Hotel dropped pin on map is completely inaccurate, it’s an 5 minute walk from that actual location, not ocean front as located!!
Only gave an additional star because they were available for late checkin as we were arriving after midnight.
We were in room 030, after a shower the room flooded, not because of a leak but the shower base is higher than the floor and water just kept pouring out. Breakfast was ok nothing too special but you’ll find something. Booked a double but ended up with two twins, didn’t change as it was 1am. Our room was noisy not due to the fact it was on the pool level but because the walls and hallways in this area of the hotel.
Did the job we wanted but we were away by 9am so cannot comment on facilities. Hallways and restaurant are a bit run down

Location was great, staff were very helpful and the hotel food was the best I’ve had. Plus plenty of sun beds around the pool. If and when I go back to Salou, I’ll be staying at this hotel. Everything about it was spot in. Great choice.

This is the first time I see a hotel bed whose bed sheet does not cover the mattress cover (see picture). We reserved a room for 2 and were given a room with three beds, one of which was foldable bed. None of the beds had the quality you would expect at a 4-star hotel. We had one hand towel and one bath towel per person, period. Only hand soap and shower gel: no shampoo, no tooth paste... One of the staff members at the reception desk said she "had to work" but not with customers which left the other one alone with all the customers checking in (there was a line that could have been avoided). They requested proof of payment for the room even if the room had been pre-paid on Hotels.com. We had to email them our payment receipt! None of them spoke Catalan (the official language of the area). Our room was next to the elevators, the arcade room (which had the doors open all night) and the all-you-can-eat buffet where more than 200 teenagers between the ages of 14 and 18 were left unsupervised until later than midnight (they starting knocking on room doors just for fun), so we had to use earplugs to sleep. This hotel has MINIMUM comfort and is absolutely NOT a 4-star hotel. Thank goodness we only stayed one night, and that hotels.com gave me a discount. NEVER COMING BACK. I DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL

Our stay-room with seaside view for 10 nights as a family with child, half board meals a.
Check in was not at the best customer service as communication is not a skill the reception has- Wi-Fi codes were not provided, asked for booking email as they did not had it, parking not provided as it said was full at 10 am .After we had to go round the area and couldn’t find a parking spot a different receptionist said parking was available-an hour later and asked to pay €150 - €15 a night not €12 as website advised. We were told to go and eat somewhere else as we missed the dinner - until 9.30 pm.
Our room was not what we were expecting, bathroom had a lot of issues- shower door not
Closing, water not running down as full with dirt, toilet seat moving and dirty toilet. At the entry room door was a metal coming out - had reported it but even after 10 days nothing was done about it, we happed to hurt ourselves a few times as sharp. One of the bed was in no condition to sleep -hard and noisy with every movement. On a positive note we had the best seaside view - spectacular.
Next day I had a chat with Louis the hotel manager about our 20 hours experience and he was very helpful and changed the bed and provided a receipt for the parking.
The swimming pool is lovely but the sun-beds are not accessible - towels on.
With the meals it’s at set times / buffet , repetitive menu, no drinks offered -extra charges.
Cleaning is poor- no hovering but moping only floor.
Will not return .

Planned to stay two nights, ended up having to move hotels the day after because of mold in this hotel.
Rooms smell like bleach as they are defiantly trying to hide what's in the rooms.
I walked into the hotel healthy woke up sick and ended up at the hospital later that day and now 6 days later I'm still trying to get over the breathing problems I got after less then 24 hours at this hotel. Please stay away until they have fully refurbished the hotel and cleaned out all the mold.
The owner has a copy of my doctors report and the hotel staff was not very helpful when I came to them with my problems.

Checked in at 2am for a 1 night stay, managed to secure a late checkout even that close to the time. Room was on the top floor facing the sea. Amazing!

2nd time staying at the Salou park. It did the job as we mainly used the hotel as a base. Buffet breakfast and dinner was ok. Bar was good, nice choice of drinks. Outdoor pool was a bit fresh, but it was October.

Not 4* can no longer recommend this hotel as all reviews show food here is a joke. Unless you eat half cooked bacon a and tray after tray of fried eggs and chucked together. Trays of food not being replaced quick enough. Plus you see this hotel with a pool bar its bin closed for years how miss leading are the pictures when you are choosing accommodation. Lots of better hotels in the area. Any problems you bring to reception will be dealt with in the form of (Ill tell the manger)

The only good thing about this hotel is its proximity to the beach. The rest is all bad or average. The food is of poor quality and unhealthy. They charge you for the fridge and the safe, something i have never seen in my entire life of travelling. Rooms are not cleaned properly.

