Good hotel, not a great parking situation. It appeared that disabled parking spots had been moved further from the front door to make room for electric vehicle charging. Not sure how this can be up to code.

This is an older property. Some carpeting has been updated, but it definitely needs some updating and repairs. There were large chunks of missing veneer on the refrigerator/tv cabinet and in the elevator. There was some mold in the upper corner of the shower. The shower drain was clogged.

Went for a fall family weekend. Given the price and the 9/10 ratings, we were disappointed. Place looks like it has been lived in hard with not enough reinvestment. Back door lock was nonfunctional from outside, ceilings stained, bathroom needed caulking, bed covers under mattresses stained, hot tub jets barely worked. Service took the wash rags on 2nd day and didn't replace. I've stayed in worse but not at this price.

Staff was great but the property is very run down. Had to go to 3 different ice machines before I found one that was working. Easy chair in my room had a replacement seat cushion on it which was uncomfortable and did not match the chair. Furniture throughout the property were old and warn down. Hotel REALLY needs to be updated. And the coffee in the breakfast room was the worst I’ve ever had. Desk clerk, on the other, could not have been nicer or more helpful.

I really did like that the rooms were spacious with kitchenette and a balcony, the hotel was just minutes from the heart of town. I however did not like the bed, it was not very comfortable, we woke up very sore in the mornings…..then attempted to go to the pool and hot tub and they were filthy and the area looked to be in disrepair and in need of a maintenance worker! Overall it was just average

Hotel was very clean and room was spotless. Our toilet acted a bit funny and we had trouble getting into our room with our room key card a few times, but the front desk was helpful with both situations. Check in/out was easy. Short distance to the silver beach area was great.

The hotel had a lovely view of Lake Michigan! Free breakfast, a pool, and a hot tub were a great combination for a family with children. I especially enjoyed the patio area located outside of the pool area. The bathroom could have been cleaner, but the overall cleaniness of the room was acceptable.

When housekeeping did not come after our first night I called and was told they were booked to capacity and I had to call and request so I requested for housekeeping to come after our second night and we only got towels. Never was the bed straightened or floor swept (near beach and sand was traced everywhere in building). For the nightly rate, I expected more.

Clean and comfortable rooms/beds. Nice lake view. Breakfast was great. Kids loved the chocolate milk. The pool and hot tub were nice. Lots of stocked vending machines for snacks and drinks around the hotel. Laundry facility available and appreciated!

For the price it was worth it was not good. There was a yapping dog the whole night and building doesn’t even allow dogs. Kids running up and down hallways. They had no extra pillows available either. Breakfast was fine just your average hotel food. Wont be returning.

Outside balcony needs swept and cobwebs, cigarette butts picked up. Clogged drain cleaned after water would not go down in an acceptable time. Over all a good visit.

The location is great. The view is wonderful. The hotel and our room was less than expected. It was very old and dated. The biggest issue we had, our bathroom ceiling was covered with mold!! When I said something, the lady just nodded her head up and down and said sorry. Nothing else She didn’t even attempt to remedy the situation.

We paid extra for this hotel because it was on the lake. It is not on the lake like you would think. There is no lake access and our room was all the way in the back of the building. Don’t pay extra, because it’s not worth it. There are lots of cheaper hotels. The room the pool and hot tub are in is HOT and it’s hard to breathe because of it. My grandsons swam once for a few minutes and refused to swim anymore. We booked a room for 4 that actually could sleep many more but there were only three towels. Our friend we were traveling with had the same issue and her shampoo and conditioner were empty. When she asked the front desk, they asked her to come get it because they didn’t have anyone to bring it to her. Breakfast goes until 9:30 so sleeping in is not an option. The first day, they ran out of bacon and biscuits by 8:45 she said she wasn’t going to make anymore. When I told her the bacon was my grandsons favorite, she made some but acted like she was doing us a big favor. We did appreciate it but at $266 a night, it’s not unreasonable to expect the breakfast to have food. I will say the room was pretty nice except our refrigerator went out at some point and we lost all our beach sandwiches and cheese. The ice maker closest to our room didn’t work. The beds were comfortable and we liked the little patio because we put our towels out to dry. Unfortunately, the view outside was a big shipping container and construction. The bar and restaurant next door was not open.

Ceiling above ceiling fan desperately needs cleaned hair dryer in room didn't work & couldnt get replacement, front desk stated the maintenance person had not arrived to work yet. Luckily i didnt have anywhere special to go

Property is an older property. No safe for valuables, no hangers, soap dispensers didn’t work well. Beds were uncomfortable. The balcony was dirty and cigarette butts every where. The food wasn’t all that great. The pool water didn’t look clean. The staff was friendly!

We have stayed at this hotel in the past and this trip was disappointing. Our room was not stocked with normal supplies like soap, the in room coffee maker was broken, ants were crawling around the kitchen area, there was a crusty dried up contact on the table (we don’t wear contacts)…gross! Ice machine didn’t work. Our rooms key reader stopped working and we were locked out with our things inside (including our child’s medicine) until someone could fix it. Besides all of this the room was just not clean. Mold covered the ceiling in the bathroom, food or some mystery stuff was on the wall by the kitchen. The patio furniture outside was broken and cobwebs covered the railings.
