The most wonderful part about this hotel is its lovely beating heart! The staff are so kind and accommodating, we felt like we were staying at a friend's home. Sebastian was especially warm and helpful! The breakfast is excellent and prepared right there with local ingredients. The building and rooms are charming and quaint, and typical of the smaller rooms in the villages of France. The location is to die for, right in the center of the historical district. We stayed for a week, and we would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Well located, very easy to walk around. It was easy to park close by. Breakfast was really good. The staff were friendly and I had a good time during my stay

Muette was a real find - we loved it! Our room was small, but perfectly clean and comfortable, and shower room, also small, but modern and well appointed.
Staff are their strongest feature though. Everyone was helpful from start to finish of our stay.

Very good location, walkable to restaurants and the market. Big market on Saturdays that is fun.
Staff is very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend.

The whole town of Arles had a power outage for most of one day and night. The staff were very good about trying to make people comfortable and provided small lanterns, charging for phones, and stayed up through the night to ensure people had their needs

All of the staff were friendly and helpful. Excellent location to dining, tourist sites and shopping.

We had a great stay at the Hotel de la Muette in Arles. Staff members were unfailingly polite and helpful, and our room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast offered a nice variety of tasty items. The hotel is conveniently located near the Arena and Place du Forum, and it's walkable (though not necessarily close) to the train station.
This hotel would not be a good choice for guests with mobility issues, as there's no elevator, and rooms are reached via a spiraling staircase. (Hotel personnel offered assistance carrying our bags up the steps, but we were able to manage on our own.) As long as you can manage the stairs, this hotel is a gem.
I would definitely stay there again.

Super nice hotel with great staff and location !!!
Rooms are small and stairs challenging
Stay on first floor if you have trouble with stairs
Very close to sites of Arles
Great breakfast but not included

A wonderful place to stay in, lovely staff so serviceminded! Stayed for one night with three kids, nice restaurants just around the corner!

Awful! We checked out early after one night due to the huge mould problem in the bathroom, uncomfortable bed and grotty bedroom. We explained that even due to mould, we were ok to pay for the one night we’d stayed, but didn’t want to stay the other six nights we’d booked in advance. They made us pay for a total of three nights (the one we’d stayed plus an additional two) even though the condition of the room was appalling. We had no choice as they had our credit card details and this was the terms and conditions of Hotels.com. The hotel was rude, unapologetic for the terrible condition of the room, and unprofessional. Thankfully we checked into L’Arlatan only a few metres down the road and had a fantastic stay - a world apart from La Muette!

A delightful place- clean rooms, very comfortable beds. The best part of the place is that everyone is warm and friendly and helpful- in a sincere way. We all as a family agreed this was our favorite place to stay in France. Thank you for your great customer service and quality accommodations! Oh and the breakfast was excellent!

This was one of the best hotels we booked in France (and we booked several). The location was perfect! The medieval feel of the room was a plus and it was spacious and comfortable. The staff was very helpful and kind, especially Abigail who helped us with the parking and breakfast. The breakfast was outstanding! We wish we would have booked more days in this place! Would highly recommend!

This property was a gem! The room was set up perfectly for a family of 4 (older children) with two twin beds up in a loft. The room was immaculate, and the breakfast buffet was delicious. The location is quiet.

Very cozy hotel in the center of old town in Alrles. Clean and fresh, very friendly staff. Only downside was lack of car park and the winding stairs to our room. But what else to expect in this environment.

Nice location. Poor soundproofing, noise from the neighbours and from the outside. Also strong smell of roasted breakfast in the room. Otherwise, nice place and destination ❤️

The hotel is in a fantastic location. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was delicious and good value. The hotel was eco friendly with interesting decor - there were nice touches such as homemade yogurt, juices, granola , soap etc
We would definitely stay there again.

We found the old building charming. It was in a super location with reasonably easy car access. Breakfast was really good. The 2 star rating does not do the hotel justice.

If you are looking to stay in Hostel, with none guest service attention and close to nothing facilities (not even water at the room), then you will be fine. The bathroom had black fungus on the shower, the mattresses are old and concave shaped, pillows are like bricks: small and hard as rocks. The receptionist told me, as soon as we arrived, that she will open the poles of the main entrance to the old city to drop off our luggage, I should call her as soon as I get there. I walked out of the city to get the car and she NEVER answered the phone, she left the hotel! The line up to go inside the city was loooong and being the firts in line I could’t move until a pretty kind lady opened the pole/gate for me, after waiting for 15 minutes. We left next morning, even we had booked for two nights. Very bad experience.

Great hotel in centre of town - only complaint would be lack of security - front door left open so anyone could walk in and bedroom doors would not be hard to break into.Would recommend and if back in Arles would stay here

A last minute lucky find. A beautifully renovated 12C building with all the natural stone uncovered. The staff and owners were charming, they have restored it and do a lot of the work on this 15 room hotel themselves. The tiny bathroom has the most up to date drench and spray showers. The bed was super comfortable with top quality white sheets. Soft pillows, soft fluffy towels and all sparkling clean. Theres a fridge/ mini bar and a kettle. Just outside are lots pf cafes and restaurants and the magnificent Amphitheatre is a few seconds walk away. I can not recommend highly enough. The steps to rooms are steep so not great for anyone with limited mobility. It was such a relief to find a place with nothing to fault.

Beautiful building and rooms. Tastefully renovated. However, the walls were not good sound barriers. We could hear people talking in an adjoining room until quite late. The great breakfast made up for it.

This is a nice boutique hotel in the center Arles. We loved our room though small it was well organized and very clean. The breakfast was excellent and the location is fabulous to tour the ruins of the Roman civilization in this city. There is no lift in this hotel so it is difficult if you can’t do stairs Or you need to request a lower level. Access to the hotel and parking are a little tricky but the hotel gave great directions for both. We did have to park on the street about three blocks from the hotel but it was no problem.
