The pavilion was great and comfortable. The grounds were great to explore when the museum closed.

Our night at Mona was memorable from the moment we made our booking. The staff at all level so treated us with lots of love and care. We ferried up from Hobart and the food, wine and fun began. Wandering the grounds was just amazing with no crowds in the evening and morning, and then the museum before the ferry back to Hobart was a great conclusion to an amazing night!! Loved it đź‘Ťđź’“

One of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had. Customer service outstanding and could not have done more to make our stay more comfortable. Our room itself (Arthur) was incredible. Views over the Derwent (including from the bath), enormous space and generous kitchen. Would have loved to have stayed for longer.

This place is hard to book, I was very lucky to find it on Hotels.com and trilled with the comfort of the Walter the name of my unit, they fully stock the bar and pantry and had a bottle of bubbly and fresh fruit for us. There is a cost of the bar and pantry but so convenient. but we were there for the Mona museums which was fantastic walk everywhere to enjoy our stay and the views from the Walter are fantastic.

We love this place. Tremendous place to stay and soak up everything that MONA has to offer. Two nights is well worth while. Brett is great with 2 bedrooms and room for a roll away bed as well. Very well appointed. Expansive views.

Stayed in Arthur which contains a painting of Arthur Boyd in the lounge area. Daily free tickets to the museum. Complimentary local winery sparkling wine bottle on arrival. Breakfast at Source restaurant included.

The best way to download after all that art to soak up at MONA. Gorgeous location, bath with a view and five star service.

This is one of the best looking hotels I have been to. Moreover, we stayed Monday and because the facility is closed to the public on Tuesday, you got the whole Mona for you to wander on Tuesday morning. That was definitely a precious experience.

This was a one night splurge on a week-long trip around Tasmania. Overall it was great to stay at Mona, and when we walked through the grounds at night on the way to dinner it felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. The room was pretty nice, and had some nice touches. However, we havent rated it higher because some of the furniture (some statement loungers and chairs) were falling apart and looked cheap and tacky (as in foam was coming out of them). Also, and this is huge for us, there was a really bright light in the room ceiling coming from a smoke detector that affected us being able to sleep well all night. This is a huge pet peeve of mine in hotels especially! The sauna and pool were lovely, and the included breakfast was divine. The mini bar offerings (which you pay for) were also exceptional. I would probably recommend this to art lovers as a splurge, but it just wasnt complete perfection for us based on the few small points above (and at this price, you want it to be absolutely perfect).

MONA has awesome art as its USP and whether you like or hate some of it it is a stimulating environment. Add in the lovely Pavilion rooms and access to a brewery and a winery and you have a great recipe for a successful break. And if you arrive on the MONA ferry enjoying the Posh pit you will feel like royalty. Perhaps the best part of a stay at MONA is the access to the artwork outside the normal opening hours. The crowds are gone and the environment is quiet.

The Pavillions are very comfortable and well equipped and the location and design just cant be beaten. The staff were really friendly and not stuffy like in some luxury hotels. They made me feel at home. The lap pool is small but stunning. I really enjoyed my stay.

Waking up on the Derwent River was an amazing experience. Comfiest bed & pillows I’ve ever encountered. All staff were polite and friendly. Heated floor added extra comfort.
Well maintained property & highly recommended.
Thank you for a perfect time

We stayed in Arthur for 2 nights and had an amazing weekend. The Pavilions are beautiful - the outlook, the lovely deep bath with a view of the lake, the amazing artworks in the room, the big comfy bed and a very well-stocked fridge and separate wine fridge - what more could you want? Staff were lovely and so helpful and the museum itself was an experience too! The pool and sauna were beautiful. We also had breakfast and dinner at The Source restaurant which was again faultless. Would return in a heartbeat!

We thoroughly enjoyed MONA Pavillions. The room had great views of the Derwent and was very comfortable. The facilities were excellent and we found everything we needed when we decided to cook in the room. It was serviced daily by very helpful staff & we will certainly try to go back to MONA. The benefit of being onsite was great as we could visit the Museum whenever we wanted & did not have to pay entrance fees. The restaurant was very good - great food & wonderful service.

The concept of having accommodation a few steps away from the MONA art/museum gallery is very accommodating for anyone who wants to spend a lot of time exploring and understanding the concept of the gallery, but does not have the physical capability to spend hours at a time. The staff were extremely professional and yet so warm and friendly and said they loved working at MONA! I feel there is a lot of generosity in their giving of service to guests and visitors at the gallery. The view overlooking the Derwent River from pavilion BRETT was for ever changing. The location was paradise for anyone who is a lover of nature, a photographer or a private person. Room service was prompt and offered with respectful friendliness. My only complaint was there was only exotic tea leaves to make a pot of tea, but when I requested regular green tea bags they appeared with such gusto and pride, I was overwhelmed.
