Nice clean property on Big Bear lake, clean big room. Fireplace kept the room warm but it kept clicking in the middle of the night. 1 of the pillows had blood spots on it.

Nice people well kept Hotel in a very favourable location. I don't understand the issue with people trying to bring pets into a Hotel where the management specifically states, NO PETS! If you have pets stay at another Hotel in Big Bear that will accomodate you.

Great location by the lake and right in the center of town.

Very spacious room

Front desk staff was super nice. Room was nice, no AC, but fan in the room was plenty. Quick walk to the lake was nice, and very close to several shops, restaurants, and the village.

Good value. Convenient.

Stayed here for 3 nights and it was great! The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The room and bathroom were good sizes! A lot of storage and closet space! Very hot water and good water pressure in the shower. Easy and free parking. Close to a lot of restaurants, coffee shops, tour offices, etc. Really close to the lake as well! Walking distance to the lake! Would definitely stay here again!

Nice staff, clean and large room. Big Bear lake can be seen from the motel and I was able to walk to the lakeshore from my room.

It was very nice and clean and appeared to have been recently renovated. It's within steps of Santana's and Mavericks Lakeside Dining and within walking distance to the village. Great Location! The room does not have AC as most places don't in Big Bear, but the fan worked just fine at night. Very comfortable stay!

This was a great stay. It’s close to downtown big bear lake, snow summit, and water activities. The staff is helpful and friendly. Keep in mind that there is no A/C, however even during the 80 degree summer months the room was still quite cool. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for somewhere on the cheaper end that’s still close to town and other activities.

Very expensive for what equated to be bare minimum of a bed and bathroom in a motel. There is no housekeeping, no breakfast, or other services of any kind. While the rooms are non-smoking, there are tables and chairs lined up across the parking area as a "hang-out" place for guests - many guests used those seated areas to smoke and so you were still walking through and constantly smelling cigarrett smoke. The rooms do not have AC, which was my mistake for not noticing the lack of that amenity, but they did provide a small table top fan. It gets quite hot during the summer days and does not cool off significantly at night. We had to sleep with the windows open all night with the fan running to even be marginally comfortable. Unfortunately, with the windows open you're exposed to the road traffic noise as well as the neighbors to the property barking dogs for significant portions of the night. Vintage Inn is true to its name, there have not been any updates to this place and the bathroom/shower are dingy and grimy as is the carpet in the room. After we arrived and saw the state of the accommodations, I looked for other options to move to another location, unfortunately there was nothing else available last minute. Sadly, I would not recommend staying here, but if you do stay here the only positive aspect is that there are good eating options within walking distance.

Quiet, clean and tranquil. A wonderful getaway from the city.
Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Nice accommodations. Outdoor areas for smoking if needed or gatherings!
Restaurant and lake itself within 300 yards from my room.
Staff were incredible!
Will be going back as soon as I have time too!

The view was amazing over looking the lake. The room was clean and big. However it did not have a/c, just a small standing fan and the front door was a interior slab door not an exterior steel/fiberglass door that a front door should be and it had both a deadbolt and bottom lock However only the bottom locked when you were leaving. The area itself was nice and i didnt feel unsafe but it made me a lot more weary of my surroundings.

Amazing service and comfortable. End of driveway is access to the Big Bear Lake and an awesome bar/restaurant. Only downside for us was no ice machine

This is a wonderful place for short vacation. We liked everything from helpful management to accommodation. Just be aware in hot weather
there is no conditioner but fans.

This was a clean room that was very large and well equipped and super comfortable. The grounds were clean and had nice extras like bbqs and shaded picnic tables. We chatted with the front desk woman (owner) and she was very friendly and a nice person. We had a couple other of encounters with hotel staff--all professional and helpful. This is an excellent place to stay and hurrah the staff enforces the rules so the rest of us get our money's worth in a nice quiet stay.

