Was a great place to stay. Friendly staff

Other than the fact that there is no elevator and the rooms start on the second floor, hotel is great. Nothing fancy and a little old but GREAT customer service and EXCELLENT beds- very comfortable and quiet.

Great hvac. Looked new,bed was comfortable. The cleanliness was great BUT,,, maintenance needs dire help!. Bath tub was missing stopper mechanism, ceilings was painted very thin, could still see black mould along crown trim that was not painted over. The pool/walkway area was not osha/code grade.. railes wete rusted through and had black tape over it to hide damage, rails are s

The stay was great. The front desk clerk was very friendly, helpful and customer oriented. This place is great if your scheduled a. Raise, they offer vehicle parking and shuttle service for an additional cost. I recommed.

We stay at this motel every time we leave out for a cruise. The main reason is because the parking is free for up to a week while on the cruise and they have shuttle service which is only $10 per person each way to and then from the cruise terminal. The breakfast isn’t the best but who cares when we can eat as soon as we get on the cruise ship.

It was convenient and inexpensive. The room was clean and had everything you needed. Breakfast well lets just say you better pack something not much to choose from. It was nice to be able to leave your vehicle while on a cruise.

Good place to stay older building but clean and friendly. We stayed one night and left for cruise . You can leave your car there parked while on cruise . Shuttled to terminal. Pool was clean . Over all it was a bit better then OK . I would stay again.

Check in was easy, we were able to park for free for our cruise, and parked up front. Cars were safe. The bed was hard. The small round window was busted out and was covered in cardboard. The hotel needs a LOT of maintenance and I don’t think they have any plans on doing it. I did save a lot a money on parking. It was close to port and easy for Uber/lyft to pick. They also offered a shuttle to port. Staff was nice. The picture is from the 2nd floor. Not safe for kids or adults really.

The hotel is in very bad condition, there is wood rot everywhere. Several of the safety rails are broken and held in place by plastic shopping bags. I will not stay there again. There is no elevator for 3 floors, very are for elderly people to climb 3 floors with luggage.

We stay here for the parking and transportation to a cruise. Staff is friendly. Room smelled bad of mold, fences knocked down, and trash in the area. This places needs some tlc for sure.

Hotel is old and smells molded. Ac not very cold, no elevator only 2nd or 3rd floor rooms.

It is an older charming hotel, but no elevator. Rooms are large with refrigerator and microwave area that has it's own sink. Room smelled musty though. I would repaint with Kilz. Then paint over. Need to Charge less and they will sell more rooms. Free cruise parking is a plus.

I would stay here again. Except that the free continental breakfast was a joke a bunch of bananas a loaf of bread and 2 cereal options and skim milk and coffee not enough to really feed the amount of guests that were there wanting food.

From the outside, looks really poorly. Lobby and the room were much nicer. A/C was cold, clean and comfortable beds. Also can park there while on a cruise and they shuttle you to the pier.

Property structures look like they could fall apart with a strong wind. Many pillars, handrails, steps, walls, and lighting in poor condition throughout the property. Front desk couldn’t provide us extra pillows or sheets “because they’ve all been stolen”. “Breakfast” if you could call it that was questionable fruit, a bunch of prepackaged pastries and cereal, with pitchers of milk and juice in the fridge. Single pot of coffee with generic creamer. I stayed here Feb 2023 and got a free shuttle to the port. But, even though I called to confirm before booking that the shuttle was still FREE, it ended up being $10/person one way. Not cheap for a family of 8.

It was ok but the breakfast was not good. The coffee and choice of creamer was horrible, And I’m a coffee addicted so that’s how I usually decide if I will stay at motels again.

The staff was very nice. They suggested we order pizza in for dinner which was a great suggestion. You can walk to the free ferry and sail across the harbor on the 24/7 free Highway ferry. The property could be nicer with a fresh coat paint. There isn’t an elevator so plan on carrying your luggage up stairs if you are not on the first floor. The breakfast is frozen waffles, cereal, and bananas. It was ok for free but the trash needed to be emptied quicker. Both trash cans were overflowing by the end of breakfast. You can take a $10 shuttle to the cruise port which was very convenient.

The property seems a bit run down, but the staff and cleanliness were great! They offer port transportation for $10/person or $20 round trip. They also offer free parking for guests cruising.

Nice staff and great free deal on parking for a week during our cruise after our one day stay. Not the nicest facilities and we saw one roach but it works.

DO NOT STAY HERE! Reserved a 2bed room. Flew in late so worker called and left vm saying they were going to sell my room because I had not checked in (while on flight)!!! Informed them I was still coming but had a late flight. They called back again… Harassing me!!!! Get there and don’t have the correct room. Worker was drunk- could smell alcohol on him. He had no idea what he was doing! Gave me keys to 2 king bedrooms. Keys don’t work (this is 0330 in the morning). Call him and he doesn’t even know the hotel name when he answered. He finally gets one key to work so we said screw it and all 3 of us slept in the king bed while he worked on getting the key to work to other room…in bed by 0430! He never came back to check on us! Find out the next morning that they took off the round window and climbed through it to open the door! Be safe the windows come off with a screw driver! I should get all of my money back.

when i check in staff was very rude

It's an older hotel, but it is well kept. The room was clean and spacious, staff was friendly, there was covered parking, and bed was firm but comfortable. For a reasonably priced room to lay your head at night, this place is great. I was visiting for a special event, so I didn't do the cruise or ferry ride activities, but that also seems to be a bonus.

Was very old and in need of repairs and updating

The musty smell wasn’t good!!! Buildings condition needs lists of work!!

The only positive thing i can say is the convenient access to the port for the cruise. The sheets were clean and so was the bathroom but the room itself smelt. The property is worn , staircases missing rails, corrosion everywhere, safety concerns should be addressed. Left a phone , when we came back for it at 8 am door was locked despite the open sign being lit. We were grateful for the phone. Just dont expect too much else.

More for breakfast,

The outlet in the room had water in it and we couldn’t charge anything due to it throwing a water warning on our phones. Not safe at all. I understand about the hurricane and all but this place was not safe and definitely not worth the price we had to pay. Honestly feel like we should get a parcel refund at the least.

We stayed here because it was close to the pier. The transportation to the pier was great.

Very outdated. We were on the 3rd floor, no elevator so we had to carry luggage up 3 flights of stairs. Railings on balconies were rotted. Very unsafe. The rooms were clean and staff were nice. No place close to eat had to take a taxi miles up the road for dinner. Will not return.

Nice that they offer parking for cruises.
