This hotel is conveniently located near the entrance to the city. The pool was nice. The room was a bit basic, with little annoying quirks (squeaky shower door, etc). Staff was outwardly friendly but not as hospitable as others we encountered during our travels.

Close to the city
Car parking and great view

Ideally located to visit the historic centre of Siena. Our room had superb views over the city and was comfortable. The hotel has a good sized pool and sun lounger area. Onsite car parking was useful. Good breakfast choices were provided.
The staff were welcoming and very helpful.

One of the best Tucany vacations, we stayed in this grest hotel just outside the wall of Siena for 11 days time to explore the city and every other day a one day trip in Tuscany, the best way to travel around without going to different hotels. The staff was great and the many resatsurants and bars we went were all great. We will do this next year again

Great location, great view of the town center from our room, walkable to town center within 5 minutes. Good breakfast buffet. Very firm bed. Easy check-in / check out. Friendly staff. Great value for the price! LOVED Siena!!!

Very good location. Close to the city center.

Staff, particularly the owner were very negative. Also, the place did not at all match the pictures, our room was way older in person than the pics online. The whirlpool shown in the pictures was not open, even though it was inside. We asked about the whirlpool and we're almost mocked for asking. We had several surprisingly unpleasant encounters with the owner. Some of the staff were very nice.

Very close to the old town, the Piazza del Campo and to the Duomo.
Very close to an excellent bakery where we could buy the locally made Ricciarelli!

A well run family property where caring and service run side by side, this is my second visit in two years and happy to return again.Caring owner with hands on he is always available to talk or helpful suggestions
Excellent pool facility and very good breakfast with loads of choices and abundant in quality and amounts.
a very good choice I highly recommend

The hotel is located outside of the city wall with free parking and a pool.
The room is sufficient.
There are eagles and ducks in this world
Eagles always find a satisfying solution, ducks do things the way say are told.
It is easy to differentiate
If you go to a shop and you look for skrews and you ask a worker who is talking to a customer- where the aisle for skews is:
Eagle tell you third aisle on the right, duck will tell you can you not see I am talking.
I woke up from the crow of the rooster and a perfect smell of a croissant. Little after 7 o clock I went to the breakfast room. Very enthusiastic I told the male worker that I woke up with this fantastic smell of warm and fresh croissant. I asked him if it is possible to have one. He told me - breakfast is at 7:30 o clock. I asked politely a second time - but the answer remained the same.
I had to realize I was dealing with a duck

Loved how easy it was to communicate with them. Perfect location. In new town, close to train station, beach, restaurants and bars. Easy nice walk to old town for exploring, shopping and dining. Staff was lovely. Room is so quiet and comfortable. Breakfast buffet is outstanding, with eggs, meats and anything else you could want. Love it!

Beautiful views of the town and easy to reach town gates. A filling continental breakfast buffet.

The staff were all wonderful and helped in every way needed. The hotel is rather tired though and the walls thin so we could hear next door’s tv every night! There is a super swimming pool, a gym and a hot tub which wasn’t working - a real shame.

This hotel is a 3 star hotel and I think it is a fair rank. 5 mins from city walls then about 800 to Main square.
Pros :
Staff very friendly & helpful- we asked for 2 wine glasses and they also offered a bottle opener . Put straight into our room. They were very happy for us to picnic on site or have own drinks in the covered tables outside areas. This was perfect for us as we bought nibbles from local deli and wine from vineyards we visited. Perfect view over the city and a lot greener than inside the city wall.
Cons -
Pool was closed and will re open in June . However, it would bee wonderful if they had a seating area open by the pool as it stunning

In general this can be a fine hotel. Located out of the walled area, but very close to a gate, 10 min walk from tge "Best Gelata in the World", at list what the sign says...
However, though tge room.in ib decent size, the view from.the window was amaizing, the bathroon suffered from horrible mold smell. We asked to move a room but told tgat the hotel was fully booked. The solution we were offered, by a very nice staff lady at the reception, was to open tge fan and use an air refresher she had handy, what made us believe that the oroblem was well known before.
We spent 1 night and left.
Breakfast served and it is good and onsite free parking is available which is a great advantage.

