Nice property

Adorable house built in 1619 nestled among the small streets of LaGuardia. Be warned there is no elevator and parking is just a short distance from the hotel. Staff was super friendly and accommodating.

Very nice hotel but the breakfast was simply terrible. It is better that they didn’t offer any rather than that. Please avoid it at all costs. It is a shame because other than that it is a nice hotel.

This hotel, built in the 1600s, was beautiful and the staff amazingly helpful!

This was a fantastic place to stay. The hotel was right in the center of town, was incredibly well apportioned, and the staff was friendly

400 year old building. Cobbled stone streets. Very rustic (in a good sort of way) rooms. Great neighborhood feeling. Well located to nearby wineries.

Boutique style hotel in center of LaGuardia. Rooms were comfortable and hotel is very unique given age and character. Be aware that LaGuardia is a small Spanish town following the Spanish clock, therefore LaGuardia is a ghost town for most of the mid day. Plan your trip so you are not in the village for the afternoon, and if you are be prepared to see nobody anywhere.

Wonderful stay. We loved the posada and the town. So convenient and staff very helpful

This is the best place to stay in Laguardia, an adorable town right near some of the best wineries in the Rioja valley. The stone building is beautiful and the rooms reflect the history of the building. Beds were very comfortable. Staff is excellent. Be sure to visit the bar when it is open. It is a hidden jewel tucked downstairs that serves some great wine, cocktails and tapas.

Loved the beautiful hotel, kind staff, views and super location. Easy walks to wineries

Unclean room and uncomfortable bed. Cheap toiletries and a tea kettle with no selection, only old herbal tea. Room was no smoking but smelled of cigar smoke. Hotel restaurant was good and town was quite interesting. Lovely walks including the circumference around the outside of the wall and through adjacent vineyards. Recommend visiting but staying in a different hotel, or a nearby town and doing as a day trip.

This small hotel oozes with all the character of a 400 year old building, but updates gave our room 21st century comforts. The staff knocks themselves out to be accommodating. Best restaurant around. Amazing breakfast. Elegant dinner. Take time to get lost in the quirky medieval streets of Laguardia and soak in the amazing views of the countryside below.

Floor very uneven which made it unsafe esp at night. No lift. Many steps and stairs. Navigating around the uneven floor surface was disconcerting and felt unsafe.

In the centre of the old town. Park the car and walk. Worth the effort. A unique experience but not for those who cant cope with steps and carrying own luggage.

We have visited La guardia previously but did not stay. This year we decided to stay & booked the Posada Mayor on the Internet. We were not impressed. The hotel gave us no indication of the parking limitations which ,if one was lucky enough to find a suitable parking spot ,required a 400m walk carrying luggage,to the hotel which was difficult to find.
The rom was very limited with minimal modern amenities. The power went off if one boiled a kettle etc.The level of comfort did not justify the cistern of the room. The only plus was the friendliness of the afternoon reception staff. The prices for breakfast & evening meals was very high .

What a wonderful hotel in a beautiful town! The hotel building is awesome and our room was not huge but had an amazing view (and a shower big enough for a 6’4” man!). The pool is great and breakfast had many options. Parking on-site is also huge. We wished we’d had longer here!

This is a very quaint hotel nestled in a beautiful town. It is a little tricky though since there is no elevator, so carrying up luggage can be tough. Our room was comfortable, though it did feel a bit spartan. We were only there one night, so it was a good stay for our quick visit.

We (7 of us) arrived very late due to a flight delay. Staff was incredibly accommodating, fixed us a late meal with excellent wine after hours since we hadnt eaten. They reserved a wine tasting at Marque de Riscal when we were told it was not available. Easy check in, Easy check out. We loved this hotel and the wonderful people working there! Thank you!

...in a wonderful little town.
(I really don't want to say any more because I'm lazy, but expedia says I have to add a bit more, so I did.)

What a quaint, delightful little place to stay! It is located within the walled town, beautiful & picturesque.

Very nice, clean and well organized hotel with a great staff. Even though I stayed for only one night I had a wonderful time, and definitely I will recommend.

I was looking for a special and out of the beaten path town & hotel and this hotel and Laguardia were exactly what I was searching for. Very quaint town, amazing local food & wines & views. The weather could not be better as well. If you want to get away from the big city crowds and go back in time, this is the spot. Very friendly folks and I would do it again if I could.

This hotel is in a great position if you want to stay within the city walls of the old town .The staff were very obliging at check-in .
However the room was somewhat small considering the price and somewhat outdated also. The bathroom had some mould on the shower tiles and all in all the hotel seemed a little tired. Is also surprisingly in this day and age that Wifi is not available in the bedrooms

This hotel had friendly staff and a lot of character. Our room was large, air conditioned and nicely decorated. The bathroom was perhaps a bit tired, but clean.
