We had a wonderful stay at Piccolo - excellent staff who went out of their way to assist us with everything and a great location. The private terrace above the bay is a magic spot to relax at after a morning spent in Portofino.

Lovely hotel. Stunning vistas. Warm and friendly staff. Outstanding food for dinners and breakfasts. I stayed at this hotel in 1987 for my honeymoon and again in 1998 for our 10 yr anniversary. Coming back now - 25 years later - I had some trepidation — but it wasn’t warranted. It was actually better than I remembered.
Can’t say enough about the facility and staff. It was fabulous and worth every penny!!

The location of the hotel is wonderful. I was a little taken back by the interior of the hotel. A lot of black walls with dark marble floors. Very difficult seeing the steps in the staircase. My room didn’t have lights working - not burned out bulbs, but broken parts. Very hard to put on makeup in a bathroom with out mirror lights. It had a small light above the toilet. We paid for a terrace. Our terrace had chairs but no cushions - just wooden lounge chairs (every other terrace had nice cushions for comfort) also all terraces had beautiful bright flower boxes mine….dead dried up flower boxes . But, the location is great.

Very well located, it has its own private beach, clean, good space, and a magnoficent view.

incredible location, worth the price and the trip.
Portofino is a 5 minutes walking distance and Santa Margherita is a hike away on the hill.
The hotel could beneficiate from a more Ligure refurbishment, it is uselessly dark and kitch on the inside when it should simply be as simple and beautifull as the outside.

Service is impeccable and prices are very reasonable you can lunch and drink for around 30 euros per person with outstanding views we celebrated 20th anniversary there and was very happy

The hotel is situated in a very nice “mini-bay” and has access to a wonderful stone beach. Unfortunately the room was very dirty and unacceptable for. 4-star and the price you pay (see photos). When we checked-out we complained to the manager who didn't even offer an apology and/or discount. Cleanliness is a top priority for all of us, so stay way from here.

This is an amazing hotel. The view from our room was amazing. Staff is awesome and I would definitely stay here again if I ever go back to Portofino. The breakfast was awesome. Hotel is so close from the city center. The hikes leasing from the hotel are amazing. Definitely one of the best place i have stayed in. The staff is super friendly and helpful. we traveled with our one year old and the staff accommodated us the best possible way they could. Again 5 stars for the staff and 5 stars for the property.

Very chic boutique hotel. Just loved the design and the 2 floors. Room a tad small but the decor made up for it.

Our room is small but has nice view over the water. This hotel doesn’t have kettle for making hot tea and you have to ring the reception for pot of hot water.

Loved loved loved it here. Can’t say enough. It is a perfect property. Best hotel I stayed at in Italy. Loved the beach access that was private. Location and view is excellent. Will come back again and again. Only thing I didn’t like was that the hotel didn’t have pizza on their menu.

Do not stay at this hotel as a family. Rooms for families are very small so you end being very crammed to the point there is no room for your luggage.

It was pretty good staying there. The location is good. The view from my room is great. More light in the room and renovated bathroom would be perfect. Breakfast served salmon was good.
