Great stay as always

Great old hotel! Enjoyed staying, people were great, great steaks, music!

No heat in the room air condition was on on arrival had to find maintenance to turn off thermostat
3.7
Loved the historic feel it was genuine. Unfortunately the heat didn't work in our room even after notifying the front desk. They told me it is in neutral mode and that it would come on soon. It didn't.

Carpet, faucets, other plumming fixtures, wood doors, and the tile floor in the bathroom are in terrible shape.... I suppose you could call it "vintage" to be nice, but they really need to rework the rooms. Faucet had no water pressure and bathing was not a pleasant experience. However, the room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Aslo, the overall service and ambiance of the hotel were wonderful and I will probably stay there again next time I go to Hot Springs

Family of 4. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Arlington. Rooms are a little dated but it adds to the historic charm of the hotel. Staff was all very friendly and helpful. Night life in the lobby is awesome with the bar and dancing and music. Alot of fun. A must stay for anyone who loves history.

I’ve been staying at the Arlington for years and it had gotten a little run down ! but the remodel is going great we had a nice large remodeled room that was very nice while still keeping the old nostalgia, pools have been remodeled also and the bar has great drinks
3.7
History of hotel made for a very interesting stay. We appreciated the originality. Parking was an issue / inconvenient and added $22 to the cost of our stay

The common spaces of this hotel are amazing and historic, however the rooms and hallways need much renovation. I know they are in the process of doing a lot, but I was disappointed. Lots of paint peeling, water damage and “landlord specials”. Parking was $22/night. There’s a $15 resort fee per day, I’m not sure what that money is going to. The doors took old fashion keys which I liked, but they were also incredibly hard to open. It also slowed down check out times because of it. The bed was nice but the lamps and other furniture need to be replaced. The AC unit is probably older I am. While it did work, it needed to be cleaned. There’s no reception and the WiFi didn’t stay connected. The hallways are dark to the point of a safety concern. Also there were no signs for the stairs. The elevators took forever (mostly because of their size). The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. When I come back to Hot Springs, I’d probably stay somewhere else until major renovations are made.

Historical hotel in cute Hot Springs national park. Good location - lots of food options walking distance. A bit dated but to be expected with a hotel like this. Beds were comfortable. Would stay again
3.7
Nice historic hotel. Fun bar area. Very hospitable staff at check in.

The Hotel is very historic and for that alone it is great. They have redone the lobby which is beautiful. Where you see that the lack of care is in the rooms. Bad paint jobs, sort of clean, but nothing special. In addition don't let the price fool you. On top of that is a resort fee and if you want to park on the property there is another fee. We have stayed here before several years ago and it was very nice. After this trip I don't know that we would stay there again.
3.7
The shower in the bathroom was moldy and the carpet had stains. Room service food was delivered cold. Enjoyed the live music and bar/lobby area. They are renovating/remodeling which is long overdue.
3.7
The Arlington is historic. So you can take the make of that what it is. Its Old. But has amazing charm. The lobby is pretty historic as well as its location. The rooms are small along with the beds and all amenities in the room. Bit again you will love or hate this place depends on whether you like historic sites. If you love modern convenience and amenities you might look somewhere else.
3.7
This is an older hotel, historic actually, to think that Babe Ruth slept right down the hall was pretty cool. That being said, the bed was comfy, the a/c worked flawlessly.TV was fine. The people were very nice and hospitable. Location is perfect, what more do you need?
3.7
Wonderful location. Hotel main areas are updated and gorgeous. Rooms are comfortable and clean just well used and old. Bed was perfect and very comfortable. Would stay again if wanted to be able to walk to hotel and not spend a fortune
3.7
It an amazing historical building with so much character and as it is restored it will be beautiful with all its charm. And patience is necessary while riding this gem!
3.7
The parking garage was terrible. It is 2 blocks from the hotel with very limited parking. Finally found a spot on the 3rd level and had to walk down from third level with very little lighting. It was very difficult to turn around on levels 1 and 2 if you went in looking for a spot. Then on top of that when exiting, the card reader would not read our validation ticket. The room was not very clean. Spider webs and accumulated dirt in the shower. Huge humps in the carpet. Did not enjoy this hotel.
3.7
We love staying here! The doors are a little hard to open but there is a trick to it. But i love this historical place to stay at!
3.7
Carpet, wall, tile in bathroom damaged and old. No working phone in room to call desk. Several additional service charges for nothing. Parking charges daily.
3.7
Back in the day..this place was awesome however the condition of our room was horrible. Paint pealing of the wall shower had mold and did not drain well. The bathroom sink was coming off the wall.bed was comfortable. Clean sheets. They are remodeling so hopefully when they get finished it will be back to 5 stars. Costumer service was excellent! The bartender was great and the hotel staff very polite and helpful. The lobby was beautiful.
3.7
If you don't mind every floor filled with Marijuana smoke and the constant pot heads smoking at the pool around everyone's children its the perfect place for all of Hot Springs to get high and your children to learn what that smell is.
3.7
The room was very shabby and one of the beds had dirt, leaves and hair between the sheets. There was a hole in the wall and the safety bar in the bathtub was not connected to the wall. The carpet was torn and stained. I expected much more for the reputation and history of the hotel. The final insult was the “resort fee” I paid at checkout for a room in that condition.
3.7
It was a really great experience from the first moment we checked in. Ramon was super patient with me as I was a little frazzled coming in later than planned. He was super communicative and made sure our stay started off as a good time for our anniversary stay. His two bar recommendations were top notch as well
3.7
The stay was OK but the sixth floor is for pets which we did not know and my daughter is allergic so it would have been nice if they would have been given a heads up.
3.7
It was a fine stay. Facility needs updated and cleaning could be better. Good night's sleep!
3.7
Room wasn't cleaned after 1st night. Had to ask for towels, face clothes, trash to be emptied and coffee after 1st night. After asking, the towels and coffee were just thrown on the bed. No face cloths. They did empty the trash.

