View was good

All excellent other than our late checkin experience. For a 5 star hotel, this was extremely poor and a bad start to the holiday. The phone was unanswered for ages, they didn’t help us with options to get to the hotel, and when we finally managed to get there there was noone to help us check in for ages. And the person who ended up checking us in had no information to help us with our stay

Be warned! You must reserve “time” at the rooftop pool in 2 hour increments.. and must book day by day at 8am, not by phone, but downstairs in person.
Location further away from San Marco square for dining/ shopping. Carpet in our room was torn/ dated/ filthy. Some rooms need remodeling / updating.

I felt like some areas of the hotel were quite unclean. The staff was very nice and major parts of the hotel were clean.

We didn't expect to find such a gem. We will definitely be back! This hotel exceeded all of our expectations. It is a wow!

The pool is small and gets booked up very early in morning. Breakfast is great. Very safe. Great shuttle service to town.

Lovely nice stay

The only reason is not full five stars is the difficulty to get private water taxis. The shuttle starts at 9:00 am and if you want to go earlier you need to make reservations to taxi

This is a lovely hotel with good ambience and very clean and impressive.
However, for the price
1) the pool is small, you can only book 2 hour slots (if lucky), gets a bit crowded etc.
2) there is a ferry (for hotel users) to go main island, but it is not complimentary. Guests have to pay. For a high end hotel I was very surprised.
3) Everything is geared to making you spend money - even a basic like water was at a charge (mini-bar or at shop). Or you pay more for executive and then get drinks and nibbles.

Nice to be away from the hustle and bustle of Venice and to appreciate it from a far. Great links to the main island and easy enough from the airport. The hotel restaurants are pricey though so be prepared for that and maybe not the most kids friendly.

I liked being out of the hustle and bustle of Venice and in the summer it’s nice to have a pool!
Water is scarce here…no water bottles in the room, asked the front desk for water and they had none, asked if we could get some at the hotel shoppe and they didn’t have it, but were told the bar would open within an hour….5 star hotel with no water for guests?! Crazy.
The pool area needs to be cleaner…I’d suggest a an adults only half of the day.
Breakfast buffet is a SKIP. Food is subpar…

The hotel was well-located they offer a ferry to get you to the main island, and service is really good overall. The rooms are clean and knit.

Great hotel
Only 15m away from St marko
Have a shuttle takes you there and back for 15 euros per adult for the duration of your trip
Pool is a great addition for a hot day
You need to make reservations it’s 2 hours limit
Great rooftop bar,
Only think I wish this hotel did is play Italian music NOT English

Lovely hotel even the location wasn’t an issue. Taxi service ran really well too.
Only issue(s) I had was then check in took ages, consequently there were always long queues.
There was also no shower gel on our room and when I called I was told they will send some up. An hour later nothing and I called saying they don’t have to bother anymore as we are going v to bed - our little one was knackered - they completely ignore it and send someone up 30mins later banging on the door with body wash?! I mean why bother.

Amazing hotel. We found being off the main island a little awkward if you want to do lots of sightseeing etc but would be perfect if looking for peace and quiet at the end of the day.

We arrived,1st room looked like a motel room( filty rugs, worn out)
Asked for change, the hotel said" we paid for a non remodeled room"...well is that an option in a "5 star hotel"...?
Then slept 2 night then asked to move to another room.
We left the hotel. Refund wasn't given.
Bad for the brand really bad.
Think twice before you assume that you get a 5 star experience.

Good price but you have to take vaporetto to get in the City of Venice
6.0 / 10.0
Room is beyond tiny and walls have huge black scratches on them. Mini fridge had to be fixed and hairdryer replaced. Don’t eat at the on site restaurant - massively overpriced (more than double costs of local eateries) and much better options available within a 2 minute walk. For the cost was underwhelmed by the experience.

This hotel reservation desk is the problem we had. I booked on expedia, but needed to adjust the dates, I contacted them through Expedia but after two days I got no response. I called and updated the date over the phone (extending another day) they said this was fine. Then upon arrival they said I couldn’t prove I had changed the days as I didn’t know the persons names. No longer a Venice canal view and the English speaking reception (with an accent, so it was harder for me) said they have one room them can give me with an awful view (literally the only room with a view of internal polls and utility beams- I understand why the rent it last) She said “I can give you the room for one eighteen” I was happy with that as I was going to spend 300 something on the view room, so with such a low room rate I’m fine keeping the curtains closed to avoid the metal poles) Not until two days later do I find out she did not say “I can give you the room for one eighteen” - it was “I can give you the room Four- One- Eight’e” 🙈 So I spend hundreds more than expected, for no view at all - even though I could show them the call made to them for 10 minutes days prior they didn’t have record of it. All in all at the higher price for no view I would have much rather stayed at a hotel on the other side of the canal so we didn’t have to take a sweaty shuttle boat to San Marcos where everything is located. Obviously would have been better if I spoke Italian, but she spoke English.

I did not like that The Hilton did not share with us that there is a shuttle that could have picked us up from the parking area to bring us here. Secondly, we are given room service menus that we are told to fill out and hang on the door and they are picked up by two in the morning so we can have our breakfast at the time we called. The problem was I woke up this morning at 7:30 was supposed to be in my room between seven and 730 and the menu was still hanging on the door. Now, they did get us what we ordered but nonetheless it was disparaging.

Too many rules for the money. Required to reserve a limited time to use the pool facility. Executive lounge has limited hours. Staff is very strict about their rules.

Fantastic stay! Room was lovely, suite accommodated 2 parents and 2 kids well. Front desk and concierge in particular were exceptionally helpful in arranging details like boat taxi to the airport and dinner reservations. Rooftop pool was a must, worth getting up in time to make reservations (daily) and highly recommend going out to the rooftop bar at night when the summer heat cools off. Strongly recommend.

It has a great view of Venice. Staff was friendly and very helpful. The private hotel restaurants were also convenient for dinner.

Great hotel, fantastic breakfast, amazing room and great to have access to a pool and bar.
Excellent transport options and only 10 mins on the water taxi across to the main areas of Venice.
There are also excellent bars and restaurants right next to the hotel.

We arrived late and had not had food. We had half board so had missed a meal. We were told there is no food. I said I can’t except that and some how they appeared with 2 meal box’s. The cost of alcohol is most expensive I’ve ever experienced and I travel a lot €18 for a Aperol and in the centre of Venice it’s€5. Food was very nice.

This has been our 3rd stay at the Hilton Molino Stucky and we will continue to get back here when in Venice.
The location, the facilities and the level of service are hard to beat: just a great place to stay, so close to Venice and yet so far away from the crowds of tourists.

Great place to stay when visiting Venice. Great staff and has a cool rooftop pool.

Boat shuttle should include other ports, for example Palanca, for a easier way to parking and other ports, also staff should ask at check out for parking ticket so we can get the discount.

Room was very clean and bright. All the staff were very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was great, lots of choice and catered for everyone. Giudecca is a welcome retreat from the liveliness of Venice. I didnt use the shuttle, but the times seemed very regular and if you have not visited Venice before then its certainly worth the 15euro per stay. Would recommend the hotel its what you would expect, check in and out is swift and a no hassle experience.
