This Villa is truly amazing. It was everything we hoped for. James and Annie and staff took care of every need. The property is clean and huge.
If i were to say anything for feedback is that we had no blankets for the bed. It is tropical and perhaps for most, no blankets are required. But i needed more than a sheet. With air on it did get cool at night. So we used a towel to add additional cover. But thats just us, as Canadians. It would have been nice to have the option.
The food was amazing and staff service impeccable. The pool is glorious! Villa is situated so nothing is too far.
Thank you for a memorable trip

Arma Museum & Resort is our home in Bali Ubud. Always very nice to return and expire the unik gardens with its culture.

The hotel, it's grounds, our room and the staff were excellent. And the breakfast was truly amazing. The only recommendation would be for them to add more variety to their lunch and dinner menus. It's a great place to stay and a sanctuary from a hustle and bustle of Ubud.

The staff took personal pride in their beautiful resort. Highly recommended! Very lovely garden, museum, and artists to watch working. At night, the gamelan music coming over rice fields is magic

Lovely property... It's enormous but doesn't give that impression due to the clever use of foliage and terracing. Very artistic and lively statues everywhere. The bathroom is a bit dated and could use an upgrade.
Staff very friendly and helpful.

The setting is superb, with a river running by, two places to eat, and beautiful walks in the property. But it is impossible to go very far from ones room without climbing two ot three flights of steps, which is a bit daunting if you arrive after dark, as we did. The staff were always there to carry cases and to be helpful throughout our visit.

We stayed in the (cheaper) modern part of the resort. Lots of walking and stairs which may not suit some people. There was a shower but no bath. The grounds are this resort's best feature and the pool was gorgeous, right next to a rice paddy. Our room was comfortable and clean. It offers a quiet haven of respite from Ubud's busy tourist bustle. On the downside, the resort has an impersonal feel and I was disappointed with the included breakfast - tiny serves and unimaginative presentation. I had hoped for a better breakfast menu considering the star rating. We went elsewhere for other meals.

Overall, the ARMA is beautiful! Grounds are incredible and the museum is a gem. The rooms were a bit rustic for the price. There were lots of bugs and sometime particles dropping from the straw ceilings. The breakfast was a delicious buffet and the shuttle to Ubud Center is much appreciated!

We had an amazing stay with the most friendly and welcoming staff. We felt right at home, and had a beautiful view of rice fields and pool sorrounded by jungle like nature. It was just beautiful, and we couldn’t have asked for more. Very comfortable bed, and nice breakfast with a small but nice variety.

Very nice site and large infrastructures. The rooms could use a bit of renovation. Great to have access to various amenities including the museum which is worth visiting. Two restaurants with food local and international. Good. Breakfast buffet could be improved but decent

The hotel resort is very beautiful and the staff very friendly.
However, unfortunately it's not very clean (for example, tea cups in room were only wiped with the bare hand and "blown out"

Jaw dropping room which if it had wi-fi and a more conveniently located toilet would be very hard to beat

We came the Arma hotel on our honeymoon. We were first shown to a deluxe room and were quite disappointed, but as we explained we were on honeymoon and politely disappointed we were quickly upgraded to an absolutely beautiful room with possibly the best bathroom ive ever seen (definitely worth paying extra for the better rooms). The gallery and grounds are spectacular for the creative minded - full of inspiration and quiet places to think, draw, carve etc. We highly recommend the Golden Hour tour with own Agung Rai. Learned so much about the beautiful culture and island of Bali.

stayed at the Arma the 4th time. Booked Delux room to get terrace with daybed (only room 801+803 have them now!) They tried at first to give us the new renovated rooms but they only share a terrace with 4 other rooms. Breakfast is a la card and very limited/restricted (eg. only fruit OR fruit juice) it`s still a beautiful hotel & very peaceful but it lost the special service and extra touch it used to have. Also Neighbor is building right next to room 803/801 a large house - currently building noise and it will spoil the few when finish.

Relaxing hotel with great balinese entertainment and beautiful gardens and art museum.

The hotel part of the resort is being upgraded but the villas are well away from any construction noise. The suite villa is gorgeous, huge pool and generous private garden, and views of the adjacent rice field and surrounding gardens. The interior consists of a large bed/sitting room (with king size bed, floral arrangments and orchids), a dressing room and separate bathroom with mezzzanine viewing area (pretty carved panels and comfy sofa). The grounds of the resort are huge and beautiful - full of hindu statues and water features and contiguous with the adjacent museum. There are two restaurants and a coffee shop - all good and free afternoon tea by the main pool (with wifi). We had a thoroughly peaceful and luxurious stay and considered it excellent value.

Our stay at the ARMA was pure magic. We loved the opportunity to soak up Balinese culture through the museum setting and the excellent staff members. The Golden Hour Tour with Mr. Agung Rai ties all the threads together. Very relaxing, very educational, and very wonderful from the gardens, dining, room stays, and most importantly, the gracious staff. We will return again and again to support the projects and plans of the ARMA for the community.

we fell in love with this hotel and it's setting the moment we arrived. the room was large and well cooled. there were no televisions in the rooms, so guests tend to gather at the pool and/or common areas and visit with other guests from all over the world. the staff is gracious and the buffet breakfast is fine. a truly wonderful place to spend a few wonderful days in Ubud.
4.0
Our stay was very pleasant- great value for money and comfortable. There were many staff in attendance and all were patient, extremely helpful and proficient. Lush, large grounds which sometimes felt as if they we're your own private garden. Nice sitting by the pool for afternoon tea while reading and the breakfast was modest but tasty. Didn't get to try the cafe or restaurant but Ubud has too many great places to eat. The museum was a nice surprise - cool, expansive and covers much of Bali's Art history with exhibits on Walter Spies and 'Ubud Prince' Dr. A.A. Madé Djelantik as well as contemporary artists such as I Made Sumadiyasa. Large rooms, bed comes with mosquito net and mosquito coil although we had no problems (mid-June). The only minor problem was that our shower head would inadvertently flood the floor of our room but that was cleaned up without any issues. Overall a great place to retreat to after a day explring Ubud or the surrounds.