We love the Arlington and stay there frequently. We love the history of the hotel and the activities at night. The only complaint I have this time is that our water pressure in our shower was almost non existent. Literally a trickle of water through the shower head. Extremely hard to take a shower like that. I understand that they are in a remodel and restoration process but there is no excuse for this.
3.7
The Arlington is always a pleasant place to stay
3.7
Never stay there again

The Staff were all great and friendly, however the Hotel, lobby, and rooms was ran down very badly. The wooden bed frame and head board was broken. The entire room was in poor condition. There was stains all in the carpet along with paint and mudd peeling off the walls all across the Hotel. There was even dried up mudd on the mirrors. They keep a mini fridge in a pull-out cubby hole section of the entertainment center that will probably catch fire. The wooden entertainment center was pretty hot from the fridge heat. I unplugged the fridge just to be safe. I highly recommend staying elsewhere, but it’s a great place to check out and do a walk-through as you are exploring the strip.
3.7
I shouldn't have to pay to park in a parking garage 2 or more blocks away, also there was feces dried outside the toilet bowl in our room!! I love this place, me and my husband come here every year!! But yeah that's my issues!!
3.7
This was a rrally cool place to stay with all the history.
3.7
Extremely outdated, dirty/grimy, structural water damage that has not been addressed, and many switches/knobs did not function properly.
3.7
liked the historical ambiance of the property and the lobby area.
Our room was although very clean needed updating
3.7
Staff was friendly
3.7
Carpet was stained, sheets were stained. Ceiling over tub looked like water damage was painted over. The smoke detector & wall outlets appeared old & smoke stained.
Needs updating. Beds were old & uncomfortable.
We chose the hotel for the history, but some things should be updated for safety& comfort.
3.7
Conveniently located within walking distance to restaurants and shopping, our grandkids loved the hiking trails and the park next door. Very nice interior and the room was beautiful. The front desk clerks could use some etiquette training, but everyone else was very friendly and courteous.
3.7
Loved the architecture and the story of the Hotel. However, the room we got was in much need of updating/maintenance. Although, that is part of the charm, some things (like stains on the carpet and peeling wallpaper) could be fixed and not take away from the overall appeal. Wished there was more accessibility to the thermal waters i.e. in the pool and hot tub. Depending on which office/service staff you spoke to, knowledge and service were great. Others, not so much.
3.7
Rooms smell old and dank, roof leak from above bathroom. Just not my type of stay… rooms are dirty
