Great location. Twin room was spacious and comfortable. Very quiet. Supermarket, shops , bars very close. Ice machine, vending machines, washing machines .Excellent stay! On limousine bus route - highly recommended to make journey from airport easy!

Good service. English speaking front desk.
luggage storage prior to check in time. QR code to check in via kiosk at 3pm.
Good location to Shinjuku station and Bus terminal. In fact very convenient to use expressway bus than to navigate thru the complicated Shinjuku station exits.
Family mart and Macdonalds are nearby.
Lots of room amenities for self service at lobby, including face mask and skin care products. Luggage weighing machine is at lobby. H/e room size & toilet is small. If you are out the whole day, no issue. Will choose this hotel if I visit Tokyo again.

My first stay was with a family of two adults and one infant. This time, we traveled as two adults and two children, which required booking two rooms. Unfortunately, the hotel does not offer connecting rooms, but we were provided with rooms next to each other, which was convenient.
What I love most about this hotel is its excellent location near Shinjuku and the fantastic breakfast buffet spread. However, the rooms are quite small—even for one adult and one child—leaving little space for luggage. A helpful workaround is to store luggage under the bed.

"Self check in" was fairly simple once i was assisted by staff. Location was pretty good for our needs with train station, convenience store & McDonalds steps away. Hotel was clean and well maintained. Hotel room was fairly small but thats as expected. Husband and i were in a Semi-Double Room and bed up against a wall which was a bit difficult to climb in/out. Bed was on the firmer side, so were the pillows but bedding was comfortable. Combo Washer/Dryer units were on every (or almost every) floor. Some accepted Suica card for payment or great way to get rid of excess coin! (Drying will take multiple cycles) Progress of wash or unit availability can be found on TV in room. Hotel is on the Airport Limousine Bus route and very easy to book return onsite. In the case of a later flight, hotel staff will hold your suitcases after checkout. There was always a security guard/hotel staff manned out front which was comforting, but we never felt the area to be unsafe.

Hotel is clean. Need to work on the check in process as guests have to wait. Front desk staff need to work on being courteous to their guests. Staff are a bit rude when asked questions.

Very convenient n easy access for transport, restaurants and shopping.

Customer service and hotel were both really excellent! Close to the local train station. I’d stay here again if I visit Tokyo again in the future,

Stay was fine, but room is too small. We also don’t like the bed being accessible only from two sides. Difficult to get in or out of bed for one person.

We enjoyed our stay at Sunroute mostly for the convenience of it so close to Shinjuku JR line and the subway entrance right next door, and the limousine bus picks up from right outside back to airport. The hotel room is a typical room size for Tokyo but the bed was very comfortable and offered all essential amenities. Everything was very efficient from check in to luggage services to laundry. Only stayed 2 nights, would definitely stay again!

I have been to quite a few hotels but the services here stand out above the rest!
As I noticed there were many customers looking for help for self serve kiosks and there were two girls speaking English trying their best to help👍 and they were extremely helpful and courteous!

I need of upgrade but very friendly staff

JR & subway stations, as well as shops like Yodobashi are all in walking distance. The bathroom is clean but seems a bit old. Overall a very good hotel for foreign travelers!

Only good thing is location, small room, minimum service and room quality, not recommended.

We stayed here 5 years ago and it does not seem to be updated. Checkin and out were automated. We love the location and it was convenient with the Airport Limousine stop.

Great location for those trying to explore Tokyo. Located right next to shinjuku station and one of the stops on the airport bus. You get dropped off and picked up on hotel property. You can buy tickets on site at the airport and a qr code at the hotel. The room has storage under the bed to make up for the smaller room sizes in Tokyo which was a huge bonus as we had come with suitcases ready to bring home soviniers. The staff is helpful and has amenities for free on site incase you forgot something. It is in the quieter less busy side of Shinjuku station, but alot of really amazing restaurants nearby.

My hotel room was dirty. There were dirt stains everywhere. For the price we paid over 300 a night I would stay somewhere else. I don’t understand all the rave reviews of this place.

Location is excellent, Shinjuku Station is just a few minutes walk.

Hotel was wonderful and helpful, I had broken my ankle on vacation and they had a wheelchair and shower chair available to use! VERY helpful!

Location 5 minute walk from the train station. Bed was so uncomfortable we couldn’t sleep.

Location is good. Very convenient, airport limousine to hotel vice versa. Very good.

Very enjoyable, helpful staff, great location

Washing machine not enough, people always leave their clothes inside for long time, but because they are still wet, staff refused to remove them.
Room size is ok, lots of skincare available at lobby, e.g cleasing oil, toner, emulsion, mask and bath salt, etc.
Underground Parking is available, plenty of space.
Walking distance to lots of restaurants, eg. ramen, izakaya, cafe

Pros:
1) Cleanliness: The entire facility and rooms are very clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable environment.
2) Whole-House Water Purification System: The hotel has a water purification system, ensuring that all the water inside is delicious and safe to drink.
3) Well-Stocked Amenities: The hotel offers a variety of amenities, including razors, hair wax, bath additives, instant coffee, and tea bags, making for a convenient and pleasant stay.
Cons:
1) Identification Requirement: During my check-in, despite being Japanese, I was asked to present my passport. I believe it would be acceptable to use a driver's license or another form of ID. It felt excessive to require a passport, especially since I may have mentioned that I live overseas. Other hotels I stayed at did not require a passport or driver's license from me as a Japanese citizen, which was more convenient.
2) Room Size: The double bed room felt a bit small. A little more space would have made for a more comfortable stay.
3) Limousine Bus Schedule: Although there is a limousine bus service, the timing did not align with my flight, which meant I had to leave the hotel the day before my flight. It would have been great to stay another night at Hotel Sunroute Plaza Shinjuku if the bus schedule matched my flight.

This was probably the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. There was peoples hair on the pillows, the towels did not dry our body and overall just a bizarre experience.

Overall not bad. Have stay there few times before. Seeing the facilities a bit worn out but not surprise with number of people living in this building everyday. Would rate a 4.5 out of 5. Location is very convenient.