Excellent location, within easy walking distance of the main attractions. Really friendly and welcoming staff. Some of the decor was tired and would benefit from renovation - the bathroom fittings in particular, but everything was clean and perfectly functional. Comfortable bed. Very easy parking

not returning for a few years due to covid it was good to see siena again.A new hotel for me run by a delightful family and staff.Breakfast was treat and impeccable attention to details and plentiful.
all went out of their way to please ........I will be happy to return.

No frills, but a nice breakfast and great view. Incredibly friendly and helpful staff.

Great location, good parking, staff super friendly. We had a triple room that was clean and beds comfortable (for a hard bed). Pool great. Air con fabulous. Location just outside the wall was perfect. The free breakfast was the best I’ve ever had. My only comment would be no elevator and the sliding door to the bathroom was partly see through (glass and fogged glass striped) which isn’t convenient for the shy amongst us (and the room is small so you can’t really avoid sitting across from the bathroom). Honestly though overall this is 10/10 I would go again in a heartbeat.

Stanze comode e parcheggio privato, a due passi dal centro. Personale cordiale e amichevole, per una volta ho trovato un caffè/cappuccino come si deve, ottimo!

Location was excellent, however the room was very mediocre, with notable mould in the shower. The bed was extremely hard. Notable smoke smell in the common areas dispute non-smoking signs

Fantastic location in walking distance from the center of Siena. Amazing view from the breakfast room.

Very nice hotel close to Siena squere, nice rom and pool, god breakfast

On the good side, the hotel pool was fine. We had rooms with a balcony and a good view towards the city. Breakfast was ok.
But the walk into and back from town is unpleasant, takes about 15 minutes and is through a rather dark and run-down area. Also each time we came back from the city at about 10:00pm the whole place was shut - no staff anywhere, which was a bit creepy
2.5
From the start the staff was extremely welcoming. They gave nice tips about the city and surroundings. The breakfast was also nice and the guy serving the breakfast was kind too - our last day we had to check out before breakfast, but he offered us the meal anyway. Overall the hotel is a little bit old, but it suits the surroundings. Pool area has the perfect size and view. Gym had the most essential. Would definitely go back and they have my best recommendation.

Very nice stay. Simple and effective

We had a very nice stay. It is walking distance to the wall, square and cathedrals. Recommend!
2.5
Beautiful landscaped grounds and view of the old town of Siena. We were there in November and the pool was closed but this would be a great amenity in the summer. Pool & breakfast room with a fantastic view. Access to the old city is only 250 m away. The owner, Umberto is a charmer and has paid attention to detail with the meticulous upkeep of the hotel and landscaping of the grounds.
2.5
Ideal location for those who have a car and want to stay near the old city.
Family owned and run- excellent recommendations for local "non-touristy" places to eat. Highly recommend. Only downfall is the walls are a bit thin between rooms, but pool is beautiful and location is great.
2.5
location for exploring inside the wall of Siena. This hotel allowed free parking while only a short walk to enter the gate for seeing all of the sights. Good pool....excellent staff that was always helpful.

Enjoyed the view from room. It was wonderful.

Nice location and friendly staff. Stayed only one night but wished I could have stay at least two. Great pool area

Friendly, family-owned site just outside Siena's Porta dei Pispini is very comfortable and even has a great view of the city. I stayed two nights. Breakfast was included and was pretty good. An on-site pool has that nice view. I didn't partake of that or the gym. I booked last-minute and was very satisfied. They have free on-site parking, which was a big deal for me. Room was good sized and fairly comfortable. Bathroom as well. Would definitely stay there again.

Fantastic location, wonderful pool, nice big bed, great breakfast, amazing view of the old town from the room. Perhaps a fan or AC would be nice as it was quite hot even with the window open.

This small hotel is located in walking distance from the city center of Siena. The staff is extremely friendly and efficient. The breakfast was enough and good quality. The room was comfortable and clean, the bathroom would need some renovation though. Overall a very good experience.

Hotel location brilliant, views amazing, pool fantastic. Breakfast very good and staff very welcoming, couldnt ask for more. We will be back