The pool and upper sun beds, entertainment was more kid based.

Hotel lobby and common spaces are beautiful but the actual rooms were marginal. Worst beds ever!!! Absolutely no parking. We had to go 5+ blocks away. They charged for safe, refrigerator and if available parking.

Where to start-got woken up at 12.30am by drunken guy banging on our door-room phone not working so couldnt call reception. Went to complain and asked night porter to get security-none in the hotel-finally got him to phone police after arguing. My wife was shaken up-god knows if females on their own. No formal appology from the hotel.
Definitely not a 4 star property-no tea-coffee in the room-15 euros a day to use hotel car park. Anyway the list goes on-would not recommend this hotel-the only good thing was the location.

For the price, it was great. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The only negative was that I couldn’t find info on what was/wasn’t included in full board prior to arrival. Basically, no drinks are included. Not even water.

Hotel was nice, some lovely rooms, some mediocre ones, I got the latter even though there was only a nominal difference in the price paid by my friend and I, reception explained this was because we had used different booking sites.Food was good, plenty of selection every day, no complaints there!we went off season so it was very quiet, nothing offered by way of entertainment, but there was a large party of senior citizens at the time so maybe they were catered to?Short walk to both beach and shops, (and Port a Ventura, during season!)I would certainly return here.

Nice quiet hotel 2 mins walk from small beach cove. Short walk away from main salou beach. Room was nice and spacious 3 beds (1double 2 single) in our standard room. Small patio with chairs also. Only downside to room is can hear toilets being flushed on rooms beside and above which are quite loud. Breakfast buffet was good with a lot of options avaliableSpa in the hotel was good too including steam room, sauna, ice bucket, hot swim pool, and various showers and settings worth it for the 2hours if raining outside. We didnt stay in for entertainment however had posters up for live music, and bingo and games throughoit the day.Hotel occupied by mostly spanish/french elderly but was a nice atmosphere and relaxing.

We arrived at the salou park 1 hotel early, and were surprised to find the room was ready. The balcony overlooked the pool, and the lovely sandy cove, which has a wooden walkway that leads to a long beach with sports. The town centre has everything you need for a lively holiday, or just a short walk away there is a quieter part with fountains and relaxing scenery.

We spent 4 days of a 6 day trip to Salou in Port Aventura. I had read bad reviews of the Port Aventura hotels (long queues at reception, check in, breakfast) and I am glad to say we had none of that for a lower price a the Salou Park. Reception was always available and helpful. The hotel is also 20 seconds away from a bus stop for Barcelona, Port Aventura and other places, and close to both beaches in Salou. Breakfast was great in terms of quality and choice and always easy to find a spot in the restaurant at any time.

Stayed at the hotel for a family half term trip. Hotel staff very good and attentive. It was towards the end of the season so the resort and town were quiet.

Stayed for 5 nights in October with family. Booked a suite which was excellent with 2 rooms and large bathroom with modern walk in shower. Hotel and rooms were spotlessly clean and serviced every day. Food was excellent and varied. Have stayed several times before and will stay again in the future.

I took my two children (11 & 16) for 3 nights in late October. There's been a few dodgy reviews about this place but I found it grand apart from maybe a few things.
Pros:
Pools - there are two pools though only one was open but it was all that was needed off-season. However you will see women that shouldn't wear bikinis and men that shouldn't be smuggling small birds.
Wifi - There is good wifi in the lobby and pool area.
Bar - Good sized bar and good service, reasonably priced drinks aswell.
Cons:
Breakfast - Wasn't great. The kids hardly ate it. Definitely wouldn't be enjoyed by Irish or British people. I ate it cos I'm a hungry hoor and it was free.
Wifi - Poor wifi in our room. We named an area of our room "Wifi Corner" as it was the only place you could get it, if you stood on a chair and said a prayer to the Wifi God.
Sound insulation between rooms - I have no desire to listen to the person next door peeing. When I say person, it could have been a horse, your man went on that long.......

hotel receptionist not very pleasant when we approached desk, dinners cold, and breakfasts cold, other guests told us to heat them up in microwave like they would do,one guest told me not to put milk in our teas as they were cool enough without it,as for the room,we would of liked tea making facillities in it,instead of having to go to the bar to buy some, didnt like the idea of hiring the remote control or the safety deposit box,or the fridge, there was one good thing about the hotel,it was clean, the hotel seemed to be very proud of their four stars,im still wondering how they were awarded them, last thing was we thought the hotel was closer to the beach but it was away up a hill,we know it was cheap, but we have stayed in excellant hotels for as cheap as that.
