Beautiful renovation, pool was great, room nice and new.

The Hotel was under refurbishment during our stay. I’m sure the hotel will be stunning when finished. The design etc is top notch. However as a result of the current renovation the hotel lack signs etc, so it felt like a maze, and very difficult to find our way in the hotel because of locked corridors, doors etc. From a security perspective I did find it fare from acceptable. In case of emergency it would be a nightmare. Also the fact the hotel did not serve breakfast during weekdays I find totally unacceptable. Never ever experienced that in a 4* hotel. The fact this was not even stated at the booking is not acceptable. Also the noice from the refurbishment was not acceptable. Overall not an acceptable stay because of the circumstances, and the fact that was not clearly stated at the time of booking. A bid sad as the hotel is beautiful and the staff did their best given the circumstances. I would not hesitate to come back when renovations is completed, but currently I would stay away because of the reasons mentioned above

The morning staff was no help trying to tell me why i am paying 79 dollars after i paid for my hotel room. There Ants on the balcony and the shower pressure was weak and it was hard for it to get hot water. They also lied saying that they serve breakfast. But then they say that you have to pay for breakfast

In and out of the hotel from parking was odd. The staff was nice but difficult to communicate with. The room was very nice but even after we asked for a late checkout, housekeeping was pushing to get us out.
4.0 / 5.0
The property was under construction so the exterior had equipment and supplies in pods and the reception area was a temporary desk. The downside to our stay was the fact that the employees did not inform us of the umbrella and beach chairs provided, bikes and kayaks were included to use until day before checkout . Actually we found out from a guest staying here. No info was given about the internal restaurant nor rooftop bar until we saw signs. Our room was nice, clean and comfortable however the staff seriously needs to work on communicating with the guests informing them what is offered during their stay.

I have stayed at this hotel several times prior and was looking forward to staying there over July 4 holiday. When checked in we were not given the balcony view room that was booked months prior. I specifically booked a balcony room for July 4 holiday weekend. Had I known I wouldn’t get a balcony, I would have booked elsewhere. The hotel was apparently under construction and the room we were given had a view out the window of a construction dumpster. There were also clumps of hair on the floor of the room. We were told there were no balcony rooms available and a manager would call us next day to discuss a discount. Did not receive a call. The day of checkout we received a bill with no discount so I asked again and was told a manager would call. We did end up receiving a total of a $70 discount for both nights.

This is a gem on St. Pete Beach. This was my second time staying at The Hotel Zamora within one year. The hotel is conveniently located in an area that I have visited for over 30 years. I gave the hotel 5 stars across the board, but I would like to mention a staffing concern. During the Jully 4th weekend, I believe the pool and beach chair service failed to deliver. One day, we were able to get assistance from valet to get more beach chairs set up on the beach but then valet got busy. We had to wait for the pool staff to respond with beach chairs. The next day, we had to call for beach chairs again because there were not enough beach chairs set up for guests. Finding clean towels at the pool was another challenge throughout the days. I would suggest during busy times, such as holidays or when the hotel is fully booked, there should be two beach/pool on staff as it was difficult to find both staff. There should be sufficient staff because it makes a difference.

Avoid this place at all costs. They failed to inform us about construction so there was a constant noise in our rooms. We found cockroaches in both suites and the pictures aren’t up to date with how the property is currently setup.

For the price, this hotel fell short. The room was just off the Main Street on the first floor and was loud at night and during the day. The bathroom had no towel racks. The desk had no outlets. The hotel refused to take a night off my reservation where I couldn’t stay in the room so I ended up paying for it despite pleading with them and Hotels.com multiple times. Everything seemed a little off and done on the cheap but pretending otherwise. I would not stay here again.

Filthy room, so so service, old and outdated decor and furniture that was broken. Rooftop bar, not accessable if there is a wedding, which there was everyday we were there! No view as promised and the beds are not queen, they are full and SO uncomfortable! The manager did it make right by refunding 3 of our 5 night stay.

We checked in at hotel, and were given a room that the hotel was aware the ac was NOT working. We lowered ac and it wouldn’t go below 79, told front desk and the person in the front didn’t ask to check, or even say will send maintenance to check. Clearly they were aware ac didn’t work and still decided to give us the room that they did. 208a. Ended up asking if they will give us a room with working ac in this Florida heat, and he said I have to check with management and also, we need to check if the party who had reservations was coming or not to accommodate guests who already are checked in. They finally gave us another room 301a and that one had working ac thankfully!

Was not told there was a wedding there over the weekend and would not have access to both restaurants when I arrived. Very disappointing as we had planned to go to the second restaurant at our second night and then we're told we could not go there. Staff at the front desk was not very friendly upon arriving or helpful with learning about the hotel.

