A truely wonderful hotel. Incredible hospitality combined with amazing facilities. Walking distance to major attractions. And only a very short ride to the city center.
I have stayed at many hotels in Bangalore.. this is by far the best and most unique place to stay.

Taj West End remains a favorite hotel for my wife and me. An oasis of lush greenery where every (reasonable) wish is made real by staff that are courteous and efficient, where the food is superb and the ambience more so, the hotel makes a visit to Bangalore desirable.

I THANK the staff for making my stay wonderful Mr. MADHUMAY particularly helped to arrange my local itenarary. I had come sue to some unavoidably personal business that was highly distressful. During this time, I found the hospitality , welcome and kindness extended by Mr Madhu and other staffs in Dining and Frontdesk such as Harsh invaluable. Wonderful Gentlemen!

The Taj continues to set the standard for service. Every member of the staff, from the bellman to the restaurant waiters to the management, make you feel as though you’re the most important person staying at the resort. They remember your name, any requests you’ve had and even how you enjoy your coffee in the morning. It’s these details, along with a genuine sense of kindness and warmth, that make this resort special. The grounds are also lovely, lush and green with winding paths around gardens and an intimate temple tucked away in a leafy nook. We often stepped out of our room to see a plump turkey strutting by for a morning walk! The highlight is the buffet breakfast, with an excellent variety and choices from western and Asian dishes to traditional Indian options, including made-to-order dosas and egg station. We walked away stuffed every morning! If there is one place for improvement though is that the rooms are showing their age. While very comfortable, the rooms are in need of renovating or updating. The curtains are a bit faded and stained, the paint has chipped in corners and the tiles, shower doors and fixtures in the bathroom are stained and dated. It doesn’t take away from the wonderful experience of the resort but it’s certainly noticeable and surprising at a Taj. Overall, a wonderful stay and we look forward to returning soon!

Dated rooms and not well kept. No good on site food options. The service was forgettable. The property is exceptional in tis location and green cover. The recyclable glass bottles were a nice touch. I will not be staying here again.

We have stayed several timesover the past 40 years and it is our favorite place to stay. We love the charm and history. The grounds Re spectacular, relaxing and soothing the food is also good. The only problem i have seen is that the rooms do not accommodate familes with children.

The staff and service at the hotel was excellent. However, the rooms are in dire need of renovation. There are no USB sockets in the rooms, the general sockets are not multi sockets (India only), the towels are thin, the furniture / cables / shower look tired and well used.

The Taj West End has a beautiful property surrounded by gardens with stunning trees. Its like an oasis. Staff is very friendly. We stayed in a recently remodeled room that was nice. The corridor passes in the "front" part of the room, so you have to keep your curtains closed if you like privacy. The rooms are modules that are separate of the main part of the hotel. It was raining and you had to use an umbrella to get to the main part of the hotel. The property has a lot of charm.

We stayed in Taj Westend for 5 days. It has amazing grounds and their garden is definitely something we enjoyed during our stay.
The breakfast had a lot of selections and food was excellent and tasty. The Machan staff (Venkatesh, Mohan, Navya & Shwetha) provided great service.
Now, to the improvements needed. This hotel doesn’t have Bidet - which is really disappointing given the price range. The rooms are very old and dated and cabinets don’t open and close and the entryway to the room is congested & door is just too heavy.
The dosa & coffee orders during breakfast were not arriving on time most of the days and we had to ask multiple times.it’s a shame given the excellent breakfast. I wish they have a foolproof system to ensure guests don’t have to ask multiple times.
Also, during weekends there are events in the ballroom and this makes a mess to walk from rooms to lobby with too many cars and no easy way for guests to navigate.

Asked for extra care since it was my dad’s birthday and they went above and beyond to make it a great experience. Thanks for making his birthday a memorable one - will definitely be back many more times.

Never expected Taj service to be so bad, extremely non friendly staff, very arrogant and the worst was while checkout when I was charged for some bills which I had already paid.If I had not checked the details, I would have ended up paying twice. This is after I had spent significantly on F&B both in room and in the restaurant.I think this will be the last time I will use a Taj property if I have a choice.

Heritage property, nestled in the lap of nature. Lots of greenery; soothing environment The staff are incredibly professional and courteous, as is the case with most Taj Hotels across India. Quality of service is truly world class and the food is fabulous tooThe property however is quite old. Some of the rooms are rather dilapidated and don’t certainly don’t deserve to be categorised as 5 star or justify the prices being charged. Be careful whilst choosing the room to stay in. The club category rooms are in better condition.

I really want to love this hotel, the staff are great and the setting is lovely BUT every time I stay something goes wrong. It just misses on the details that an Hotel of its class should find come naturally. If you are looking for a lovely location and great staff and will overlook small issues then stay here. If little details bug you... don't

It was above average but won’t rate this particular hotel as a five start either though they have two excellent restaurants- Blue Ginger and Masala club apart from the whole day open ‘machaan’. The room and wing we stayed in was in bad shape and we faced issues like power plugs not working. The rooms look old and tired. The properly and landscaping is beautiful though and the staff and service were very good.

My husband and I stayed for 1 night at the Taj West End for our wedding anniversary.I had made the booking as a surprise for my husband.Suveera at the front office took the trouble to decorate our room and even organized a yummy chocolate cake. She gave us a room upgrade!Check in was a breeze.Since it was covid the only option was in room dining.Lunch and dinner were delivered within the time frame specified.Food was pretty average but not unexpected under the circumstances.Since the property covers 20 acres we were able to walk around the hotel. We even used the cycles which were on site. All in all it was a lovely experience. The staff always had their mask and gloves on so we felt very safe.
