Check in was fast and staff was friendly. They do not have electronic key cards, just old fashioned keys but no paddle making it very easy to lose and they charge you $10 if you lose it or don't turn it in. I generally don't care for outside entry motels but this had an automatic locking door knob, a deadbolt, and a chain so I felt perfectly safe. Room was large and clean. I used the TV the refrigerator and a hair dryer it all worked without issue. TV was tiny. The towels were tiny and paper thin. They have something restricting the shower selector from going all the way left toward the hot, so the water only got lukewarm. I hoped I could get through a whole shower with lukewarm water but it turned cold very quickly. Didn't bother showering the second day just waited till I got home. I usually stay in Queensbury when I come to this area. I was in town for a funeral and this was closer to family. However, after the stay here I wish I had stayed in Queensbury. The rooms there are much nicer with interior entry and it would have cost less.

Motel was a nice, basic, no frills place to stay. A bit outdated, but clean, nuve room service lady! She was super kind 😀 It was cool when I checked in amd she handed me an actual "key" and not a "key card" - I was like, "wow, I haven’t seen a real key in a long time"

Great family friendly spot , large grass area and park in the back :) hotel was quiet not too many guest in October / rooms are not sound proof at all , could be really annoying if people were in the room next door … staff were super pleasant and helpful ( although clearly not enough of them .. couldn’t keep up , no matter how hard they tried … they got yelled and and people were being super rude … poor girls …

Reserved for 4 but in the end we were 3. Mentioned to motel as was $10 extra free for 4th person. They still charged it. They said to take it up with third party that reserved. Third party has no real contact info and their chatbot send message back to motel. Breakfast was mostly prepackaged and not enough seats in the place. Rooms need to be renovated and mattresses need to be changed with new.

An old motel but basic needs were met. It just needs some new sheets, new towels, some exterior painting, maybe a face lift. If you want a spiffy new hotel, this not it. If you just want a place to lay your head down for a night or two, this will do you just fine.

It was a good place to stay. A little dated. carpet was falling off the side of one wall and we found hairs in the bathtub. Bed was very comfy. Would have liked non feather pillows. Staff was very friendly.

They were nice at the desk, but this was less than the 3-star hotel/motel that we were expecting. The hot water didn't work all the time, towel was dirty and it smelled very heavy of cigarette smoke despite it being a no smoking room. There were comparable places to this at lower price points. That being said, the expectations going in were low, and it is a motel, so I should have expected as much.

I love the simplicity of parking at your room door and the 70s vibe of the hotel. You can tell the upkeep has taken place, just a vintage feel. The only negative is the the breakfast, mainly prepacked bakery. Very friendly staff, good Wifi, bedding and TV All in all, a good night's stay. 2 thumbs up.

I like the motels/ hotels older style. You park your vehicle right outside your door. Everything is easy walking and convenient. The room was clean, the bed comfortable and 2 chairs outside the door for outdoor seating- all pluses for us. The only complaint was spotty Wi-Fi. When we are in the area again, we’ll definitely stay at the Landmark.

The room was dated but scrupulously clean. The furniture was older but in excellent shape and comfortable. It had all the required facilities, mini-fridge, coffee make, TV. The breakfast served was various danish, juices, cold cereals, fresh doughnuts, a toaster and microwave. Nothing lavish but plenty. If your looking for a nice, comfortable and inexpensive stay at a clean facility, this is the place.

We were going to the racetrack for one day and needed a place to stay overnight. The price was right for the motel. It was easy to find and parking was right in front of our room. We were able to check in a bit earlier which was great. We had an issue with the air conditioner not working and the 2 women at the front desk couldn’t have been nicer. They found us a different room which was just a few down from our original room. The rooms were nice. We sat outside at night and noticed that other groups did that as well.

OK but dated property. Air conditioning unit leaked onto floor that required placing towels underneath the unit. During my 5 night stay the sheets were never changed which is a too long especially given the hot July weather if you get my point.
