Super clean hotel very nice employees well situated in the safer Manga area

I had a room with leaking shower and vanity. Also they were renovating the plumbing while I was there so I had a lots of interruptions. My score would have been higher because I loved the castle design. Check in was slow. Breakfast was good. Tv had plenty of channels. The pool was Devine. In a quieter location so it suited me. Bed was adequate. Restaurants close by.

Had issues with booking this property and then they sent me in circles trying to cancel it and get my money back.Long story short, didn’t get my money back. They did communicate with me in a somewhat timely fashion though. Didn’t stay here though, so I can’t comment on anything related to that.

I was only staying for one night. When I arrived at the hotel I was told that there was a problem with the AC in my room and there were no more rooms so they sent me to another hotel that they paid for. I wish I could have stayed at this hotel because it seemed very nice and the surrounding area looked pretty interesting as well.

Lovely small hotel. Very clean and friendly staff. Only criticism would be the quality of breakfast which was very poor with limited choice to choose from.

The entire staff were helpful and friendly. The room was perfect in size and the bed really comfy. Although the hotel is not centrally located, the taxi rides were short and inexpensive. I loved the neighborhood, though, as I could walk to get some delicious lattes at a local coffee shop and able to pick up a few needed items at the local market. I would quite happily stay here again, anytime. Thanks to the staff for watching over this 81-yr-old solo traveler.

Very disappointing stay. Walls are paper thin and you are even able to hear the person at the front desk receiving a text message from inside your room when you’re trying to sleep. Bring ear plugs. Tried asking the front desk person a question but they didn’t speak English. Breakfast was good. It was fine for the price but would not come back.

Nice small hotel in an old villa. New ac in the room. Friendly staff but no restaurant recommendations.
There is not much around the hotel in terms o services.

Second post I needed to write. The first one was not approved. I had a horrible experience. The owner of the hotel tried to charge me extra saying that my reservation was for one person when I had a double room and Spa for free for 2 people (In the 1st post I uploaded the pic but they dont let me do it). When I told the owner i was not paying he started to be extremely rude telling me how many hotels and money he has. Saying that he has this problem often but people pays (so he is doing this in purpose) He told me I could leave if I want it, and that he will give me a refund, so I did. When I send the email to get the refund, he denied everything and did not give me the refund. So i guess he did need my money.... The location of the hotel is far from Getsemani and even more from Ciudad Amurallada.

Good price/quality relation in a quiet area of the city

I enjoyed very much the style of the hotel very private and away from the city. Located about 15 walk to the Torre del Reloj. Its in a residential area with no other hotels around .Nice take on the real Columbian people. Few resturants and cafes. I think it could be a nice area with a little help. Needs a few more shops and cafes. Street food and fruit is available. 2 small grocery stores. .walking distance to the open market. If you want a more tourist area this is not the place to be. If you like to see how columbians live then this is it Breakfast was very good. Staff could be a little more helpful

Overall, the experience would have been about what I expect of average hotels in Cartagena. There were two issues that I think merit a review, however. First was the half-dead cockroach outside my door through the last day of my stay. It was there when I left to give a presentation, there when I returned, and there when I checked out. No hotel this small, and with so many staff should have difficulty encountering and dealing with something like this. The genuine problem occurred after my stay. I suspected that I had left a folder with work papers behind at the hotel. When we called to check about this, we were told that documents left behind are clearly unimportant and would simply be thrown out. No offer was made to check whether anyone had encountered this folder, and though hotels.com did contact the hotel for me, this time they claimed they had searched and found nothing. Not somewhere I would recommend simply on the basis of do-the-absolute-minimum customer service.

Very nice and clean, big room and very good personnel. The place is very clean and quiet. It is at walking distance to many of historical places to visit in Cartagena. The only negative side it that there is no swimming pool or spa as mentioned on their web site

A lovely place with kind, responsive staff. The room was very simple--sheets were clean but the blanket on the bed looked dirty and little washed. Same for the one chair in the room. Breakfast is made to order and the welcome drink is a nice touch. We rented the bikes available at the hotel which was a great option. The neighborhood is residential and not centrally located (20+ minute walk to Getsamini at a fast pace). The food options in the area are limited. It's a good place on a budget, just a little further from the action and the beach. Worth noting a taxi to beach from here is less than $5.

The hotel facilities are excellent and the staff was very friendly and helpful. It is probably an old house that was converted to hotel.
My room had one double bed and the room size was more than sufficient and it was relatively fresh even without the AC The bathroom was also roomy and comfortable. Hot water available in
the shower.
Breakfast is included. A short set of good choices to order. Portions are normal size (not extra large American style).
Since the hotel is located within the Manga residential area, there are no views to the ocean. I didn't have time to explore the surrounding area.
