The hotel could not be closer to the beach, restaurants and the port. The staff are super friendly and most helpful. Breakfast is excellent, great selection to choose from, always plenty of fresh fruits and pastries, and the cappuccino is super good. The bathroom was very clean, proper shower power, modern toilet and bidet, functioning hair drier etc. Because we stayed 12 nights, we had many clothes and it would have been a bit more comfortable to have a bigger wardrobe in the room. Thanks to regular and thorough housekeeping we always had fresh towels and good supply of toiletries. I definitely recommend this hotel, and we also hope to return next summer.

We had a lovely time in Viareggio. It's located less than a 10min walk to the train station and less than 3mins to the beach. There is a lovely walkway that goes on for Kms.

Cute building, we were in an attic style room that only 2/3 of the room had head clearance...and I'm 5ft tall. No windows and for the price it was a little disappointing. The service was great and breakfast was nice, just beware of what we were told was economy room- when we arrived.

Great location, walkable from train station and close to the beach. Very clean, friendly service, nice breakfast. Good value. Would stay here again. Suggestion to upgrade the bedding with white duvet covers.

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Tirrenia a few days in July. The location is great, the room was very nice, the service was excellent and the breakfast amazing. We loved every minute. I managed to forget my sunglasses at the hotel and they sent them to me by mail shortly after - free of charge. We like to come back soon.

The property is well maintained and well presented. Located close to the sea front and a short walk to shops and the train station. The only thing missing was facility to make a cup of tea or coffee in the room.

Conveniently located hotel, with suitable facilities for a short stay. Staff were pleasant and helpful, giving recommendations of things to do and places to eat. Wifi was available throughout the hotel, and reception was mostly fine. We had a triple room with a lovely little balcony with side views to the sea, which was a treat. The hotel provided beach towels daily, which was a nice touch. Breakfast was varied, with hot and cold options, and provided a good start to the day.

Check-in was quick, easy parking on street, great beach access. The room is a bit small, but had a balcony with a view of the sea. Bathroom is modern and edgy. The only negative is that the TV was small.

This hotel offered very good basic accommodation. The standard of cleanliness was excellent. A comprehensive choice was on offer for breakfast. Professional and experienced staff, with a high standard of english spoken. Would have benefited if the hotel offered the client the choice of beverage making facilities in the bedroom. The railway station is situated about fifteen minutes away, which proves useful for excursions to Pisa, Lucca, Florence and the more local resorts. Mid-market shopping boutiques proximal, good restaurants, cafes and bars and also local cinemas

Hotel Tirrenia is a fantastic hotel right near the beach. We stayed for 2 nights in a 3 bed room. It was clean and a good size with wardrobe, small safe, free wifi and gorgeous bathroom. The staff at this hotel are so friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel!!

Lovely hotel, clean and tidy. Very helpful owner. Yummy and fresh breakfast every day. Excellent location, walking distance to train station, market, shops, beach, harbour. Highly recommended, will definitely stay in again if traveling to this area.
