It's a mile walk from anywhere, whether that be the beach, the old town, the bars/restaurants nr the tombs it's all a mile or so away. Central but convenient for nowhere.
Despite it being a family hotel some clowns thought it appropriate on multiple nights for them to slam doors, shout, generally make loads of noise at 1-2am.
Room was relatively clean but bare, breakfast was poor but we prefer something with a bit of taste when eating.
We won't be back.

I stayed in a room facing main entrance (371), very noicy. The first night was waken up by the bus 4 times, they are comming until 00:30 am !! Couldn't fall asleep after, almost until 2 am, and then in the morning, woken up by another bus/track or something like that, at 6:18 am !!!
The second night was the same thing, but this time, the last bus was at 11:30.
The mattress is way too soft for the single beds. This is my 4th or 5th time in the hotel, i always had a double bed, and don't recall waking up with a back pain.
I will be honest. Dissapointed.

Good internet connection, good restaurant, friendly & Helpful staff
Didn't like the smoking policy in the hotel can't enjoy the out side space & activities

Staff were very helpful but I would not label this a four star hotel. Mattresses were hard and thin and the room itself was quite bare.

Beds and sofa beds, all are so hard and not comfortable at all. Pretty basic furniture. Overall should be only 3 star hotel, but not 4 star as advertised..
Staff was helpful. Food is fine apart from chef trying to limit carvery for tiny pieces of meat at a time, but much more being available for ALL INCLUSIVE options.
Although paid for all incisive, all drinks included are substitute ones. If you ask Martini, you get something else saying its local or to pay extra. So do not see the point of all inclusive. If you sell all inclusive, just make it all inclusive.
Rooms were noisy until 11pm if you take pool view rooms as music goes on and having to have windows open because AC isn't switched on saying it's winter now.
Staff were friendly and helpful.

Hotel was very good buffet breakfast excellent, only downside is area round hotel is very run down .
Good plus is only 15mins walk to old harbour area which is excellent with looks of restaurants and bars shops and paved walking area alongside the sea.

Amazing stay - staff couldn’t be more accommodating Hotel was in an excellent location it was clean perfect for our short stay. Breakfast was brilliant we had some issues with our hire car and the staff were extremely kind and helped us straight away!

Was a good hotel, great location half way between Pafos old town and harbour.

My stay has been brilliant even though i was a solo traveller. This hotel caters exceptionally well for families. The ladies at the front desk were extremely helpful, notably Olivier. Sorry cant remember the other name. Olga also deserves a massive mention. I think she deserves a pay rise. Every time i walk past i see her beaming with smiles as she serves her customers. Brilliant.

Avoid - Not a 4 Star Hotel !
I recently had the unfortunate experience of staying at the Mayfair Hotel in Paphos.
While the hotel had its charms, my overall experience was greatly disappointing. Despite its high price, the hotel did not provide top-notch service. The staff were unfriendly and unaccommodating, which made for an unpleasant stay.
Review on the room
I was extremely disappointed with the quality of the room I stayed in. One of the most significant issues I encountered was with the bed. It was extremely uncomfortable and making it difficult for me to get a good night’s sleep. This made for a restless and unpleasant stay.
The cleanliness of the room is also a major concern. The toilet was not clean and there were several stains on the floor. These issues made it clear that the room was not being properly maintained and left me feeling frustrated with the quality of the hotel.
The services
During my stay at the Mayfair Hotel, I was deeply disappointed with the quality of the staff and services. Getting assistance with basic requests was difficult, and the staff seemed uninterested in improving my stay. It was clear that the hotel was not investing in training and maintaining a high level of customer service, leading to an unsatisfactory experience.
Review on the facilities
The facilities at the hotel were also a major disappointment during my stay. Many of them seemed to be in disrepair, with some not functioning properly.

We were in Cyprus for a week for a family wedding. We really enjoyed this hotel. We were all inclusive. I'm vegetarian and my husband is coeliac. Georgios in the restaurant was really great at making sure my husband had gluten free options every day and a special dessert. The buffet is excellent, nugs and chips for kids, a salad bar, soup station, kebab station most days, noodles, rices and potatoes and a vegetarian corner. Plus lots of meaty favourites for meaties. Cheese and biscuits, ice cream and chilled dessert stations. Something for everyone. I think the house wine was a chardonnay which is perfect for me as it's my favourite.

Very clean and impressive front entrance and reception. Clean and quiet rooms and impressed with the standard. We only had the option of a packed lunch meal with wrap, pear & water for dinner as our plane delayed. Breakfast choice disappointing and like a school meals hall atmosphere but all clean and well organised. Food needs improvement in quality and choice.

Nice modern and minimalist rooms.
Area around hotel has quite a lot of building work but didn’t feel unsafe.

This hotel has the best staff I have experienced at a hotel and I have travelled a bit.
They just make you feel welcome and we're just friendly.

I couldn’t recommend this hotel enough! We just got back from a week all inclusive (young couple) and we didn’t expect to love it as much we did. The breakfast was lovely, we were impressed with the dinners on many of the nights. Can’t fault the staff, especially the entertainment team they’re all amazing at their jobs and the entertainment was brilliant! The cleaners came most mornings except the ones we didn’t want them so the rooms were lovely and clean. Pool was great as well, would definitely come back and although we didn’t have children with us it was really good for kids!

