of motel. The landlord was pleasant.

This motel is straight out of 1960, with minimal updating. But it's clean and functional and eager to please. Bathroom and bed were OK, if nothing fancy. A good budget choice.

It is hard to do much for this motel. They have a nice pool and staff is working hard. But it is old and for the money, it is disappointing. Probably comparable to many in this desert community. Stayed there based on recommendation of family members who have used it multiple times.

We liked that there was a kitchenette with microwave and full-sized refrigerator. It was clean. Our suite was a large sized unit with plenty of room, but it is very dated. The bathroom heater/fan was EXTREMELY noisy.

Loved our stay! Our room was so comfortable. Very 60s vibe. We will be back. Had a full size refrigerator, dishes, etc. Next time we will stay longer. The pool looked like it was heated as there were people in it. Emily, at the front desk was very welcoming.

Older facility. Well maintained. Manager was very helpful. Biggest issue was that it was a cold night and it was very difficult to get the room warmed up. Manager even brought us a space heater.

The owners were very helpful and accommodating. They answered our questions about local hikes and activities and even let us borrow some of their personal kitchen items during our stay. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Borrego Springs. When we come back to Anza Borrego we will definitely stay here again.

I've stayed here before several times a while back and was always nice. It seemed to have been spruced up bit since then. It was nice and clean and plumbing fixtures etc. were very good. Only slight complaint was the AC/Heat unit was very noisy when it cycled on/off. So finally just turned it off during night. Would definitely return and recommend. It is a bit away from town center, too far to walk but makes it nice and quiet.

For $170 a night (not the first price i was quoted but was too tired to argue). The guy was nice but the property is very old and tired out in the middle of nowhere. Bugs in the room (and fly swatter provided!). If you really need a place for the night (as I did - due to plan changes) it's OK but the price doesn't match what you get. Not far away, the same rate get a new, slick room with good amenities, surroundings and room condition.
