Quaint, clean and comfortable. Ideal location.
BR 1 (1st floor): Queen bed
BR 2 (2nd floor): Queen bed
BR 3 (2nd floor): Queen bed, plus two twin beds
Full bath and 1/2 bath are both on the first floor.
Updated kitchen with gas range, refrigerator, dishwasher, and microwave. The kitchen is equipped with nice pots and pans, silverware, dishes, glasses, a Keurig, and traditional coffee maker.
Private backyard, partially fenced.
Washer and dryer. (Accessible from the outside of the house only.)
65" flat-screen television. Xfinity cable tv plus streaming available.
Fast Xfinity internet/wifi.
Train tracks are located at the end of the backyard, but lots of trees mask it. (Children are especially intrigued by the trains!)
Beach wagon and chairs available for your use.
This is a popular rental, and has booked 100% in the summer for many years. I take pride in keeping it fresh and clean.
Very convenient location -- 300 steps to the sandy beach. Easy walk to the beach, splash pad, and town.
Very clean and comfortable. This is an old cottage but clean and comfortable. (Best crew in town!) I'm extremely fortunate to have repeat guests every year and I strive to make everybody feel welcome. Please read the reviews for more of the story.

We loved our stay. Very clean, comfortable, and basics provided (hand soap, dishwasher tabs, toilet paper, etc). Kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots & pans. Beds were comfortable. Location was perfect, beach was steps away. Walking distance to restaurants and shops. Appreciated the beach chairs and wagon. Will definitely be back!

My family and I had such a wonderful stay here! The host was extremely responsive, helpful, and communicative throughout. The house was just as described. It was a perfect stay for our family, as we could easily walk to the beach and to downtown. We'd love to stay again!

With my parents being retired, this place is perfectly located. They are 1 1/2 from the Bluff and shops while my daughter and fiancé are 1 1/2 blocks from the beach.

Lovely location to enjoy St Joseph, steps away from Silver Beach and from downtown area. Beds comfortable and accommodation clean. Only issue could be that AC didn’t reach the upstairs, but it worked for our group. Definitely staying here again!

This property is perfect! The location gives you quick access to the beach and into town. It comfortably fit our group of 6. The wagon with beach chairs was a huge bonus! Made it super easy to set up for our beach day. The private backyard was also a nice bonus. The check in & out process was super easy, and the hosts are super communicative. We will definitely be back!

House was very comfortable. It had ntetesting both bathrooms on first floor. Loved that kids books available to read to grandson. Beds comfortable. Appliances great. Tv and internet were accessible and easy to use. The only change I would suggest, the neighbors do not park directly behind the driveway. Pretty tricky pulling in and out. Oh, and we actually enjoyed the trains running behind the house.

The property is only 2 short blocks to the beach (can see the beach from the corner the house is on), and an easy walk to the downtown shopping area. Was nicely set up and had plenty of space for our group of 4 adults and 1 child.

We had an overall great stay! The location cannot be beat. We were able to easily walk to and from the beach, which was perfect with my daughter's nap schedule. The wagon you are able to use is such a nice bonus. Yard isn't fenced in so we didn't spend as much time out there as we thought but again, you're literally 4 min from the beach. Check in/out process was seamless and the property manager was very communicative before and during our stay. Kitchen was pretty much fully stocked and people often leave whatever they didn't use. We had 4 adults and 1 baby staying + space felt perfect for a summer lake rental.

We stayed with our family of 8 and thoroughly enjoyed the accommodations as well as the location - just a short walk to the beach (less than 5 minutes). The house was in great shape and the property manager provided all the details we needed to have a fantastic stay. Highly recommend.

The house was so well kitted out and Ken even supplied lots of towels for us because we didn't have any with us from Ireland. He also let us check out later on the day we were leaving because we had a day of rain and he wanted to make sure we had more time to enjoy the beach before we left. The house is minutes walk away from the beach and the main Street! Would definitely recommend this house.

