We just needed somewhere for two nights before heading up into the hills for a wedding, it was just perfect. Large rooms, slightly small but functional shower room, nice pool area and excellent breakfast buffet. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

The Kings Hotel is in a great location and the staff go above and beyond, top service, its just a shame that the hotel its self needs some money throwing at it, its dated and is in need of a refurbishment, balance that with what you pay and its not that bad, beds are big, rooms are small, but we had double glassing and the AC had a quite mod.

This is a very basic hotel with very old fashioned furnishings and facilities, but is very clean and in a good location. The beds are very hard and you only get one very flimsy pillow but again, at least the sheets etc were all crisp and clean! The very old shower head would not stay tilted up so I had to shower with one hand whilst holding the nozzle up and the shower curtain kept sticking to me the whole time (very small corner cubicle) which was annoying a bit gross tbh.... So if they could at least upgrade their bathrooms, then this would be a great little budget hotel! We only stayed one night but the staff are very friendly and the lounge area looked very nice! We didn't have breakfast, just a quick coffee but it looked like there was a good selection of cakes, bread, small selection tray of cheese and meats, yoghurt and cereals.

Beautiful pool that I didnt have time to use. Staff was sooooo sweet and welcoming! Thats the most important thing, right? Beds were comfortable, but the arrangement of the room wasnt the best feng shui-- 3 single beds and my friend and I had to crawl over one to open and close the sliding glass door to the balcony, and we reported that we couldnt consistently flush the toilet. Very short walk to Tomb of the Kings, which was downright magical at the golden hour for photography. 5-min drive to the UNESCO mosaics and waterfront in downtown Paphos. We were only at Kings Hotel 1 night, and it was fine for that. For a longer stay, it is a good budget option, but when I have a grown-up job again (Im a grad student) Id opt for one of the places on the shoreline with a huge pool. Note there is a 3-euro surcharge to rent the mini-fridge in the room--something I have never heard of--but with the breakfast buffet we did not need it.

Really enjoyable friendly hotel. Not at all pretentious, but almost everything you need - certainly more than you could reasonably expect from a 2 star hotel. really enjoyed my stay there and will return.

Room I was given at check in was poor quality (hotel was fully booked) but was impressed that hotel staff responded to my negative review immediately and allowed me to choose a new room. In general hotel was comfortable and convenient but somewhat spoilt by traffic noise. Plenty of places to eat nearby but this also made it quite noisy.
