An excellent cozy room with a mountain view from the veranda with the room.
The amenities are also well-equipped. You can make tea or coffee anytime on your own or go to the reception floor from 7 am - 9 pm coffee and tee is available, free of charge.
You can also view outside from the cafeteria’s veranda with a relaxed chair.
This hotel is very close to Grindelwald station, only less than a 3-5 min walk. Many shops are around, as well as cable car access.

Everything was very good, staff friendlyness, breakfast, location.
But only one tiny table fan on the top floor which gets direct sun light. It was unbearable to stay during noon. We can only go back after sun down. People don’t need fancy lights when they are suffocating in heat. When i asked for extra fan, i was told only one tiny table fan per room. With a toddler we were forced to go somewhere outside though we paid like $900 for two night.

This is a hotel just a couple of minutes walk from the train station and just across from the bus terminal. The rooms are well appointed with a fridge, hot water kettle and a table fan. The staff is extremely helpful and gave us excellent suggestions for excursions. There is a coffee machine in the lounge and there is an elevator
Can get a bit noisy due to location. Take a room on a higher floor with mountain views

Great hotel, located near the station, and very relaxing atmosphere.

Overall the hotel was clean and had a good complimentary breakfast.
The room has a small closet but is not large enough to create adequate walking space with large suitcases. We stayed in July in a standard, non balcony room, and noticed right away the room gets quite warm quickly. You can crack open the window slightly from the top, but does not open any further. Unfortunately, it does not create a lot of space for airflow to come in compared to other hotels we stayed at throughout Switzerland. The hotel does provide a small fan that can rest on the table, but is not felt throughout the room even at the highest setting.
The bed, room, and bathroom are clean, but the bed was so firm it left us feeling sore in our back after each night, and we’re in our early 30’s. We recommend asking for additional pillows as you’re only provided 1 pillow per twin bed and they become flat quickly once you lay down.
The location is ideal right next to the train station and a quick walk to the city center.
We’d be open to staying again, but only in a balcony room where air can flow through adequately. We would not recommend a standard room to others if your budget/prices are below the balcony prices.

This is a very nice place. Located in a central place, close to almost everything, especially the train station. The beautiful mountain is right outside, especially a great view from the balcony.
The staff is excellent, very friendly and helpful.
The breakfast is awesome! The best one we had on our European trip. And the girl who takes care of the breakfast is so sweet and nice, always makes sure to say "Goodbye" when you are leaving.
I loved this place. It's a great value, especially the breakfast.
I would definitely stay here when we return.

Hotel was super close to train station, so location was excellent. Unfortunately we were there in mid august and with no AC, the rooms were brutally hot, even with a fan. Breakfast was adequate and staff were all super sweet. The rooms were tiny and the bathrooms even smaller. You couldn’t put the bath mat down until you stood in the shower to close the door. The sink is in the bedroom as bathrooms too small.
We had one issue with the power outlet failing so our fridge didn’t function, which was an issue as we had meat and cheese for sandwiches in there. I called for an extension cord, but was told to check all the outlets for fuse switches. The failed one didn’t have one, so I ran the cord to another outlet above the sink, as I had no other option.
Beds were comfortable and would have been perfect if it weren’t so hot and stuffy in there. You couldn’t keep the curtains open to allow any breeze in as light and bugs from outside kept flying in.
Views from balcony were gorgeous. I would stay again as long as it wasn’t in summer.

The hotel is VERYconveniently located! We got off the train and as described on the website, I walked across the street and I saw the hotel! Loved it—breakfast was fabulous!

The hotel is literally 2 mins walk to the train station, and few mins away to First. The grocery Coop is just 2 mins walk from the hotel too. The breakfast was so good and dining area has a great view of mt. Eiger. It was raining the days we stayed and we were so blown away how amazing the view of mountain with clear sky and with fog from the front of this hotel. The room feels more like the area because it is designed with all wood from wall to ceiling and floor. The bathroom yet small but so cute. I am so happy staying in these hotel and will definitely recommend this place to everyone. The staff are so courteous, accomodating, nice and friendly.

Hotel was close to the railway station, which is convenient if you have luggage. Views of mountains from the terrace when they are not clouded over. My room on the 4th floor was quiet. Hotel is kept in good condition. Breakfast excellent. Receptionists were helpful.

Grindelwald is gorgeous! I had a room of Eiger mountain, which I recommend. The hotel is super conveniently located next to the train station and in the town center. Lots of options with this as your home base. It's feels more like a lodge, clean and head manager very helpful.

Room was spacious and clean. Location just 1min walk from train and bus station. Good breakfast spread. Friendly staff.
3.0
The hotel staff are nice and helpful, location is great as
nearby the train station. Also hotel provides free coffee, tea and hot water outside the breakfast hours. However, it is extremely noisy during the night time, the bar / restaurant downstairs keep playing music until mid-night.