Fantastic stay! This is our first year getting a home instead of a hotel. We loved it. The house was a perfect, relaxed beach home only steps from the lake. Great amenities, even a beach wagon. We could store our bikes and paddle boards in the backyard. Lots of space! Great shopping and food nearby. We always enjoy Tim Toos Asian grill and the Buck rooftop. Cabanas ice-cream is also a favorite. Michigan sunsets are amazing! Thank you so much to the hosts for sharing their home with others. Our family made wonderful memories. We hope to be back soon!

This was the best stay we could have imagined for our trip to St Joseph. We were traveling via plane and then car with a 2 month old and 2.5 year old, and the location could not be beat. Walking distance to town, a carousel, the splash pad, the beach, a huge playground on the beach - we had such a fabulous stay. The kitchen was equipped with enough for us to make a few meals, and the space allowed for us all to sleep and stay comfortably. There was even beach towels, a wagon, and beach chairs provided which was a huge plus! We already want to come back!

Walking distance to beach and splash pad! Home is very clean and well situated, many small touches that made traveling with small children easier. Host communicates well. A loose step was identified prior to our visit, we were alerted to the issue and a repairman fixed the issue next day without any disruption to our stay. You’d be lucky to spend time in this lovely home.

Charming house down the bluff. Easy walk to silver beach pizza, shops downtown, & short 5 min walk to the beach. Landscaping made the house feel surprisingly secluded. Happily there were no trains running at night to wake us up. Comfortable beds & furnishings made for a lovely stay. Only complaint is no lock on bedroom door.

We had a golf weekend at Harbor Shores and the property was perfect. Walking distance to downtown Saint Joseph and only a 6 minute drive to the course. Everything was fantastic and Ken was responsive and easy to work with. Definitely return when in Saint Joseph!

We stayed here with our young daughter for a long fall weekend. The location was perfect and we were able to enjoy the short walk to 2 different beaches with great playgrounds. Enjoyed the proximity to downtown, especially for grabbing a quick breakfast and hitting the farmers market. The house was adorable, very clean and was stocked with everything we needed and more. Would love to stay here again!

The property location was great. We only use the downstairs since there was only two of us. We found the floor to need mopping. The out side trees and bushes could use a trimming The microwave needs to be replaced as there is a crack in the glass window. It was well stocked and the bed was comfortable. Overall we did enjoy our stay and it was an easy walk to both the beach and to town.

The location is perfect between town & beach - both are easily accessed! It’s an old house with quirks but really a nice clean home for the he stay. Parents of tiny ones may be concerned with the steep steps, but otherwise perfect for families with kids because there are plenty of beds upstairs. The owners communicated well & we felt welcome. Quality is right for the price & location.

All together there was 8 of us staying here at this quaint little house. This reminded me is a little cottage in New England. This house was big enough for all eight of us. Two rooms upstairs and one downstairs. The only downside was that both bathrooms were downstairs and needs some touch up here and there, ie a lock between the two upstairs room. Very, conveniently located, It is only two blocks from Silver Beach and a short walking distance from the stores. The owner of the house communicated really well with us when we needed something. Nevertheless, I would stay here again in the future.

Wonderful house. Exceptionally clean, and had everything we needed. Nicely decorated. We appreciated that it was well-stocked but not cluttered. The location was perfect with a short walk to the beach, the splash pad, carousel and really good pizza. Also close walking distance to shopping and the children's museum. Despite being close to the tracks, the train never bothered us because it never blew its whistle. It was actually neat to see to see the train going by. We would definitely book here again next time we come to St. Joseph.

Twice a year we moms escape our families to play games and visit. The property was perfect for our needs with a comfortable, spacious living room area and big dining table perfect for eating AND gaming. The kitchen was very well appointed and the owner was very responsive to multiple questions.

Amazing house and great location. My only comment is that I wish there had been more photos in the ad of how the bedrooms were laid out and locations, so we could have planned sleeping arrangements better. We used the living room for the first look and it was phenomenal <3 Would definitely stay again.
