Arrived at 2:30 and was told I couldn’t get into the room until 3 pm check in time. Even though the room was ready. It’s “protocol.” I came back at 3 and had to wait 10 minutes while the manager sorted out other issues in the property.
Room tent card advertises a variety of kitchen ware, but not even a fork was available to eat my order-in meal.
Bathroom sink drains extremely slowly and there was a puddle on the floor from leaking drain.

TERRIBLE!!!!! I booked this hotel 2 months ago for 10/18/24 to 10/20/24 so we can attend Family Weekend at my kid’s university. Called at 7pm to let them know we’re checking in late. Front desk found me in their system and said my room is set. Less than 5 minutes and she called me back to let me know that due to their hotel being under construction for the last two days, that I will not have a room when I arrive and to look elsewhere. She mentioned they were supposed to let guests know. I said I just spoke with you and nothing was said. Plus, if indeed it was under construction, why wasn’t I notified much earlier in the week?!?! She said this is from management and she can’t do anything. I asked if they will pay for my hotel stay elsewhere and she said NO, but that I’ll get a full refund. I asked to speak with a manager and she claimed there is no one on site. I didn’t believe her because there were so many events in Boston (colleges having family weekend and the Head of Charles Regatta) that no hotels in their right mind will leave a front desk person there without a manager available. She hung up on me when I persisted on speaking to a manager. I had to scramble to find a hotel and had to pay double the price because it was last minute. I have a feeling it was because I booked early when the price was still low and they realized later on that they can get double the price if they just canceled mine. Drove by and there was NO construction!!! DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!

Mine and my families stay wasnt great. We had to change rooms due to our first room having dirty sheets and tables and also the faucet for the tub was broken and also ood on the counter in the bathroom. We then went to the front desk to ask for another which the heat/ac unit wasnt working. So because of all of the inconvenience we had on our stay not one but two employees stated that i was getting a full refund of my money and that my family and i got a free night but its been about three days now and i still havent seen my refund back into my banking account. The rooms could use renovations.

Very old, sort of run down, good enough for 1 night. Should have paid a bit more and stayed in a nicer place.

This should not be called a hotel!! It’s a place contractors stay when they are working on a job and come from far away. Also people who are displaced. It smells and is very unclean!!!!!

The hotel is good.

The TV wasn’t working, there was not a trash can nor plastic bag in the bathroom and the phone was disconnected. On the Thursday night the chain of the shade broke in my hands. I could not sleep because there was a big and bright light in the parking lot. I informed the front desk about the shade and requested cleaning (on my 4th night). I came back to the very same situation. When I asked the person at the desk (the sabe I had spoken to in the morning and who had written down in what looked to be an official file) she goes: “oh, the maintenance guys left for the weekend… and, as for the cleaning, we only do it once a week”. Needless to say, the stay was ruined right and then. No options were offered. I had no privacy nor darkness to sleep at night. I hope this was an isolated incident as extended stay America has a great vidinhas model. I have requested a refund.

The room was damp and smelly. Kitchenette appliance out dated. Floor stayed wet for some reason(Laminate flooring).

Overbooked and told to find lodgings elsewhere. Booked online, arrived at the hotel, the receptionist went upstairs (I assume to check the room), came back and said unfortunately there are no rooms available. I would need to call Hotels.com and ask for help with finding a replacement. At that time, all rooms within $100 were booked. Let’s say $150 to be exact. I called customer service, they told me to check the website - no support was provided.

The hotel is the perfect distance from Gillette stadium. The staff was great, room was clean and anything we needed the staff could do. There is a smell on the third floor from another customer’s cat i think but it’s only in the hall; something the hotel themselves can’t control. Our room and stay was great otherwise! Extended stay in Braintree was much better to work with than Marriott in Wrentham!

horrible customer service, room
was not clean

When I arrived, my room didn't have towels, a shower curtain, or a blanket, and the room was dank and could have been cleaned better. Breakfast was very underwhelming. Staff generally didn't seem to have a lot of pride in keeping the facilities well run.

It wasn’t available expedia overbooked

Horrible smells on elevator & worse on 3rd floor - cat urine smell- ended up leaving couldn’t stay

The whole place smelled like cat urine. It was gross.

Was checked into a Dirty room 312, went back to the desk, kinda got an opps !! Was giving another room 218 , and the keys didn't work, got new keys, the carpet in the room had very bad stains on the carpet and cigarette burns, not a very good first impression, under the chair there was trash, I didn't get down to look, you could see it from across the room, I did however remove the trash, a brush and a red lighter, the bathroom had only one bath towel, just to let you know, I am the Executive Housekeeping Manager at the Marriott Residence Inn in Charlestown Boston, in my Hotel this room 218 would have been put out of order until a new carpet was installed The grab and go breakfast was out of coffee the two times I came by, was told more coffee was on it's way, this station which really wasn't much, small packaged muffins and coffee could have been better maintained, The General Manager of this property seriously needs to get his/hers priority together and get back to the basics, provide a memorable experience in a positive way . Apart from the front desk staff, I encountered 4 employees on the floors, one being the bald headed ( supervisor) from the front desk and not one of them greeted me or said Hello and two of those times was on the elevator, as a Hotelier I my self greeted them with a " Hi, how are you " with a smile 😊 You all have a lot of work to do folks !!! And it begins with the Hotel General Manager. BACK TO BASICS , start there and see what happens

