Great price great room, not tons of extra amenities that you would find at luxury places which is nice for economy travelers, I would absolutely stay again
3.1
This was a very poor room. The first thiing I noticed that was amiss was a depression in the edge of the mattress The mattress was collapsed in U-shaped area of about 18 inches. The next thing was that the curtains would not close completely as the hanging rod was broken. There was a table and two chairs in the room. When I tried to sit down in one of the chairs the middle of my small finger got piched due to the loose joint between the horizontal and vertical part of the arm of the chair. It didn' break the skin but it was very painful. I finally decided to go to get a change of rooms but was told they only had an available room on the 3rd floor. The room with all the issues was on the 2nd floor and there is no elevator. I declined the other room as we are elderly and the stairs would have been a burden. The soap holder in the bathtub was filthy.
There were trip hazards created by throw area carpets in the hallway and outside on the paths due to loose stones

Run down
Clean
Pool is only open 10-10.
Staff are mostly nice .manager is nasty to staff.

The staff were engaged - the property was very very subpar, worn down and flat out in need of refurbishment - our room lacked a lamp, the first room we were offered did not have a door with a working lock - the second had insufficient lighting, a constantly malfunctioning TV and spotty at best internet service - Bed was fine, things seems clean - but literally everything appeared worn out and in need of updating/replacement.
3.1
Worn out. Small. Said breakfast and it was basically granola bars - don’t call that breakfast. However the staff was informative and very helpful
3.1
Very run down. Room stunk of cigarette smoke
3.1
Nice room and facilities friendly helpful staff but room a little dated
3.1
The rooms are neglected and old.... But the staff was excellent.
3.1
Old and poor condition.

Our 2nd time staying at this hotel in South Burlington, Vermont. The staff is very good, the room is clean and very quiet at night time. Coffee and tea 24 hours -no snacks etc. Breakfast consists of coffee and donuts. The hotel is old could use some updating but all in all comfortable.
3.1
Very old warn out room. Very sad brown deco, old brown rugs and brown bed spread felt grungy.
People were nice but would not go back here.
3.1
Very old worn out interior. Sad brown rug and brown bedspread was not appealing. Would not go there again.

Good 👍

Very basic room, served our purposes! Only there for one night so it was all good. Had to ask how to work the shower though. Walking distance to Target, Barnes and Noble and Trader Jo's, as well as IHOP and Applebee's so it was perfect for us!
3.1
The room was very comfortable. Room itself was clean. Only complaint was the upholstered chair was so filthy I didn't dare sit in it. Everything else was wonderful. Staff was friendly.

Good stay
Very walkable
A little noisy but not bad
Sparse but comfortable

The hall rugs were filthy. The room smelt moldy. The room doors were dirty. Old and run down. Walls are paper thin.l The chairs and bathroom walls had stains.
The tv worked and it had a convenient location.
3.1
Utilitarian stop over for the night before an early flight. A bit run down but served its purpose. On the seedy side and had a couple of broke down cars in the back parking lot that looked like it hadn’t been moved in a long time. Plus there were several guys working on a different car. It was quiet.

Below standard

Very basic hotel that needs some renovation. But the staff is very nice and the hotel is close to a shopping mall and the highway. Depending on the season, the price gets too high for what you get.
3.1
There is no air dryer in the room. The bathroom needs renovation. There are few power outlets in the room.