Stayed 5 nights managed to book 6 extra hours as we were flying late evening at an extra charge which was reasonably priced.check in was swift and first impressions in reception was yes it's nice and clean looking. We were allocated a room on 4th floor in the east block away from the main reception over looking the main pool. There was a lift and once entered the room it was obviously brand new and could smell the newness. The bathroom had a large walk in shower which was powerful and very modern.. We had a double double bed pushed together which was very comfortable. The room was large with aircon TV and coffee kettle and fridge it had a large wardrobe and plenty of hangers.there was large patio sliding doors with a balcony over looking the pool.the hotel at the time was very busy so had to make sure you got sunbeds early enough but plenty of sunbeds available.the pool and area was always clean and tidy. the management and staff were always busy and work really hard always polite and caring.the entertainment team are probably the nicest people we have ever met always came round and had a chat with us.we were only bed and breakfast as we like to go out and eat. but the breakfast had so many choices of fresh fruit yogurts etc .. Cooked food bacon sausages beans eggs pancakes. Cheese ham. Coffee soft drinks etc.. Really good choice of food.didnt eat a evening meal there so can't comment. The location in paphos is amazing to go out and explore.. Really enjoyed my stay there

My stay was good. I enjoyed it. Lift area needs more attention to cleaning. Staff all nice, except for the man that checked me in. Managers were excellent. Both the manager at the restaurant and the lady manager at the reception. Cant remember their names

Smoothish check in, was sent to wrong building, air condition centrally off from November in the more modern furbished building. Issues arise when trying to find solution with suboptimal resolution. Clean and tidy room. Loud and noisy shows held at the pool/bar area that went on past 11pm didn’t help with windows open due to lack of air condition.

Everyhing was great, except water in the bathroom wouldn't go down (I called the reception to fix it, they said they would, and during my stay of 6 nights, no one did), and a lot of mosquitoes in the bathroom.

Dirty, filthy rooms. Loud noise from the bar until late. Uncomfortable and old furniture. No bed linen and extremely hard pillows. No cleaning from room service or changing of towels. Unable to bring towels from hotel out of the room unless facing a charge of 10 eur.

Overall the hotel was great, very modern and clean. The variety of food on offer for breakfast, lunch and dinner was really good. So much choice and good quality. The beef Wellington was incredible and the best I’ve ever had. The service from the staff was really great in the reception and the restaurant. The WiFi wasn’t great, had none at in the bedroom for 5 days due to a router issue. The air con in the room was minimal giving out the tiniest bit of cool air. I visited in Oct so it wasn’t that hot in the room but during peak summer it would be very uncomfortable. No spa or gym on site though as was closed due to COVID however lots of other hotels had theirs spa facilities open so was a shame.

Loud music playing throughout the property from when I checked in until late. Not my personal taste, but seemed to appeal to many of the guests. The room was clean and comfortable. All the expected amenities. Breakfast was a good buffet with lots of choices and freshly prepared options.

I stayed one night and overall not impressed. I’ve stayed in many different hotels with different star ratings and definitely don’t think this hotel should have a 4* rating. This was comparable to a 2* hotel I stayed in Paphos for the same trip.
Staff were helpful but I was informed of the wrong timings for breakfast (I was told 7-11 but breakfast was all packed away by 10 so I was only able to get a coffee).
The room was not clean, there was a squashed bug and someone’s earring in the shower. The curtains and sheets were visibly stained. The towels were very worn out.
The room was large but the bed was like a camp bed mattress and the doors insides safety lock didn’t work. The walls and doors were all scuffed and not maintained well. The rooms/door/windows are not sound proof so you can hear everyone in the corridor and the loud music and late night entertainment.
I’ve taken some photos but in retrospect should have taken more to evidence details.
The only positive is the location of the hotel which was good as you can get to the beach and main shops.
For the price paid and advertised star rating I’m extremely disappointed.

Nothing and the internet connection is horrible. They did not clean the washroom regularly, never changed the towels.

Short break away. Took all inclusive option. Checkin speedy and friendly. Rooms modern, spacious and very clean and comfortable. Drinks were of high standard and generous measures. The wine is particularly good. Food - this is the highest standard of food offering I have had in any all inclusive in Europe. Greek/Cypriot night was amazing. The next night , one of the choices was beef wellington- And it was outstanding. Breakfast lunch and dinner choices were plentiful ,of high quality and lots of variety. I particularly liked that you’re asked at dinner what drink you would like the moment you sit down and it’s at your table when you return with your first plate. Excellent restaurant service. Nice outside terrace if you prefer to sit outside to eat.
Pool area does get busy -all day , but the hotel is located about 10 mins walk to lighthouse (sunset) beach . 10 mins to main bars, 10-15 mins walk to main bus station and harbour and there is a bus stop on the main road by the hotel if you prefer. Would I return - DEFINATELY. this hotel offers excellent standard of rooms/food and beverages and excellent value for money.

Good value for money. Nice room. A bit hardish bed and no mattress topper. Nice breakfast. I can’t believe the hotel only uses non-ecologically single use plastic cups! Thermoplastic glasses should be used in the pool area and glass glasses in the restaurant. Very beautiful and large and green pool areas with nice music though many sun beds are broken. Good and walkable location for us.

Lobby and swimming pool area were beautiful. Good breakfast.
Room was dingy, out-dated, of sub-standard construction and they charged to use a very small room safe ( not big enough for my tablet), they only changed the (2) towels TWICE A WEEK (and these were the towels you were expected to use for bathing AND the pool) and they had warnings about financial penalties if you got suntan oil or makeup on these 2 towels. Needless to say, I did not use the pool.
