Perfect for what we needed.

Check in was good, but the elevator operation is not user friendly. I know guest safety is the reason, but instruction wasn’t clear and then my room key card had to be reprogrammed. All in all, a poor system.

I wanted to not really have to write this review because my overall stay went really well until I arrived home and realized that my leather jacket was not in my suitcase where I had packed it. I notified the hotel and ask them to review camera footage and they played games with me for almost 2 weeks for they told me that a key interrogation revealed that no one had entered my room however housekeeping was in my room both times in the hallway and I believe that somebody entered my room and took my jacket it was a brand new black leather jacket. Management gave me the runaround as far as I'm investigating it and then the final communication was very disrespectful and passive aggressively rude and nasty I do not suggest you stay at this hotel unless absolutely necessary I'm sure there are other ones but my jacket was stolen and it took them a week and a half to tell me that they don't have cameras in the hallways when that's what they should have said initially they will protect their staff and protect their brand and if your things get stolen you will be at a loss so I did not appreciate the whole overall after experience with regards to my stay there they have thieves on staff

Everything was fine, except a little smidge of what looked like blood on the bedspread. Always pull them off asap.

Great hotel! Lovely front desk staff, clean and comfy rooms, would book again!

Pet friendly? Make sure to ask BEFORE booking what their pet fee is - $75 is what we paid per night. So much more than any other hotel we stayed at on our trip from KC, MO to Vermont!

It's adjacent to a main road and you can hear cars and trucks all night long.

Very pleasant and professional staff: frontdesk, breakfast service

Amazing views! A claustrophobic’s dream with lots of space! Just one small issue: the bathroom’s toilet paper is totally out of reach unless you have five foot long arms! Very quiet space! Personally, I’d go there again and ask for the same corner room!

I paid for breakfast to be included but the lady working in the breakfast area snapped at me and said it was not complimentary.

This used to be my go-to hotel in Troy and we decided to give it anothet try. We arrived late at night and had a very warm welcome. The night staff was friendly and we talked for a bit. I am happy to see the fitness center is back to being fully functional and breakfast was delicious with more friendly staff. However, when we went to check out, I had my adult son turn in the room keys while I went to the car. He said that when he went to get a complimentary coffee for the ride home, the front desk staff acted very rudely towards him and gave him looks as if what he was doing was wrong. As a Hilton Honors member, I was very disappointed to hear this. It only takes one bad interaction to sour a customer on a hotel. You should teach your staff to treat everyone with respect

We were there from out of state for a concert at SPAC so the location was somewhat convenient. The first room we were in there was no water pressure in the shower and was leaking out of the shower head. The front desk immediately switched our room and while the shower was much better, it was so hot because the a/c is on a motion sensor. Stupidest thing ever. It was 95 under a heat advisory so every time we left and came back that night it was 80 degrees in the room. Yet the first room was nice and cool. The wallpaper was also peeling off the wall at the seems on every wall. Other than that it was a pleasant stay.

This is our second stay here. We are here because our son attends RPI. Out of all the hotels we have stayed in during the last 2 years in Troy, this one is the best as far as service and cleanliness. The rooms are a good size, comfortable. But it's always the people who make it what it is and the staff here is very welcoming and conveys the feeling that they genuinely care about each guest. This is true from the gentleman who checks us in at 5 pm to the ladies who serve us breakfast to the guy cleaning the floors.

Everything would've been great if we weren't given a room that was already occupied. Opening the door to an occupied room was quite awkward and made us feel really bad, especially because it sounded like one of the people were in the shower as the other person came to the door in his shorts. Luckily their towels on the floor by the door prevented us from flinging the door open! They gave us another toom immediately without any incident luckily. However, once we got into the room, I understood what the commotion was about when we first walked into the lobby witnessing a guest complaining about how even the second room was also incredibly hot without a working AC... how it was also 77 degrees.. how the halls are hot and that she was going to leave a bad review etc.. I rolled my eyes to myself hearing her attitude, but she wasn't entirely wrong when I got to our room. The hallway was hot and humid. Walking into a same level of warm and humid room was in fact annoying, but if she just waited 20 min, her room would have cooled down. It seems like the default AC is left off until the room gets checked in perhaps. Thermostat showed the current temp was at 77 but the AC setting was at 65. I felt cold air coming out of the AC so we waited and eventually the room was nice and cold. My suggestion to management would be to just turn the AC on earlier when booked and not wait until check in. We checked in at 730pm. Other than these two things, it was a nice stay.

Stayed here many times and every time it’s starting to look a little more neat and beginning to match the surrounding area. Staff were a little less friendly this time. One of the electric vehicle charges was smashed and out of service.

The building must have been renovated recently. The hotel was very clean and smelled great! The room was neat and clean and the beds were very cimfortable. The staff, at both check-in and check-out, were both extremely courteous and knowledgeable. I will definitely stay here again.