The Anchorage is without a doubt the worst place that I’ve ever stayed. The room was filthy, smelled horrible, the furniture was dirty, outdated, beat up and mismatched. The carpet was stained, worn, and filthy. The bathroom had “mysterious stains” on the walls. One of the towels had some sort of makeup stain on it. The Anchorage is (thankfully) located across from a Target store where I went and bought bleach wipes,& shower shoes as I didn’t want my bare feet touching the floor.I am very glad that I was traveling solo without my family. Spend the extra money and stay at a place that is clean.
3.1
The hotel is in a great location but is very outdated. The tub in the first room I stayed in was stained and had no safety bars or texture to the tub bottom, easily contributing to falls. The building is multilevel but has no elevator making it not accessible.
3.1
This may the worst room we've ever stayed in that cost. ore than $200 a night. It might be the worst for even $100 a night. The room had few if any amenities, no ice bucket, no cups or glasses, few towels, and stains on floor, chair and curtains. The toilet is installed crooked and barely fits in the tiny bathroom. the tub has several rust spots and chips in the porcelain.
3.1
Location was central. About 10 mins from downtown. Staff was polite. Coffee and tea available in foyer. Quiet and secure.
The facility itself was rundown. No elevators? Room was dark with only small lamp to help. Bathroom door wouldn't shut because the door was larger than the frame. Didn't bother with the heat/ air conditioner or shower. May be time to replace the mattresses and carpeting. Breakfast was sweet snacks, donuts, bars etc. Could consider some orange or apple juice boxes or fresh fruit like bananas, apples, etc.
It was a last minute reservation. May be ok for 1 or 2 nights if you need but definitely low value for money.
3.1
Place was very run down and dated. Horrible musty smell throughout. Rust on tub floor with pooled water not draining. Sink was rusted on bottom. Beds were ok no blanket Again the smell was just horrific of mildew and dampness. So bad we left a day early
3.1
While the hotel is a bit dated, the location is good. Close to several things. Check in was smooth and staff was friendly. The floor I stayed in was quiet but there’s road noise. Sheets were clean and in good condition.

Great location, outdoor use an update

Outdated property

Very well located for downtown Burlington and the main roads. The hotel is old and really needs refurbishing.

I loved that there was always hot coffee and the receptionist was delightful. She helped to look up addresses for restaurants and places I wanted to visit.

Ryan on the front desk was we remarkable I had trouble with my door not unlocking and other questions. He was pleasant and helpful and made you feel taken care of. The only thing that was not to my satisfaction was the breakfast too much sweet combinations without thinking about people who do not eat junk food. Had a very nice stay,. Thank you

The property (interior, room 325) is quite old. Suite 325 needed an update years ago: sink, faucet, toilet, carpet (old, worn) busted screen on window, stale air/ smell. I paid approx U$ 153 for Aug. 8, 2024. I expected a little better for my money.
3.1
Under maintained, burn holes in comforter, tub worn to base, toilet running. Carpet dirty,
Felt like we were in a welfare hotel.
3.1
It is a very shabby hotel unfortunately. Not worth the price paid for.
3.1
Very convenient location at a good price. Staff is friendly and accommodating.
3.1
Had 2 rooms neither had towels, no phones so had to got to desk for everything and was on 3rd floor. Lights in bathroom had no switches. They were broke, cleaning crew didnt make the beds only emptied the small garbages and took out used towels in only 1 room. Will not be going back, son goes to UVM so we will find other accomodations.

I stayed at this inn 10 years ago and it was the same as i remembered the first time. We were nervous because the reviews we bad but the room i stayed in was clean and did not smell. We enjoyed the pool and the hot tub. It was quiet and there were no kids around during our stay. We got fresh towels each day and were able to get extra soap and shampoo. Staff was friendly and helpful. It is in a good location and there is lots of shopping and dining within walking distance. It was weird that there is place for ice but no ice buckets in the room and the rooms do not come with a coffee pot. There was a no continental breakfast but it is an inn and not a chain hotel so its understandable. They did have a variety of prepacked breakfast items and that was fine. Overall i would come back again especially because the price for 2 nights was still cheaper than one night at any other hotel in burlington.
3.1
Staff was still available for check in although our plane was late and we didn’t get there until around midnight.
3.1
The Inn was good and the room was large and nicely appointed but the one drawback was that there is no elevator and it is 3 stories so I had to drag my suitcase up 3 flights of stairs. The desk clerk did help me through which was very nice of her.