Check-in was seamless, room provided was not what I booked but nonetheless the room was clean. The 3rd floor however (where the room was) smelled horrendous and just like damp, wet clothes that have been left for a month. The towels in the room looked clean but once you went to use them they were ALL stained. Disgusting and had me nervous that they were actually never washed.
3.1
Overall not really presentable to rent as a room. No coffee in room, no cups, no shower curtain, no utensils, supposedly a extended stay suite, no way, really a disappointment. The counter in the bathroom had major stains.
3.1
Hallway carpets very dirty, several times side doors that were supposed to be secured entrance were propped open, would not accept cash
3.1
Ok, average.
3.1
The room was incredibly dirty and there was no toilet paper
3.1
This hotel is adequate. Expect the bare minimum, a room. They say there is breakfast however all they have are prepackaged muffins and cereal bars. Most mornings there is coffee but once the first pot is empty that’s it. The rooms are NEVER cleaned. If you need anything like towels or toilet paper you have to go to the desk, ask for it and hope they have it ( they don’t always have towels). The only good thing is the staff does there very best with little to no resources.

Would have been a great stay but the beds are terrible and noisy! Every time you moved they squeak terrible which wakes both yourself up and other person in next bed.
3.1
Room service was only provided once per 7 days of stay. When asked to get the room cleaned, nobody showed up. Even grabbing fresh towels was inconvenient. We had to bring the dirty towels to the housekeeping manager to get freshly cleaned ones.

The gentleman at the front desk was so informative, friendly and helped us get the best rate possible. He was amazing! The room was extremely clean and supplied adequately for our one night stay(our flight that day had been cancelled). I will easily recommend this accommodation to everyone. They’ve done a nice job to upgrade and should be recognized for their efforts. We’re from Colorado and our experience here saved us so much stress!
3.1
It was alright . I liked it because it was quiet and we didn’t get disturbed as much . But staff is quite lazy.
3.1
The inside of this hotel is awful, the floor in the lobby and hallway is dirty. The floor in the hotel room is sticky

Upon arriving we were told there were no rooms available even though we booked a month earlier through hotels.com. Staff said they were working to get a refund when they miraculously found a room. Additionally, we were required to pay a fee for incidentals (which we have never experienced before), after prepaying for the disgusting room through Hotels.com. The hotel felt like a prison with steel door and cold lobby and dirty floors. A large dog was being walked in a hallway, the guest elevator was shared with cleaning staff who were continually dragging around large plastic bags, room was dirty, bathtub had a hole in it and counters and appliances were all dinged. We were afraid to touch anything let alone sleep in the bed. AWFUL!

I had a reservation. When i tried to check in they told me no rooms available because orbitz overbooks. What nonsense. I had to scramble at 9pm and found another place for double the price. And it did look dirty. The carpet on the first floor was dirty. One front desk person was empathetic. The other didnt care. 2 more people came in w reservations after me and were also turned away. I didnt get a chance yet but I will be calling their corporate office to relay the experience

made reservation two weeks earlier. got confirmation and itinerary. received reminder two days to the trip. Got there on the day by 6pm with family of six after excruciating Boston graduation; only to be told we have no reservation. That they are sold out. Again that Expedia did not confirm with them. They even denied us use of bathroom to easy ourselves most of us are ladies that were heavily pressed.
the lady on the reception made things worse. unwilling to help. Terrible, Terrible. Terrible is the word.
3.1
They were overbooked. I wasn't able to get the room

The rooms were not cleaned well—remnant of previous occupiers.

The room was very dirty. A towel was provided for the floor in the bathroom, and when we unfolded it, it was completely black from dirt and filth. There were no trashcans anywhere in the room. The floor was sticky, pubes on the toilet. Elevator inspection was months past its expiration. Same price as other hotels in the area that wont make you feel disgusting being in the rooms.

So the place could use a little renovation in the hallways, the hallway had alil bit of a smell to it but I think it’s because off pple cooking in there rooms, most of the rooms have kitchenette in them which is kinda good cause it gives you options to cook, but you have to ask the front desk for the pots and pans and other utensils, it doesn’t come with the room when you check in. The room was clean, could use some updating on furniture and a new coat of paint. The staff there was nice and accommodating if you needed anything. The breakfast wasn’t anything special at all lol it just had oatmeal, granola bars and coffee. Other than that Not bad for the price of room, the building not luxurious, but it does do the trick if yours just need a room for a day or 2 to rest, it is pet friendly. So over all I’d rate it a 5.5 out of 10

There were no signs on the walls to let you know which way to go to get to your room. We sat on the edge of the bed and the bed almost flipped up and over.