This is our second year here because last year was a great experience—this year has been poor. To start with, there is construction going on early every morning so we woke up to loud yelling and continous banging. The service for drinks and food at the pool area was nonexistent for the first three days of our trip. On the fourth day, they set up and closed quickly because the hotel power went out. The staff that provide help for using the paddle boards and kayaks were nowhere to be found as well most of our trip. The difference in service was really what is driving my overall rating. I do not plan on booking again in the future because there are plenty of other great options in St.Petersburg. The price point is higher to stay here so the experience and expectation bar is set higher. I considered it worth the money based on the experience last year, but this year the lack of staffing and construction killed our experience. I shared this with the front desk upon our departure but nothing was done to end our experience on a positive note; highly disappointed and will share this experience with everyone I know.

Very disappointed in this stay and it was for my little birthday get away. We didn't receive the room/view or balcony which was (Intracoastal King with Balcony) that we paid for. Then the balcony we did have if you sat down in the chairs you had zero view because it was the only balcony that was a solid wall and you can't see over it when you sit in the chairs. There were no phones in the rooms for service which is unsafe, annoying and inconvenient. Have to call on cell phone and pray to get a real person to pick up. There were not enough towels for the rooms and they limited the amount when requested. Coffee maker didn't and we told and they said they would replace and of course never did. No service for the beach or amenities so the daily resort fee was a complete joke /sham. It’s unfortunate because the hotel seems to have taken a “dive” across the board.

Most days I would have to go to the front desk to request additional towels as your room staff only left two towels for the three of us.

Amazing wedding at rooftop
3.0 / 5.0
Did not compare to a typical hotel chain. The building was very nice and the property was beautiful, however; the walls were extremely thin, our connecting door in our room had about a 1/3-1/2 inch gap so we could hear full conversations our noisy neighbors were having. The beds were very hard, almost table like and the pillows were very flat and small. There was hardly any water pressure nor hot water. The staff when we first arrived were not friendly and dismissive, which was the common occurrence throughout our whole stay in the evening and late morning. The woman working the early morning shift today, 4/16/24, was very friendly, receptive, and should absolutely be working in a luxury hotel. Given the price and the experience we had, we will not be returning. With all this being said, I would not classify this as a luxury or boutique hotel.

Should have been warned that the roof top bar would be closed all weekend. My rate should have reflected that.

The location was perfect with an amazing view of the canal. The room was very big and clean with nice amenities. Unfortunately the information given by the receptionists was not always accurate.

We had a great time staying at Hotel Zamora. For the most part the Staff was awesome, especially the valet drivers. The only issue we had was getting enough towels for our family to shower. We had several requests for more towels never show up. Very small issue compared to all the nice amenities throughout the hotel. Air purifiers in the rooms, infused water throughout the hotel, heated pool and hot tub, rooftop for viewing sunsets, several bars if you want to drink, and many more. We weren’t “on” the beach, but it was just a walk across the street where there were chairs and umbrellas for guests to use that were usually enough for us to get some. The beach was great with soft white sand and much less crowded then other areas up and down the beach from us. Overall a great place for families as well as just adults.

The room smells like somebody smoked in it. The couch looks like a dog chewed on it. The phone does not work for room service and valet, and the TV does not work no service on the television they cannot fix it. I would like a full refund.

This was the second time staying at The Hotel Zamora. It’s in a perfect location. Walking trails, Restaurants, beach across the street with chairs & umbrellas provided along with kayaks, paddle boards and bikes. Close to Johns Pass and Pass a Grille. Staff is very helpful and professional, plan to stay again next year!

Great location, but property felt worn. Bed was not comfortable and the couch in our room had a big rip in it. Service at the rooftop bar at sunset was horrible, with only one guy working the bar that wasn’t fully stocked.

This was our 4th stay at Zamora. From the rooms, to the staff, the views, pool, rooftop bar, restaurant, it's always a pleasure to stay there.

I love this hotel for the location, friendly staff, quiet pool/hot tub area, paddle boards, bikes, morning coffee, afternoon champagne.
What I would like to see change… Smart TV’s and shutters for the bathrooms allowing for privacy while showering. At the very least a shower curtain.

The hotel Zamora was very clean, all the staff members I encountered were very helpful and kind. The food at the restaurant was 10/10, I would definitely visit again

My stay was Nice …the beds were very comfortable & never heard noise from neighboring guests Their was a wedding reception the first night I arrived you never knew it The valets were very helpful with surrounding area places to visit The only down side was the roof top area was nice but that fake grass everywhere looks tacky It does not match the meditarian style/vibe of the rest of the hotel
