Great place in the ski mountains.

We like going during the off season. Magic mountain is nice. Only negative is a hotel across the street that the owners need to take down but it has asbestos. Unsightly for Upper Pass customers which is unfortunate. Would stay again. Nice restaurant/ bar.

Vince was an excellent innkeeper and deserves a raise for going the extra mile consistently. I even noticed him bouncing around the restaurant to make patrons happy. Food was fantastic, clean room and clean common area. Great staff overall. It’s an old ski lodge so yeah, it’s dated… But it’s clean and that’s more important to me.

It was a nice ride there and not hard to find! I have a family of 7 from the age 7 months to 12 years old. The joining rooms could use some updating but was perfect for our family size and the bed was comfy and the room was clean! The lady at the front desk was extremely nice and very informative! We were told we should make a reservation right away if we wanted to dine there as seating is very limit. I made a reservation for 7 and im glad i did because every other table was taken! The drinks were yummy and the food was delicious! We were able to all meet the chef and he was an extremely nice man and had just as great customer service as he had talent in the kitchen! The area is realy beautiful with the mountain right down the street and if you in too beautiful/ creepy, theres an abandoned hotel right across the street. Its pretty cool to look at and you can tell its been out of use for years. The pool was freezing but all my kids loved it and had so much fun swimming and playing in the water. I enjoyed sitting on the sidelines with my legs in and holding my youngest while she kicked around and laughed! All in all it was such a fun ecperience and i hope to go there again soon!!!

Stayed in economy room. Knees hit the wall when using toilet, shower curtain too short for shower. Musty smelling entranceway. Bar, food and staff exceptional! Rundown buildings across street. Clean pool. Needs some updating and roof , soffit repairs. Business is run very well but building needs alot of work.

The bed was very uncomfortable. Hard to get a restful night's sleep. Walls and window trim could have used a coat of fresh paint. Food in restaurant was good, gluten free bread available and great Vermont craft beers and hard cider were nice touches. Outdoor pool looked run down, we didn’t use it. There was an old abandoned motel across from this hotel that was an eyesoar. Hopefully someone will buy it and make it into something nice. Hot tub in our room of choice was best feature of our stay, that was special and relaxing. Coffee too was good, staff friendly.

Nice place to stay if you like a rustic local place.

The man who checked us in was very kind and patient with us; we had a couple of special requests. And he was very helpful. The place was clean, quiet, basic.
The price was great, maybe because it was a Sunday evening in the summer. I would definitely stay there again if I was in the area.

Vestibule stank like dirty sweat socks and room smelled at first - maybe the cleaning products? The room wasn’t as unpleasant as the vestibule. Room could have used a coat of paint - walls were marked up and there was a large stain on the bathroom ceiling. Considering the price I expected something a bit better

Innkeeper was very nice. WiFi didn’t really work the entire stay and the jacuzzi tub would randomly shut off and turn itself on in the middle of the night.

The two bedroom room was unique and comfortable It was quiet and the manager was very personable and helpful!! No bad rating

Extremely well kept property. We visited in summer as we wanted a couple of days of away from the crowds. This was a perfect hidden gem. We spent time walking around Londonderry and going to Stratton mountain resort.

It was a great stay, only hiccup was being over charged for dinner after I had added everything up an was charged an additional 15 dollars but would definitely stay again.

It was fine, clean and tidy. It was a bit dated and the beds were a little hard. They did have snacks in the rooms and we did figure out how to change the tv to a different language. What I didn’t like is the limited check in time. It really ruled over our day, and we didn’t do as much sight seeing as we would have liked because of their time limit.

Inn Keeper was awesome! Just an old property.

Small town feeling which was perfect. The room was nice, and spacious. Unfortunately no refrigerator, but it did have a small coffee maker and microwave. The spa tub was a little wonky, wouldn’t hold water. We improvised and stuffed towels around the drain so we could still enjoy it. The water temperature in the spa tub and shower was very unpredictable, extremely hot or extremely cold and inconsistent. The bed was huge, I liked the firmness of the bed, however hubby was not a fan. A bit outdated on the decor, however the antique feeling of the unique windows was definitely cool! The staff were friendly, but not very educated on the experience of being there. We also chose to go to a different restaurant from the one in the building as it seemed run down and not very busy for a Friday night. Overall, a pleasant experience just average.

We had an excellent off-season stay here. The staff are all super friendly and accommodating. The rooms were exceptionally clean, spacious, with very comfortable beds. The whole property is friendly to dogs on leashes(except possibly inside The Red Slate Restaurant). We stayed for 2 nights and had a wonderful time exploring nearby Manchester, Londonderry, and Dorset. The Red Slate had an excellent menu and we ate there for 2 dinners and breakfasts (reservations on Open Table Suggested). The bar features all Vermont made beer, wine, and liquor, with inventive cocktails. We would highly recommend!
Please note that during the off-season A/C was not available in our room, the outdoor pool was closed, the only access to 2nd floor is via stairs, and the room interior was slightly outdated. These things did not negatively effect our trip in any way. Will definitely stay here again. :)

Although the innkeeper said that the hotel is being renovated, the room that we received that also had a Jacuzzi tub, was extremely old. The carpet was nasty and honestly the bed was the most uncomfortable thing. Every time you moved on it, it squeaked, and it felt like there were springs coming out of it. Most channels on the TV did not work also. We were only there for one night and didn’t want to complain, but it was awful and we would never go again.

Perfect location to ski in magic Mountain. But this place is old, outdated with old tv in the room and no refrigerator or microwave. Very noisy from the kids outside. If you are family with kids and desperately need place to stay that’s the right choice

The Upper Pass Lodge is a must if you need a spot to stay while in the Londonderry, Vermont area!!!
Last weekend's snowstorm in Vermont forced us to extend our trip by a day. Found this lodge when looking for another place to stay closer to Okemo Mountain. You don't even need to leave the lodge...room, restaurant, bar and comfy lounge all under one roof...clean too! Vince (co-owner) and Rit (bartender) were both awesome! Both went out of their way to make our stay there enjoyable. And it's close to 4 different mountains in the area 🏂🗻⛷️.
The bar only serves beer 🍺, wine 🍷 and spirits 🥃 from Vermont producers. Great that they support local!!!

Great hosts. Great location. Nice lobby / bar / lounge. Super dog friendly :-)! Room itself was basic but nice enough as expected. However, the room was not clean. Not just a dog issue either. There was human hair all over the back of the bathroom door.

Its the prime spot to stay if you are skiing Magic Mtn..2min walk from base of mtn..only reason why i didnt give 5stars was because the parking wasnt plowed and i got stuck..other wise id stay there again..

I was so impressed with our room - both the size and cleanliness - in addition to the pet-friendly policy that didn't charge extra for having them along. There was no fridge or microwave in the room or common areas, but the front desk person was so kind to heat up our food each morning. Everything was wonderful... except for the sound issues. The heating pipes clang loudly and, though I am used to this in many places I've lived, it was unusually loud. A bit like construction. We had a heat pump that I had to shut off at night because the compressor made a constant, faint car alarm sound. What was hardest for me was the lack of soundproofing between the lower and upper levels. Our last night there, people checked in above and I could hear them when they talked (very loudly), walked, and even when they shifted in bed (which made squeaking sounds). Sleep was difficult. If they could mitigate the noise issues, it would be a great place to stay again.
