Reservation was wrong, staff wasn’t helpful, dinning establishments were not open even though they were heavily advertised, and the room wasn’t clean. Bathroom floor, tub, shower, toilet and sink were covered in hair. Trashcan wasn’t emptied, and every drawer had dirt or hair in it. This was an expensive stay and the hotel didn’t reflect the value.

The stay was wonderful. It was located only a block away from the Orpheum where the concert was held. We had a private balcony which was wonderful. Even though there was a lot of city noise, police sirens and trains, the room remained quiet.

Stayed here while in town for a weekend. The room and bathroom were spacious with a great view of downtown Sioux City! The beds were comfy and well-needed after a long, busy weekend. I highly recommend the rooftop bar (open to the public and not just guests); service is great and the drinks are fantastic. Everything was great and would definitely stay here again.

Overall The Warrior is a beautiful hotel which recalls a prior era of elegance and high standards. Given the expectation of high standards, several minor problems made our visit less pleasant than anticipated. Those issues were: 1) being assigned a room directly across from the elevator when other rooms were available; 2) lack of parking; 3) lack of adequate coffee in the morning (e.g. no espresso bar); 4) hotel dumpsters being emptied at 5:30am directly behind guest rooms.

This property is stunning all throughout! Very comfortable and quiet stay. The pool, spa area was a perfect spot to relax the afternoon away. The balcony was great for relaxing in the evening. The birdcage was the most unexpected feature, and we loved it!

Beautiful appointed rooms. Only downside…parking. They do have onsite parking but between 7-10 pm no parking in the lot due to employees and restaurant patrons. So you either need to not have a couple of cocktails at the bar ( which I do not recommend, Austin’s old fashioned is amazing) or get up around 6 am to make sure you don’t get a parking ticket.

We were in Sioux City for a basketball tournament and stayed at The Warrior only because most of the team, and other teams, were staying there. The goal was for the kids to hang out together on Saturday evening. But the bowling alley was closed, the pool was too small, there was a large wedding event in the hotel, and there was nothing to do in the area, so we spent the evening in our rooms. I booked a double queen but wound up with a single king. My child would have slept on the sofa sleeper but there were weird stains on the mattress and under the sofa itself was filthy. Not worth the price tag.

Beautiful hotel, bad location. The parking was good, the hotel was clean. The only complaints I have is every time the a/c came on in the room it would smell of sewage. There was a coffee maker in the room but no cream or sugar. Would I stay again, probably not. Not for those prices.

We stayed here one night in the one bedroom suite with my girlfriend and adult son to visit family in the area. The one bedroom suite was perfect for our needs. The sofa bed was comfortable for my son and the private bedroom was nice. The bathroom was large and roomy with a TV in the mirror, which we didn’t use. The toilet had a seat warmer and a bidet option. The shower was amazing with a separate detachable wand. There was also a private rooftop patio which was nice. The patio view was looking at the parking ramp across the street and wasn’t great but it was still a nice feature. The hotel itself was really nice and has a bird theme throughout. There was some noise in the hallways and rooms from other families off and on but it eventually got quiet after 11pm. Overall we enjoyed our stay. The location is great with restaurants and shops all around within walking distance.
