Great, central location with parking, lovely people who - without exception - couldn’t do enough for you, breakfast 10/10. Will definitely return.

Really friendly staff, great pub and breakfast was fab

Bar staff and cook very friendly. Saturday/Sunday breakfast waitress needs to work on her customer service skills. They could do with having a breakfast menu printed out as she didn’t list the options available. Breakfast was very good though. The room wasn’t 100% clean and the stairs leading up to the room were very dirty. They hadn’t made the twin beds up as a double as requested.

Cleanliness and condition of room was good, but let down a bit by seperate entrance and stairs for the 'hotel' part of the pub, which could've done with a freshen up.Appreciate there's not room for a bedside table / cabinet but a small shelf alongside bed to put phone on would be nice. Toliet seat very loose!Would prefer to able to self serve coffee and water at breakfast, rather than having to ask and wait.

We had a very enjoyable stay at The Prince Of Wales. Our room was very tidy and comfortable, it looked as if it had been decorated recently. The only grievance we had was the lack of choice for breakfast. It was a full English breakfast, which incidentally, was excellent but there was no cereal on offer, and only white bread for toast.

Great location and parking. Friendly welcome. Not a real hotel, just rooms behind a pub. Steep, narrow stairs would present a problem for elderly travelers or anyone with heavy luggage. No evening food but just short walk from everything in central Marlow.

Fabulous service from staff, clean and boutique rooms and great location - thank you.

Comfortably night - although it is a pub where you expect a bit of noise until 11pm closing but the rooms are separate next door and so no problem. Smart rooms

The room was in a small annex with a footpath outside the window but there was no noise. It wasn't large but was adequate, clean and comfortable with en-suite and a good shower room.. Breakfast was cereals and yoghurt, juice and muffins left in the fridge. Tea and coffee-making facilities were fine. The pub is a good local, convenient for the town and friendly but a bit dominated by the sport on the television.. Check out time was 11.00am which suited us well

We used this hotel whilst competing in 1/2 Iron man. It's walking distance to Thames - so great! It got a bit noisy during the night once pub- part of the hotel- shut down. Overall good stay. We did try their Thai restaurant and the food was great

The room itself was absolutely fine (clean, etc), although the breakfast left something to be desired for the price. Our stay was interrupted twice by fire alarms. The first on the evening just before 8.30pm, when we were getting ready for a 9pm meal at the Hand and Flowers, and the second in the morning around 10am. Both times, we could not find anyone who knew what to do in the event of a fire alarm. In the evening the barmaids in the adjoining pub just shrugged at us and went about their business oblivious and unable to help us. Eventually, in the absence of anyone to advise us, we simply had to go back into our room with the fire bell ringing and finish getting ready (or face a hefty charge for not turning up to our 9pm table booked months previously!) In the morning, a similar state of affairs. The fire alarm went off again after using the shower and we had to rush to get clothes on and leave the room. Again, we could not find anyone to help us despite banging on various doors of the pub next door. We, again, elected to just go back in and get our stuff (no sign of a fire or anything resembling a fire) and leave immediately! We took a stroll and came back to get the car an hour later, ran into the boss, voiced our concerns at the complete and utter disorganisation of there being no one on site who could deal with a fire alarm (or two for that matter), we were promised a refund but it hasn't happened yet. Feel free to stay here if you want to risk it.

Enjoyable no-hassle one-night stay - would certainly stay at this hotel again (good value for money). Hotel is very central to Marlow (2 mins walk from High St) and has decent adjacent car park, large bar and restaurant (which we didn't use). Staff were polite / helpful on arrival and en-suite room was clean / as described (3* standard).

B&B is short walk to town, own off road parking all local amenties very near but has own restuarant & pub. Single room was clean & had everything i needed. Room wasn't big but with a window that opens fully and a fridge to have cold drinks to come back in this hot summer of ours was very much appreciated. Buffet breakfast in room had yoghurt, little box of cereal, fresh milk in fridge, muffin, cereal bar, apple & a bottle of orange. if there is a negative it is the big steps down to the bathroom and the steep steps up to the room if u have walking issues. But for me would definately stay again. Only marked three in service as after check in didn't use pub so saw no one. Good value overall.

We were in the area for a wedding. Room was clean and tidy. When your room is made up in the morning they also leave your breakfast in the room for the next day. Individual cereals (no choice), jug of milk in fridge, bottle of orange juice, yoghurt, apple, muffin and cereal bar. Given the cost of the room this seemed very poor. Thought a continental, buffet breakfast could have been provided in the hotel restaurant. We had enjoyed a good Thai meal in the restaurant when we arrived on the evening of our stay. Our television had no sound for the 2 nights we were there. Another of our party had an unwatchable television due to a loud fuzzy noise. The staff said this was often a problem and told us to fiddle with the leads and connections!

but the room was ok

Very good value in a central location, close to river and station. Pleasant atmosphere in pub which seemed to be popular with dog walkers.
