Very small room, no water available and all very inconvenient. The in is okay but far from what we expected, unfortunately. Staff service was ok, getring a normal coffee not possible and the breakfast ok. Giving all clients a one hour slot for breakfast is really weird. In a nutshell, i would rate this place average, at most.

And the freshly bak d muffins are to die for.
Our second stay there when visiting Victoria.
Just love it!
Thank you Dar……😊

Marketa’s was a wonderful BnB for our stay in Victoria. Ideal location that allowed us to walk around Downtown Victoria. Staff were incredibly accommodating and the breakfast was delicious. We definitely hope to stay there again!

Had a lovely visit to Marketa’s B&B. We are are lovers of older houses and this house was beautiful with wood panelling in the hallway and old fireplaces etc. The breakfast was very varied and tasty!

Top notch B&B! We hope to return and stay at Marketa's again. Convenient, well kept, clean and with a very friendly, helpful staff.

The enthusiastic staff went above and beyond the evening we arrived to make sure we felt comfortable and the included breakfast options were delicious! I found the bed quite comfortable. The sitting room is so cute and the communal fridge and option to cook for ourselves was also very much appreciated. A true b&b.

Need to put window screens on windows so guests can open the bedroom windows to get fresh air while they sleep and are in their rooms.

Exterior photo needs to be updated on expedia. Would have been nice to have a bike rack or storage in the back.

Great property right in the centre of Victoria, exactly where you’d want to be as a visitor. Everything is within walking distance of the house. The welcome was warm and friendly. The room was clean and very comfortable. The common living room had a TV and there were glasses for your own drinks.
Breakfast from 08:30 to 09:30 can be outside on the patio or inside and was very good with muffins to start and then a choice of eggs, pancakes, bagel or cereals, all with some fresh fruit, tea & coffee.
No tea or coffee making facilities in your room but a large communal kitchen downstairs allows you to make coffe and hot drinks.
There was parking at the rear of the property but not guaranteed, but we had a space all weekend.
A wonderful place to stay if you are visiting Victoria and surrounding areas and want a nice, comfy, cosy and unique experience.

Very charming.

Very limited onsite parking requiring many guests to park off site. Comfortable room- especially loved the clawfoot tub.

Room was clean and comfortable. Staff is very friendly. Parking was an issue because the city put in bike lanes that took away front curb parking.

This was fantastic! Such a neat house! And all the staff were super friendly and accomodating! The breakfast was absolutely delicious!!
We loved the location and our room! I had the most amazing bath in the clawfoit tub! Can't wait to stay here again!

The place is amazing, beautiful large home converted into an old school B&B. Loved my room! Had a wonderful bathtub in a cozy environment.
Only two comments I have are lack of breakfast options for early riser. Unfortunately I could not partake in the breakfast part of the Bed and Breakfast. I understand that it's easy and convenient to have a scheduled time for breakfast but it would've been nice to have an option to speak to someone about my schedule.
This is the second comment, I did not get any notice or email about my stay. I was slightly concerned that perhaps the reservation did not go through. Upon arriving there was a letter with my name on it with house rules and a key. While I understand people have their schedules, I never once interacted with a person. In the age of Airbnb a unique service suck as this should prioritize their clients a little more. I specifically chose this option vs. Airbnb because I've grown tired of the soulless micro-units with zero connection to staff or other humans.
This is a great B&B so please keep the spirit alive

We had a lovely stay here, the staff were so kinda. The area is very walkable and we felt safe.

The B&B was so beautiful with so many beautiful details throughout the place. Breakfast was delicious and more than we were expecting from a B&B. The cheese sauce on the eggs benedict was a favorite! We were within walking distance to the inner harbor and Beacon Beach. So, we had fun walking to many of the places we went to. Great advice on where to go for dinner that we thoroughly enjoyed! Great trip!

Loved the place. Quaint quiet location but only a few blocks from the harbour and Fisherman’s Wharf. Only downside was the rooms are what you would expect from a 100 yr old home…not a lot of space to move around. But if you like old English historic homes, you’ll love it. Breakfast was great albeit with 4 choices. Not a big eggs Benedict guy and that got me to three. But they did a bagged breakfast for us on the last day. Really tried to do everything for you. Thanks to you and your staff Marketa!

Great breakfasts, easy access to most places especially if you are a walker. When weather permits a great back yard patio and some parking.

Great stay for our quick visit to Victoria—awesome location, staff, and breakfasts:)

Met at the door by our host who was very accommodating and welcoming. We got a tour of the space. Parking is a very small space behind the building on the property. Street parking is very limited due to the new bike lane in front of the BnB.
