Very convenient hotel. You cannot ask for more at that price, even a kitchen with a small sink+fridge and a coffee maker.

Your receptionist Marketa was quite professional on day of check in which made my stay enjoyable. My suggestion would be to have more tables for guests at breakfast time, also, perhaps extend the length of time for breakfast as everyone seemed to be there at 8.30am. I would also like to thank Monica for her kindness.

The hotel was clean and quiet. It was easy to get into the Old Town of Brno because the bus stop was right outside the hotel and the bus ride was 15 minutes or less. The staff were helpful and friendly. Always willing to go out of their was to help. The buffet breakfast was more than enough. It offered a variety of food...some hot, some cold. It made our stay just wonderful!!

First let me say that the pictures that are shown on the website don't do this hotel justice. This is one amazing hotel! The rooms are super clean, the staff is super nice and helpful, the overall hotel is very nice and quite and gives a warm and cozy feel. There is a covered parking area right next to the hotel, in the back yard which is not visible on the pictures. The breakfast is excellent, which is also not entirely visible on the pictures, with a large variety of hot and cold dishes. The coffee is super tasty and available throughout the day (huge plus). There is a large shopping mall next to is, with a huge Tesco store. It takes about 20 minutes of easy and scenic walk through Park Luzansky to get to downtown, or about 6Euro for a cab - keep in mind that the Euro is not a currency in the Czech Republic and you need to exchange money - exchange store also available in the mall with a good exchange rate.

This was just a stop over on our way to Vienna. The hotel was fine. The rooms had lots of extra amenities like a fridge, small kitchen area and large entry. However, it is it an odd location and a bit dated. There is secure parking available. The front desk staff were helpful. It was a great economical stay that met our needs

Nice, clean hotel with free parking aside.Gates closes for the night. A small mall in the neighbor just few steps from hotel. Taxi is cheap to city center but you may also take a bus near by. Personnel seemed very busy but handled matters ok. Breakfast quite standard and ok. A/C was great as it was very hot outside.

Hotel was good. All amenities were in place. The room was comfy and had good space. The bathroom was separate and also had heated floors. There is also a small sink and microwave in the room. Breakfast was good with varied choice. Parking was complementary and there is a big mall with food court next to hotel. All was good but our biggest issue we found is that we could hear the next room tenants speak clearly and that is a big problem since we are light sleepers. Therefore the rating.

Clean rooms, good breakfast, professional staff. I would definitely recommend this place for stay.

The room was dusty, not clean enough. The toilet in teribble condition, so filthy and disgusting. They don’t clean the rooms every day. They just have hired one person for making breakfast and cleaning the whole hotel. So she is cook and cleaner at the same time and obviously have not enough time and energy to put into cleaning. Even when we complained and asked for cleaning, the cleaner spent 5 min in bathroom just sparying without proper cleaning and still filthy. It was pointless to ask again so we let it go counting the days to leave. By the way, no room service every day just the first day we arrived. No coffee, no sugar, no tea,...The room are much smaller in reality than the display images. You can hardly move. It looked like a 2 star hotel. The bed and the pillows were super uncomfortable. I would not recommend this “hotel” to anybody, the worst experience ever.

Overall the hotel is very good but the staff are excellent, I even change my room due to air condition problem and the owner brought me a big bottle of wine for the cause of inconvenience, receptionist are wonderful, I extended two more days over my plan.

The Hotel Vaca is a short transit to and from old town but the stop is very close to the Vaca. This hotel might be a bit out of the way but it was really clean, comfortable and quiet with a solid breakfast.
Check in was smooth with the receptionist able to give a recommendation for dinner that proved perfect for us.
We were only here one night but would recommend it.

If this hotel was located a litlle bit closer to center, it would be superb.
At the check-out we forgat to pay, but with polite e-mail communication hotels staff give as time to return home and pay after we receive invoice.

Realistically speaking, at the reasonable price that we paid one should not expect valet service nor waiters with white gloves on nor discotek. You will have to look elsewhere for that, but you would also have to pay much much more! This is a no frills hotel, but what it does offer....it offers it well. Clean comfortable room, friendly helpful staff and an above average breakfast buffet offering a nice variety of fresh breakfast food; coffee was great. The location is great offering a large shopping center; it is also relatively close to the city center. Outside parking was great and carefully thought out as it has a roof to protect one's car and oneself against rain, snow etc.
The one criticism that I can offer is the lack of an iron and ironing board for clothes in one's room for those who absolutely must have wrinkle free clothes.

1 night tour stop as base to see Brno historic centre and castle. Great service reception and really good room. Good value and good breakfast. Highly recommend. Also restaurant Neam Arch just 100 metres was fabulous quality and style, and get 10% off.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. The location was very close to town and restaurants. The center of town was about a 20 minute walk. The hotel staff gave me map of the city and made sure I knew how to get to where I wanted to go. They also recommended sites to see. When I commented on the distance to walk to the center of town, they pointed out that there was a bus that stopped 1 block away, and told me what bus number to take. The staff were all very exceptional in my opinion. I speak a little Czech, but the staff were able to speak english and helped me to have a wonderful time. I would definitely stay there again. When I asked about a laundry mat to wash my clothes, they offered to do my laundry for me in the hotel services. They washed, dried and folded my clothes for me at no extra charge..My praise to all of the staff.

I'm a merchant mariner and have to travel around a lot. This is by far one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. I was here in December before the holidays, it's close to the city center where you can go see all sorts of festivals and events by walking or a short taxi or tram ride that are very inexpensive. There are several cool landmarks and monuments to see nearby like the Cairn of Peace after Napoleon's battle at Austerlitz and underground caves you can take a your of via boat. At the hotel itself parking is secure with several covered spaces and the heated bathroom floor was a nice surprise. The staff is very friendly, welcoming, and helpful, the best. If you're getting off the main highway nearby (we were coming from Prague) it's a bit difficult to find because some bushes at the roundabout there hide the hotel from view. I'm writing this just before going to go back for another stay a couple days longer now.

Don't be put off by the location or look of this hotel, it is a little gem, the staff are lovely and service is great. Would love to visit you again.

This is a place for young travelers who are in town for sporting events. It's located next to a major sports stadium and a 24-hour Tesco store (think Walmart). The only other people over 25 in the whole hotel (including the reception and staff people) were another American couple, who probably reserved online, too. It's kind of a fascinating building, though, with curving walls and 1960's "modern" decor.
