Nice hotel and would stay there again. Front desk female clerk took a while to get there after ringing the bell and then it appeared she did not want to be there. She wasn't rude, just not inviting. Hot tub needs some cosmetic attention but for the rate the hotel was a good place to stay.

When we arrived there was no hand soap than on Saturday we ran out of bathroom paper cause the only one was the one that was on the roller there wasn’t any more .Somy husband went down and than my daughter to front desk were she and my husband was trying to find anyone for front desk were other people were waiting too .They fondly fond someone after like 30 to 40 minutes.

We had a theme suite in a king bunkbed suite. The theme suite was amazing with the Jacuzzi tub. The king bunkbed room was the same price as the theme suite and we should’ve got two of the themed suites. The pub was closed, even though on the website it says it’s open. The hot tub was out of order and the pool area was not as expected.

I loved this hotel! The decoration in room and throughout hotel was completely charming. Staff at front desk and bar / restaurant were helpful and friendly. Note that bar serves a light menu so you don't really have to go off site - very convenient. Room and shower were terrific. I will go out of my way to stay here again next year.

This was one of the nicest hotels I’ve had the joy in staying in. The room was spacious and comfortable. The lobby and breakfast area were nicely decorated. The pool and whirlpool were clean and unusual. We enjoyed the real eggs at breakfast and the coffee was great too. My only complaint was that there was only one staff member at check in. For such a big hotel, this made for a longer wait.

Incompetent staff. We checked in around midnight and within a couple of hours the same lady checked in another couple to our room. So we were rudely awakened in the middle of the night with people entering our room. I’m traveling with an infant and was terrified and so scared for my and my baby’s safety. Could not sleep for the rest of the night. When we were checking in it was also conveniently left out that we did not get the king room that was booked but a queen room was given.

Right in Downtown with lots of dining options. Even had a farmers market in walking distance. Room was clean and staff interactions were professional. I would stay here again.

Only problem was the pool, kids ages from 11-15, probably at least 15 of them with no parent present, very unruly, loud, rude and unsupervised. Diving, jumping into others, smaller kids were very Leary.

We booked a king suite and were disappointed walking into our room to find two small queen beds. When we went to the desk the clerk said they overbooked online. They were very nice about it, but at least they could have told us at check in. When I pulled up Expedia when I got to the room, it showed king rooms still available.

The room needed dusted but was absoluetly wonderful we got a theme room just like an apartment and wonderful. The breakfast was awsome liked cooked at home and the deck area out back was a great place to relax and our room was quiet and relaxing. And the friendly staff made it easy.

We've been staying here every summer for over 10 years and we do enjoy our stay very much. The staff is friendly and attentive. The housekeeping staff was particularly excellent this visit. A few things, should be addressed. There is huge hole in the awning as you enter the lobby. In the lobby, there is water damage and the ceiling material is peeling and hanging down over the stairs. Lastly, the water pressure of the shower is quite weak.

Overall Stoney Creeks are fantastic! This one needs some maintenance on the hallway fans and the main lobby elevator. It is a touch scary with the doors scrapping and the jitters it has.

Actually was pleased with the hotel in general and enjoyed the location near downtown Sioux City. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and we had no complaints about the room. I would have given the review 5 stars but upon getting settled in the room, I went for ice for the evening. The ice machine on our floor was out of order and the sign said go to second floor or the front desk. I went to second floor and that machine was also not working. I went to first floor and found the machine and it was ALSO not working. 3 ice machines on the property and NONE of them working. Was told by the front desk to go to the bar for ice.l. Shame on management for allowing this situation to occur. NO EXCUSE for this kind of managerial neglect. I overheard a conversation at the desk when checking out that they were getting new ice machines. I hope that is the case.

Supposed to get vip access, hotel doesn't support that. No free drinks coupns,nothing. Our stay here is usually pretty good. And coming from norh dakota its the only aplace we stay when we.xome.to rown. Usually twicee a year.
