The front desk is nice and helpful. However, the rooms are disgusting.. especially the bathrooms. I had to check out early and find a new place. There was mold and hair in the shower. The bathroom door wouldn’t even close. Maintenance came to fix something in the room while I was out and I was not notified, my things that were on the counter were thrown into the sink and had water dripping all over them because the sink was leaking. It’s a non-smoking hotel, but every floor wreaks of cigarettes. Don’t waste your time.

Bed was still in disarray from the previous night’s occupants when we checked in, although the bathroom seemed to have been cleaned. We were given fresh sheets and changed the bed ourselves. Note the dangling smoke detector above the bed as well. Pay the extra $25 and stay elsewhere. Trust us!

Verily, as I sojourned through the lands of Huntsville unto the city of Florence, Alabama, for a laborious task of moving, lo, I was led to a place of rest and respite, an inn of great comfort and provision. In the midst of mine travels, weary from the toils of the road, I did enter into this haven, and behold, it was as a sanctuary in the wilderness. Yea, the hosts were as angels in their kindness, greeting me with warmth and hospitality, offering sustenance for the body and rest for the soul. The chamber in which I did lay my head was as a palace, with a bed soft as the clouds of heaven and linens pure and clean as new-fallen snow. No discomfort did I find therein, nor any blemish to mar my peace. The morning did greet me with a feast, prepared as though for a king, that I might have strength for the journey ahead. And I did depart from this place, refreshed in body and spirit, giving thanks for the blessing bestowed upon me. Thus, I say unto thee, if thou findest thyself on the path through Huntsville, tarry at this inn, for it is a refuge most excellent.

Hallways had an odor they have no recreation or lounge are so people was just hanging out outside in the parking lot. Staff was very unprofessional and walked in my room unannounced while I was not dressed

It was absolutely filthy- i saw cockroaches, the floors, walls, bathroom and common areas were filthy, and it smelled strongly of mold and mildew: I checked out after just one short night and they refused to refund for the next 2 nights.

Property was very dated and very dirty. Front desk staff was not attentive to clients. Bug droppings and hair everywhere. Left the hotel to go to another one there was no way to stay there. The hotel smelled horrible also.

Be careful staying here the bed sheets don’t look clean, the refrigerator that was in the room looks like they used wall paint to remodel the refrigerator. I went to shower and there was no shower head. WOW this here has been the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at.

The staff was really nice but the hotel conditions were horrible. Definitely did not match the pictures. There were also a bunch of weird rules. Didn’t feel welcoming or like a relaxing place. The hallway leading to the room smelled horrible! The smell got worse as the day went on. No housekeeping and there was no bedding for the sofa bed. There should definitely be a cancellation clause for horrible conditions.

When I first walked into room I seen the kitchenette and the old rusted refrigerator open the door even further walking in I checked out the bed it was a cheap metal frame with a mattress on it The sheet smelled clean freshly made then further getting into the room settling in I decided to take a shower there was no hot water so for the price that you rent a room for $75 I could have added 10 more dollars to that and went to the Red roof inn and got a lot better luxury with hot water but if you're in a pinch and need a place to stay didn't see any bugs didn't smell any bad odors bed was comfortable

I wouldn't recommend this "hotel" to anyone, not sure why it was listed on Hotels.com. Office hours are terrible, my room only had one working light (the bathroom), and fellow patrons were smoking cigarettes and pot during 2 of the 3 nights I stayed there.

First red flag was walking up to the door and a woman who was staying there told me to get my money back because they haven’t had hot water for a couple weeks, roaches and it was dirty. I still wanted to give the place a chance since we drive 6 hrs was pretty exhausted and it was getting late. Checking in went well until we asked if we can take a look at the room. She didn’t want to but she let us check it out anyways. We proceeded to go look at the room. We took a few steps and turn on the light and it was filthy! The fridge was so rusty! The floors sticky the lights barely wanted to stay on. It kinda reminded me of the movie hostel. We’re also traveling with our puppy and ain’t no way I was going to put our baby in that room. We didn’t stay. The clerk told us we’ll be paying for a night even though we left but Hotel.com got our money back! Thanks!

I travel a lot and know about the sexual predator database check. But I had never been told straight up by the desk lady that my name would be checked. Maybe its an Alabama thing, or maybe its happened at this place. I dunno. Besides that weird intro, all the rooms had kitchenets but no coffee maker. And seeing bug traps in random corners was also not great. But I didnt see any bugs, so that's good that the traps arent necessary. Listen, I just wanted an enclosed space with a locking door. And thats exactly what I got and not a single thing more.