My partner and I stayed here 3 nights over the 4th of July weekend. This is our second stay here and we already booked our next. The staff is super friendly, our room and bathroom were very comfortable and the location is perfect for us; an easy 10 minutes walk to the village main street and marina. The rooms do not have AC but they do provide fans. This is normally not an issue in this area, but this past weekend was unusually hot. Can't ask for anything better for the price. Other properties in this area charge a lot more money. The property is located on a side street that ends at the lake shore and there is a popular restaurant and bar there overlooking the lake. So on weekend nights you can hear cars coming and going until around 11 pm, but this place is much quieter and peaceful than most other properties this close to the town's main streets.

Comfortable, very clean, quiet. The room had no air conditioner however I was amazed that the room was so cool althought the temp was mid 80 to 90. There is a fan provided. The inn is close to everything the Village is .3 miles walking and there is water access only about 200+ yards away. There is also a restaurant about 100 yards away. I would definitely stay there again if I have the same room #30 or any room in the building that has a second floor.

Really nice quiet spot, near the lakeside. Comfortable room with good shower. Friendly welcoming staff.

The property management was very rude and not personible at all she actually waited up until 2 AM for us to get home from a long day of being at a wedding to tell us that we're being too loud and if I was she has to come down one more time she was gonna kick us out and never acknowledge the fact that our neighbors were loud as well almost felt like she was kind of prejudiced to us and our race. I would not recommend staying here at all. I even found a roach in the bathroom and under beds were horrible .

Nice size clean room. short walk to the lake. The office has limited hours, but are on the property & can be reached via cell phone if anything is needed.
We arrived after hours and they left our package at the office so no problem checking in late.
Nice med size refrigerator vice the smaller dorm type usually found, about 2x's the size normally found.
Unfortunately, no ice machine & no a/c. A fan is provided and radiate heater fire place.
We had a nice stay, would consider staying again.

This hotel is definitely at a very convenient location. We were walking distance from lots of shops & other restaurants. We have a 5 yr old and we were walking distance from a park. We were able to walk to the lake and set out canopy and chairs to fish. I would definitely stay here again!

I liked the big bathroom with air, heater, timer, and shower/tub combo. I also liked having a sink on the outside and a nice sized refrigerator with small freezer area on top, and a microwave.

Very nice, clean room with a nice fireplace gas heat.

Easy check in and check out. There is a restaurant at the end of the property with good food and pool tables so we took advantage of that. Hotel was very quiet and tucked a little a way from the road with a open area for snow play directly across the driveway. Room was spacious and clean. Would absolutely stay here again.

We would definitely consider staying there again! Spacious rooms!

the front desk staff was very nice and friendly. Our room was so spacious, clean, and well stocked with extra blankets, pillows, and toilet paper. We loved the access to the Large plot of snow for the kids, and that we were walking distance from the lake, so many restaurants and shops. 10/10 , will definitely be booking a room here again.

Great stay! Very affordable, clean, big, bright, and with a beautiful fireplace!
Walking distance to some amazing restaurants, and close to the lake and the ski runs.We really enjoyed our stay!

Very cute and clean motel with friendly staff. Very convenient location and nice access to the lake for beautiful views. Super close to Snow Summit. The large bathroom provides enough space to store snow equipment over night. We've visited three times this winter season and plan on coming back soon. Yes it is vintage but it is clean and has everything you need for a quick weekend getaway.

Easy check in, friendly staff. Would differently stay here again.

Incredible place to stay. It comes with a mini fridge, little freezer in it, microwave, and the gas fire is on right when you open the door. If you want down the parking lot, there is a great place for food and drinks on the lake. It's also just a 5 minute walk to the village. We drove to the mountain but I am sure the shuttle is near also.

I love the hotel, it is quite, clean and well maintenance, I have almost everything that I need for couple days.

This was the first time we’ve stayed here and we will definitely be returning. It has a beautiful landscape right along the lake with awesome views, a really cool bar and grill at the back of the property, and our room was so nice and spacious. The room has all the amenities of a small cabin with a kitchenette, small living room, and wood fireplace. For the price and amenities you really can’t find a better deal!
8.0
The beds are not comfortable and make noise with every turn. The neighbor room was very loud, seems like they had a fight that night, our whole family could not sleep till pass midnight.
Over all, the location is great. The room is very clean.
