Great hospitality and really nice host. Building is historic so the floors creak and the shower is a bathtub but otherwise a great stay. Breakfast was amazing- totally gourmet/ and the bed was comfy. Really appreciated the host accommodating my late checkin.

One-night stay at halfway point to our final destination. Great choice of accommodation : small, cozy, beautiful, clean and comfortable with AC! Lydia the innkeeper/ chef had everything organized for our late check-in so everything went smoothly after our long 5 + hour drive . The bed was great, breakfast was delicious. Lydia is wonderful. Spending the night in such a beautiful place was delightful!

We stayed here while in town for a college tour, and loved it! The home is beautifully appointed, and the breakfast was nothing short of amazing. The owner was friendly and accessible, and thought of everything to make our stay comfortable, from a sound machine next to the bed, freshly baked cookies and chilled water in the room, to wine, coffee and tea in the great room. We slept very well, and were sad to leave!

Beautiful historic property run by a pro. It’s a treat to be hosted by someone who really knows her business, from responding to each guest’s interests in this beautiful area to preparing an amazing breakfast. The inn itself is a remarkable historic building. A special experience.

This is a beautiful B&B in semi-rural NJ. We were on our way to New York City from Philadelphia and this was a perfect place to stop. The innkeeper, Lydia, is delightful. There were cookies in our room, wine in the great room and she made us the most wonderful breakfast, included in the original cost. The house itself is very historical and the grounds are super interesting. This is a place we will come again if we ever find ourselves in the area. Do yourself a favor and stay here if you're in the area.

Personalized stay. Beautiful breakfast w seatings at 4 times. Coffee, tea, water available at all times & red wine at night. Easy parking in back & contactless checkin w directions to your room w keys. It’s a lovely old home with fully modern updates. Lydia, the owner, is friendly & responsive without being invasive. Only issue was early noise from passing trucks. Go to bed early & it’s not a problem. It’s a hotel but a home

This was such a beautiful place - roots in the 17th century with rooms totally updated for comfort. The common spaces were wonderful and inviting and we enjoyed relaxing with choc chip cookies and complementary wine. Our host Lydia was amazing and cooked us our best breakfast ever! Highly recommend.

Beautiful location, gorgeous home, & delicious breakfasts! Homemade yogurt & Java chocolates in the morning—who does that these days?! Lydia does! Incredible breakfasts with the final indulgence after the meal being a homemade Java chocolate truffle because every meal should end with chocolate. Wow! She plans on writing a cookbook; when she does, I’m buying one. It was a very peaceful, restful stay.

The history behind the place, great service, and best location

A wonderful place to stay in the Princeton area -- so different from the cookie-cutter chain hotels. Lydia is a great hostess and made me feel very much at home. Breakfast was great -- I'm still dreaming about it! I stayed during some very cold weather, but inside the Inn it was cozy and comfortable. It would have been nice if there was some piece of furniture I could have used as a desk in the room because I was on a business trip -- I understand you can request something, but I didn't know it at the time. All in all, I was very happy with my visit and am sure I'll be staying here again.

It was a lovely inn, with great charm and a hearty breakfast. It is easy to reach by taxi or Uber from downtown Princeton or the train station at Princeton Junction. It was quiet and home-like and I would stay there again.
