We stay here every year at Christmas time to go shopping. It’s a great hotel. We did notice that housekeeping was slipping a bit this time. Stuff not restocked. We had to get coffee pods and paper cups because they weren’t replenished in between guests. The pillows were not as comfortable as they usually are. Didn’t feel “hotel quality” at all. Little things that could be improved on. Will stay again.

Not impressed with the renovations. We have been staying at this hotel for years and enjoyed the room feel, comfort, function, and charm. It seems Marriott made some "upgrades" and cheaped out over function and comfort. Whoever was in charge of selecting furniture gets a prize for finding the most uncomfortable "couch" ever - like sitting on a cement block. They also chose to get rid of box springs in favor of a wooden platform that extends just the right amount to ensure you whack your shin every time you walk around the bed. Now I have some nice bruises to remember my trip by. The wardrobe is too small and the desk chair is a weird unadjustable, uncomfortable reclined design. New doors to the room are set to default slam mode so forget about sleeping in as other guests filter out in the morning. Slam. Slam. Doze back off. Slam. I feel bad for kids and anyone under 5 feet tall trying to reach the toiletries in the shower bolted to the wall too high. I appreciate Marriott's attempts at sustainability and I am happy to reuse towels, but there is only one towel rack big enough for a bath towel. Another annoyance at this site is that they removed the hot tub and evidently have to intention of replacing it. Just bad reno choices overall. The room was clean and the staff was helpful getting me all the things I needed (more coffee, towels, and pillows). We typically stay here at least a couple times a year. We'll probably try someplace else next time.

The stay was good close to everything however the pictures for the room is not true it shows the room is separate and has a door and a living room but nope it is just a small room all together and the photos show a jacuzzi and there is no jacuzzi and no ice machines on any floor you have to go to the 1st floor and they charge for the washer and dryer, all the Marriott’s we have stayed was free washer and dryer, for the price we will never stay at this one please update photos and you can hear everything in the hallways won’t stay again but the girls at the front desk were amazing customer service was great,

Bed was somewhat comfortable, room was extremely hot and AC could not keep up. Checkout is at 12:00pm, received a phone call at 9:30am stating maintenance workers would be entering our room at 10:00am, for an undetermined amount of time, to fix something. We did not have a choice, they were coming in whether we were there or not.

When we got there, our room had been double booked. We then found out the whole hotel was under construction and that the pool and hot tub were unavailable for use, this was very disappointing to two teenagers and an 8 year old. They also had no cots for us to use as the room the gave us was smaller than the one we booked. All in all it was a nightmare. Good thing I have a great family who made the best of it. 10/10 would not recommend.

We booked this hotel solely based on the fact that they have 24 hour shuttle service to the airport. When we check in we are told that the shuttle guy doesn’t come in until 330 so we would be late getting to the airport. Consequently we had to get an Uber to the airport and spent $50. Also, for our return trip we arrive back in to Portland at 1am and will have to get another Uber spending another $50. The ice machine was directly beside our room and we could hear it all night. And then to top it all off they don’t even have coffee available for their guests. We were VERY DISSATISFIED with our stay

Hotel staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. The pool was out of order during our stay but the staff accommodated us and our three children with a swim over at the hotel just across from our hotel. Even during renovations, the noise was not an issue! Great stay!

Fire alarm went off. You can hear everything in hallway. 1 “ gap at bottom of hallway door. Not sure if that’s by state building code or what. But has to contribute to noise levels. Also warm on 4th floor. Had to turn on air conditioning in early March to keep temperature down.

Was so amazing.. we went for a funeral stay and everyone was so kind and welcoming, the Christmas decorations was just enough, the card on the stand was thoughtful! We will be back. The food at the cafe was yummy.

At the cafe in the lobby worked a man named Patrick. What a wonderfully genuine gentleman. My family, five of us, had 3 rooms on the same floor. We were up from MA and NC for a funeral due to the Maine mass shooting. Our niece’s husband was killed. Patrick made us feel so comfortable and well-cared for. We looked forward to seeing him the next morning. He felt like a family member before we left. I will say that you have a GEM in this man. He is a worker! He was running around serving people like his pants were on fire…and he had a smile on his face the whole time. Give this man a raise!! Seriously! He’s the reason people would look to stay at your Portland Airport location.
