Looks clean but I got bed bug bites.

The property is conveniently located in the very center of all the tourist attractions which are a short walk or train ride away. But the room was terribly dirty, found a used condom on the floor between the bed and night table, along with a lot of trash underneath the beds

The hotel was more like a motel. It is old and not as good as you expect for what you pay.

Most uncomfortable bed out of all the beds we slept in the whole country of Korea. Smallest and thinnest mattress. Ancient immovable “stereo”(?) thing next to the bed, preventing even my arm from hanging off the bed. The whole 7th floor smelled of cigarette smoke, covered up with some scent. Small towels. Noisy jack hammer outside all night long. The best thing about this place was the free water in the lobby and the friendly/helpful front desk person. Neighborhood is under construction so I’m hopeful the hotel will clean up and get their act together in order to compete with the up and coming new businesses as this can be a good neighborhood in a year or two. Right next to the river walk and the subway.

The first young desk clerk was super helpful and thankfully understood English.
Everyone else was also friendly.
It was a nice location.

It’s located in Seoul downtown just near the Cheonggye-cheon. The building is looking old but it’s clean and comfortable bed room. The very kind staff and cheap price. If I need to stay in downtown in Seoul. I can stay here another one night.

Location is bad, I think it is located in the middle of ghetto. There were so much drunken people in front of the hotel.
I did not feel safe, So I did early check out without any refund.
Also the room was not ready when I get there 7:30 pm ish.
The AC and lights did not work properly.
Awful place in beautiful city.

Good location near Dongdaemun market and a subway station.
I stayed 7th floor room and heard Karaoke noise from upstairs in the night.

The staff was very kind and happy all the time. Their service was beyond my expectation. Also, the location was easy to find and near the subway easy for travelers to travel around.

Had booked a smoking room through Expedia, no option was available in the entire hotel. Expedia needs to update this on their postings for this room.Hotel room itself was clean and centrally located for ease to travel around.

It’s a very good location, and rate is very economical. Quiet and easy to around by subway. If I visit to Seoul then I’ll choose this hotel. Staffers are all kind, thanks.

Cons: No Window; No Air conditioner, very hot in the room; The area around the hotel doesnt looks like a comfortable spot for ladies: Too many local stores with men owners are around the hotel; found 2 cockroaches in the bathroom, very disgusting.Pros: People at the front desk are nice. Helped me to order a take-out; closed to a subway station; I would not recommend the hotel to a lady friend.

This hotel was good and had all the basic features I needed. It’s not a 5 star by any means, but provided good service and friendly staff. The towels and bedsheets were cleaned daily. Room vacuumed coffee cups and utensils washed. From the front and lobby area doesn’t give a good impression but it’s centrally located and price efficient. All the Front Desk Receptionist were friendly and helpful. Some spoke ok English and others I used (google translate) and it was sufficient to communicate.

The room was fine. Good beds, good range of TV channels and a god quality bathroom. The hotel is in need of a redecoration in places but it is by no means old fashioned. The rooms all feature strong WiFi and modern HDTV too. The reception also holds luggage before checkin and after check out. For free. The location is great too. The city centre is only about 15 minutes walk. The metro is less than 10.

During our 3 week stay, we were satisfied with; friendly front counter staffs, good air condition, good cleaning ladies, unlimited bottled water supply, etc.

Much improvement needed in terms of quality of room and breakfast as we feel short changed for the rather high rates paid

No hassle upon check-in and the staff allowed us to go to our room even though we arrived around 11am. With young kid and traveled on midnight flight, we really appreciated that! The staffs are friendly and helpful.
We have a triple room, it was clean and comfortable. However, a pillar right at the center of our room has made it a bit hard for us to move around. Essentials items such as electric kettle and hair-dryer, and basic toiletries was provided. There is also a water dispenser (hot and cold) at the end of corridor.
The breakfasts however is not so delectable, basically just cereal and bread with milk, coffee or tea, and same everyday through out the 6 days :(
Overall, we are satisfied and don't mind going back the same hotel if we visit Seoul again in near future (but will only go for the room)!

Had to book windowless room as Central Hotel was almost full and I didn't have any other choices in the vicinity. BIG MISTAKE. As the weather was getting cold, the hotel decided to shut down the a/c. DID NOT INFORM ME. Imagine being in a windowless room without a/c, I almost SUFFOCATED! Hotel staff were very nice though, brought me fan but useless. Managed to move me to a room with windows two days later which was only a slight improvement cos the window was tiny!! So I still needed the fan to circulate the air in the room. Even the taxi driver asked why I'd chosen to stay in such an old hotel! Breakfast was pathetic to say the least... who needs to have breakfast in the hotel when there's so much choices outside. The location was great though - walked up and down the river that was just in front of the hotel where buskers played music on the banks and ducks waded in the water. You can walk along the river all the way to Dongdaemun where you'll pass several markets on the sides where hundreds of little stalls selling local food are found - great atmosphere! However, still a big thumbs down for the hotel.

I stay for 2 days is worst days on my live: 1. Internet not OK 2. There is no laundry service. 3. last day air condition out of order full day.

The room and the hotel overall were fine. However, the internet connection was so slow as to be completely unusable. If you need a good internet connection when traveling, dont stay here. If there had been any cafes near the hotel that would not have been a problem, but this particular hotel is located in the section of Seoul where they sell air compressor parts, venting ducts and plumbing supplies. Good location if you happen to work in any of those businesses.

Room was slightly small but location is great. It was also impossible to turn off one of the lights due to an electrical issue. I unscrewed the light bulbs.

Beds are terribly small and mattress too hard. Zero comfort. The air conditioning does not work, it's filthy. The whole place is falling apart. It's well located, but I'd rather stay somewhere else next time.

Dirty sheets, dirty towels, hotel has a bad smell, door is jammed so it takes a shoulder to open it. Towels and sheets are almost see through. Very old hotel, does not seem to have been upgraded in a while. Close to a subway station a few stops from Seoul KTX, but just not worth staying here ever again. Hotel seems to be in a sign making district, walking from the hotel to the subway means walking past shops giving off horrible plastic fumes.

Booked the hotel based on the photos that were shown on the website, but when we got there, what we see was totally different. First impression of the hotel was really bad, was old and looked really dirty. The main entrance to the hotel is also at a back alley, so not many Taxi drivers knew where it was..
Room we stayed in was really small, had a desk, tv, 2 beds and a toilet, if both travellers have full sized luggages, you're going to have to be very organised with placing the bags. (friend and i took turns in getting stuff from the bags). The size of toilet was acceptable, just didn't have hooks for your clothes so you had to hang them over the sink/toilet bowl.. Towels had a weird smell to them though they felt clean..
What was good about the hotel was that staff could speak some English which helped.. Location of the hotel was excellent, in between 2 stations which gave you access to about 4 lines. Street beside the hotel also had food late into the night (of course, stall holders can't speak English).. Hotel was also right at Cheonggyecheon Stream.. Relatively close to areas such as Dongdaemun and Myeongdong..
Overall still enjoyed the stay there, if the some money was spent to upgrade and 'liven' up the place, hotel would be perfect.

Dirty, gritty, shabby and depressing.Do not stay here! There were blood stains on my sheets as foot prints. The carpets are old and cheap, I stepped on something as soon as I took my shoes off. The hotel is old and was always badly built. The windows hadn't been washed in 30 years. The TV was falling apart and the remote is greasy. The staff are unfriendly.Tiles are falling apart in the bathroom. The bins are dirty because they don't bother to put bags in them.It was extremely expensive for what it was. The worst hotel I ever stayed in.
