It was great

Wonderful. Attentive staff on-site, large rooms, very comfortable, safe, and quiet.

We rolled up in the off season and the staff was attentive and kind. We especially connected with Adele at the front desk who gave us great recommendations and went above and beyond to be friendly
Our rooms were clean and well appointed. The soap dispensers are on the wall rather than more plastic bottles so that is a plus. Comfy beds and a great breakfast!

Brandin Iron was an older style motel, but very friendly and very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and the delicious breakfast.

Adequate for passing through.

Our hotel room was spacious and clean, including the carpet (in #303). The mattresses & pillows were very comfortable. The counter & storage space in the bath area were ample. The soap, lotion, shampoo, conditioner & body wash dispensers located in appropriate places were convenient. When I made our reservation (the night before we arrived), I requested a lower level room, and they were able to do that for us. I was greeted with a friendly face when I checked in. The hotel was quiet both nights we were there. The breakfast (6:00-9:30) had a great variety of hot items (eggs, fried potatoes, sausage, bagles, toast), and cold items (cereal & fruit). The only negative comment I would have is regarding the lady who was in charge of the breakfast; she seemed slow to refill foods that were running low, and this morning there were no forks provided to eat with, only knives and spoons. Also, this morning by 8:00, several of the table's napkin boxes were empty, and were not refilled by the lady who was standing watching people fill plates.

Great location near entrance of Yellowstone National Park West. Town was bustling with activities! Breakfast was great! No elevators and had to carry suitcases up stairs.

It was clean and warm. Mattresses were a little more firm than I prefer but they were still in very good condition. Very close to everything downtown West Yellowstone.

This hotel is old and needs to be completed updated. It is very dingy and very noise. We were on the first floor and the people in the room above us were noise and the floor creaked. The breakfast was not good.

We were heading into Yellowstone NP and this motel was blocks from the entrance, so very convenient. This is an older motel, no elevator to the second floor, the room was a bit outdated. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Would recommend if you are planning a trip into Yellowstone!

The property is old and needs attention. Over priced for the low quality.

The Brandin' Iron was a wonderful place to stay as our base for exploring YNP. Just minutes from the entrance with some lovely walking trails as well as the charming town itself, it was a wonderful stay! A delicious hot breakfast with many choices each morning was much appreciated. The location can't be beat. The staff were kind, friendly and accommodating. The bed was comfortable and the room clean and tidy. We appreciated the fridge and the extra storage space as our stay was 5 nights and was able to have extra food for snacks and picnic lunches in the park. The only thing missing was a microwave in the room, but was advised that the breakfast room was open for using the microwave and table space. Thank you, Brandin Iron for a great stay! We hope to be back one day as we fell in love with West Yellowstone!

Recognizing that it is in a tourist town, it was too pricey for the quality.

It was old. Floors creaked. The maid did come around and asked if we needed clean towels which was nice. Our sink was very slow draining so we called the front desk. They did try to fix it. It only drained somewhat faster. The fan in the bathroom was noisy and you could hear everyone else’s fan around you. It was clean but I wouldn’t stay here again. Pay for what you get. Yellowstone is expensive this time of year.

Very nice basic room. Beds comfy and pillows fluffy! The front staff was excellent, Ryan was an absolute sweetheart. He was knowledgeable and gave us excellent dining suggestions. The toilet was very low to the ground and the tub very small. The shampoo dispenser had the same body wash in it as the body wash dispenser. TV was great! Fridge nice. Mostly quiet. Laundry was clean and reasonably priced!

Was a nice comfortable stay.

I know that you generally pay a premium for desirable areas/dates but this seemed excessive. The room was a very plain and dated 2 Queen bed with a fridge that didn’t get cold and had no microwave. Beds were pretty hard and I could feel the springs. The breakfast in the morning was not up to expectations either. Watery, rubbery instant eggs, pale, frozen potato cubes, cereal, dry bread for toast, and gluey gravy for gummy biscuits.
Overall, a place to crash for the night but not a whole lot more than that. The location was the best thing since it’s mere seconds to the West Gate of Yellowstone.

The room was nice. We had 2 queens and one of them was in a little alcove which was perfect for my adult daughter traveling with us. Breakfast was standard but only a few tables. We had to wait a few minutes for a table to open up. There was a sign on the door that said "no to go" so you have to eat there! It was very convenient (5 minutes) to the West entrance of Yellowstone.

Great, friendly staff.

I stayed there for a night
Good enough to sleep and rest for a night or 2
I liked that they provided breakfast.
However there was no water cooler or fountain in the facility.
I think some things are basic. Water being one of them.
The lady at the reception sold a bottle for a dollar (kind of a side hustle for her since she carried bottles of water in her car)

It's on main road and next to gas station.

The only thing I don’t like is the bad smell of the Room. I think it comes from the carpet.
