The hotel had bed bugs. They had no more rooms available at 1 am and I had to send me to another hotel (late in the night) I barely slept and I had to wash my hair late in the night in the new hotel and I discovered some bites in my body of those bed bugs. Was a terrible experience

Hotel Bilbi is a serviceable option in Bilbao. The desk staff is friendly and has lots of recommendations. They have parking spots in a garage across the street. The rooms are not fancy, but they are clean and would work in most circumstances. We had a lovely view of Bilbao from our room on the 8th floor, and we were close to the old quarter. It worked for one night. If you are visiting in summer, you should know that the air conditioning doesn't work well: you have to have your key in the wall to operate it, which means the room has been closed up without air all day and, thanks to the weak air stream into the room when turned on, it takes forever to cool it down. When we arrived, it was nearly 40 C outside and the room wasn't much cooler. Even after having the air conditioning on all night, our room was maybe 28 C. But this is only a consideration in a summer heat wave.

It is a very simple hotel room that I just needed for staying a night. The amenities are very minimum so I suggest to bring your own such as shampoo, soap, etc even thought there are few provided. I was glad that I happened to have it. If you come by yourself staying for the first time, it would be better come back earlier time or take a ride that brings you back directly.

This was a great location for a 3 day stop in Bilbao. The staff were amazing. Our check in guy gave us great hints and information on where to go and where to eat. Parking was easy in covered parking across the road for €15 per day. Room on 8th floor was good with a covered balcony. Only issue was there was no fridge and the wi fi was very weak.

Good location and easy to walk to downtown! Some steep but short streets to get to the hotel. Room very clean and bed and pillow very comfy! Quiet and safe neighborhood!! We rented a car and the hotel has spots (15€ a day) in a garage across the street!

Just a little gem, in the corner of great city. San Francisco St. has some awesome shops and cafes in and around Jatetxea Restaurant best veggie food in town (in a steakhouse!). Ok it's not a 5 star experience but for the price, this hotel and the location can't be beat.

The hotel was ok, close to the old town. The area was not so good or beautiful but for the price wasn’t too bad. The AC works great in the room. The rooms need to be updated but it was clean. The only issue was that we booked for 4 people and they gave us a room with 3 twin beds. My 8 years old kid had to sleep with me in a twin bed

Nice hotel located close to the old town with nice bars and small restaurants. Short walk to the main river then another 15-20min walk to silver art gallery people go to. Parking in the area is chargeable during most of the day via meter.

For a 2 star hotel the facilities were fine. Room was a reasonable size with good air conditioning. Corridor to the room was a bit off putting with exposed services above. Breakfast was not available as there were no facilities at all for breakfast.

The check in process was simple, and the staff extremely helpful with information about the local area, transport, places to visit, etc. The hotel itself is not in the most desirable area of Bilbao, with what appears to be the local red light district on the doorstep, but if you walk just a couple of minutes and cross the river, you are into the old town which is far more pleasant, with lots of bars and restaurants.

convenient location, just a street off the river in the old town, ideal for exploring the beautiful Bilbao, lots of pintxos bars around, especially the good selection in La Ribera Market, comfortable beds, quite street, lots of information provided at reception for anything that you might need to know, would recommend for your weekend break
