Dirty reastaurant, kitchenstaff looked angry at peolel. Did not seem interested in refilling when they were out of some food.
I did one big mistake, i expected Hotels in Hanoi, to be equal to Hotels in HCMC(Saigon). This can not be compared to an equal 3 star hotel in HCMC. Much better in HCMC.
Reception staff were very helpful.
But sorry to say, I will not return here

I thought the Motel was fine, but some of the furniture was showing age and saw major stain in corridor. Worth staying, but due for a Reno.

The room was in very poor condition. Torn sheets, broken door, hole in the floor covered over by stained carpet, mildew on bathroom and closet walls, etc.

Great location, good breakfast. They gave us a$15 driver to the airport, who showed up on time. Room was simple, but comfortable. They carried our bags to our room for us. We had to use the showerhead detached from the wall because it was broken. Qtip box was empty when we arrived.

i'm not sure how this hotel got almost 4 stars. The building is old and the carpets are dirty everywhere. The standard rooms have no windows and they stink. When I arrived they had to change my room twice because of the odour smell. The last room was an upgraded superior room with windows. but the carpets were still dirty and the cable TV wasn't working. Also the breakfast is horrible. But the staff are friendly and helpful

This hotel is located in a more quiet area but still within a 20 minute walk of the old town centre area. It was a perfectly fine hotel but it wasn’t great - to be honest, I don’t feel the photos on Expedia accurately reflected the condition of the property. There were quite a few stains on the carpet and the air conditioning didn’t work basically at all so we were very hot in the night. Otherwise, the bathroom was nice with a hot shower and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was alright too.

The hotel staff was very friendly. They were helpful and held our bags at checkout because we had a late train.
The room was small and the bathroom was not very private, both the toilet and shower had clear glass doors adjacent to the bed. We had some issues with the hot water in our shower. The water to the hotel was shut off without notice twice for several hours.
The area is much quieter than the old quarter and is a very quick walk to the train station.
The kitchen was located amongst the guest rooms so every morning the room smelled very strongly of cooking food. Often when the AC was on the room would smell strongly of cigarette smoke. Breakfast was only fresh if you went right when it was put out at 7am and there was often very little remaining by 8:30-9am.
Overall it was a fine hotel for a few nights.

Got an inside room with no window. This was the perfect solution to be able to sleep without any traffic noise. Comfortable soft bed. Breakfast a bit limited.

Staff was really friendly and helpful. The room was ok. The neighborhood was really non welcoming.

Good stay. Close to train station which is where our airport bus 87 dropped us off. Close enough to old quarter. Hotel had basic amenities. AC worked wonderfully. Breakfast was good. Room was tight.

We stayed one night in a standard room. The room was big with a nice bathroom and a very comfortable bed. The room had a big window but the view was right in to the neighbour. There was a bit of mold in the bathroom, but not too much. The breakfast was okay. The hotel is outside Old Quarter but we liked that cause when we stayed in Old Quarter earlier there was a lot of noise at night. It is not far from the center though. A big plus is that we had a freezer. All in all the hotel was good and we got what we paid for.

Stayed here for 3 nights. Rooms are not small but a bit cold. Unfortunately, the hotel didn't have enough heaters in stock so I only got a heater on the last night. Better check with the staff whether your room is equipped with a heater in advance. Winters are short and not very cold but due to the humidity, it feels a bit cold. It should be fine in the summer.

Good staff & great info for Halong 1 day Trip & nearby restaurants & building

The hotel was decent enough for a 1 night stay, but a longer stay would have not been pleasant. The rooms were very damp and sheet dirty / stained. The staff, on the other hand, was superb and extremely helpful.

This is not old town, but if you want to be by the train station or the hanoi hilton, then stay here.

Hotel was excellent, room was clean and staff were very helpful. The breakfast was above expectations . I would certainly stay there again without hesitation. They booked our night train for us and let us store our bags for the day including our friends bag who didnt stay at the hotel, they even greated us with water when we came back to pick up our bags. Best place i have stayed in Vietnam. Short walk to the train station. And only about 15 min walk to the old quarter. 10/10. Upgraded us on arrival aswell.

Found this hotel at very last minute because we had to check out from the previous hotel at noon and wanted a place to stay and take shower before our 12hrs night train to Hue. Staff was very friendly and gave us a free upgrade since we were not going to stay overnight. Room was clean but hot water were little weak, but did had a good nap before the hard sleep overnight train though. For this price it worked perfectly for our purpose, it was just 5 min walk from train station and there were many local food to choose just around the corner. Highly recommended for traveller that looking for a place to take some rest and shower before catching the night train.

We needed a place for one night near the train station. It was fine for us. No problems.

From the pictures, this hotel seems amazing and such a good value for the price. The expectations I had varied a great deal from the actual experience. We arrived at the tiny hotel where the staff spoke poor English, took forever to check in and didn't seem that professional. The bedrooms were very dimly lit, we expected the rooms to look more like the pictures but it was quite small, stank of cigarettes and had a view of the neighbour's laundry line and constructions. We weren't given full-sized towels, nor a full roll of toilet paper and there was no safe in the room either. The reception area's bathroom was horrendous for a hotel, it stank and half of it was used for storage and didn't really look clean. When we checked out, we had to leave our suitcases for storage where we would return to collect them later. It turned out that they kept it in some laundry room with no security at all. I had to carry the suitcases out myself and no one offered to help. To be fair, this hotel was rated 3 stars and I was being overly optimistic and my expectations were too good to be true. Our alternative to this was Movenpick which I'm sure wouldn't have disappointed us, but I just thought that since we needed to attend the I.C.E centre and this is the closest one, the pictures didn't look bad at all so why not. This hotel is fine, as long as you realise how deceiving the pictures can be. It wasn't that bad but could be better, just don't set high expectations.
