Nice place to stay, great location and great price. Our room was comfortable and the host was very friendly. The only issue was that the wifi and TV did not work during our stay.

Good place to stay in Ghent.

The operator was hard to contact. The front door wide open when we arrived and often left like this. The only access is up 3 flights of stairs. You apparently have to ask about the free breakfast although you can make coffee using the machine whenever you like but not if it is our of water. The location is great within the old town area.

Overall it was a great experience. Check in wasnt the easiest of all time as it has to happen at 4pm sharp or you have to set an appointment, but the lady was so nice, helpful, and really flexible. And the location of the B&B couldnt have been better as all my meetings were nearby.

This hotel was very conveniently situated for an overnight stop in the centre of old Gent

Great location, very close to town. No aircon in rooms so can get a bit warm.

Close to the centre og Gent, restaurants on the same street. But barren wooden floors and very old bilding and furniture

Was a bit difficult to find due to no sign but the personnel were very friendly. The hotel was like staying at an old aunt's home. It was clean and location was super. I would use the hotel again. Parking is a lil pricey.

Didnt get to stay here. Flying in to Brussels from LHR I was on a short business trip in Gent. I was informed by email that I was arriving too late and that they had gone home and wouldnt be checking me in. When I replied by email that I was at the hotel I received no response. The next day I received an email that claimed they reviewed their cameras and buzzer log and determined that I was lying and that I hadnt showed up. I am offended by this claim as I stood at their door buzzing for 10 minutes upon my arrival. Luckily there was an Ibis up the road that had availability. I would have been in big trouble if there had not been another hotel nearby.I would have appreciated a call before the staff decided to leave me stranded in an unknown city because it was past their bedtime. Beware before booking this hotel. The ownership clearly doesnt value their customers and may not value you during your stay - make sure you arrive before 8:00 pm or youre screwed.I would recommend avoiding this hotel. The Ibis up the road has great views of the cathedral and towers downtown and the hotel bar has great Belgian beers and very friendly staff.

This is a bed and breakfast, not a hotel. My room was next to the breakfast room, with as result it was noisy early on.

Clean room. Great bed. Good location from the centre. Friendly owner. Inconsistent water temperature.

The hotel itself is almost impossible to find, with no visible sign, only a really tiny placard on the door on a busy street. Inside it is alright for the money, nothing special, rather old - but some things didn't work too well, to put in lightly. There was no shower curtain in the bathroom and the building itself has very old locks that don't always open with the key. I was locked in my room for several minutes trying to open the door until the owner went and got a master-key to unlock the room from the outside.

This is more a B&B than a hotel. Rooms are well appointed and comfortable but the public areas still have an unfinished look with bare stairs and distressed paintwork. It was not easy to find as the only sign is a tiny brass plate on a front door. Curtailing in the room was inadequate especially given a strong light directly outside the room. Some nice patio areas outside if it is warm enough to use. Breakfast was OK nothing fancy. Overall a bit expensive for what you get.

With no rooms available anywhere in Ghent on the night I arrived, I had no choice but to stay in La Ducale in one of the apartments on the third floor. Overall, I quite liked the place as somewhere to put my head for just one night. The manageress was very friendly and left a generous breakfast in my fridge while I was out having dinner. Being winter, I didn't mind not having curtains, but can imagine it'd make for a very early wake-up in the summer! Blinds in the bathroom might have avoided the locals sharing my morning shower - but maybe that's standard form when you stay in the red light district?

Great position for exploring Ghent. Apartment had everything we required.

I chose this hotel for its period building at the historic centre and was hoping for a friendlier staff than the usual hotel chains. I am satisfied with what I got. I would recommend if you prefer friendly staff than the little details.

Wonderfully warm room in a cold damp February. Big bed. Good bread & coffee at breakfast ) plus meats & cheese, yogurt, cerials, fruit, jam etc). Helpful info on Ghent, plus map given. Would return.
