The Knickerbocker was a great choice for us. The staff were all wonderful. Luz at reception went above and beyond for our stay.
1.0 / 5.0
The hotel is very well located and quiet even though it is in Times Square. We were attended by Betty who was very polite and efficient. She really is a level above what the hotel offers. The hotel does not represent the One of the Leading Hotel brand. Old robes. Empty minibar. There is no coffee machine. Disappointing. It is not a 5-star hotel. The breakfast does not have a hint of charm. The porters are unhelpful, insolent, and not cordial. The gym is located in a less prestigious location and is accessed through a service corridor. I do not recommend the hotel.

We really enjoyed our time at The Knickerbocker Hotel. The front desk, concierge staff and housekeeping personnel were all very competent and helpful. The hotel is near Times square so it's convenient while not being directly in the traffic zone. Highly recommend!

Wonderful hotel and location. If we go back we will definitely stay there again. Times Square is amazing!

Hotel is in great shape. Rooms are nice, large and comfortable. Only thing to keep in mind is that by being so close to Times Square, you'll likely hear a lot of street noise until fairly late at night.

This was an amazing hotel with spacious rooms, great linens, wonderful service, cool lounge and rooftop bar! However, I would not stay here again. The accessibility to Times square, 5th ave shopping, Broadway theaters, restaurants, Radio City Music Hall, Rockefeller Center, and subway stops were all within walking distance. But because it was so close to Times Square the hotel was VERY NOISY!! Think street drummers until 11/12 every night, drag racing/loud motors in the middle of the night, sirens, etc. This was next level city noise and kept me up on the weekend nights. If you're going during the week, you should be good, but bring earplugs if you're staying over a weekend.

The Knickerbocker Hotel was great! The staff was friendly and helpful, the location was amazing (short walking distance to Bryant Park, Broadway & Tome Square!), rooms were very nice and quiet and the rooftop bar was amazing.

The lady at the concierge was very accommodating and helpful. Very cheerful. All the staff was very kind. I thought the room was a bit lackluster. It was clean and huge shower, however My view was at a brick wall! It is pricey however the location and everything else I think balances it out.

Great hotel right in the center of things.
Our room over looked Time Square!

We loved the rooftop bar with the planted live wall, friendly service and great views. Our room was super cozy and the turndown service was a nice touch. I wish someone had mentioned at checkin that if we parked our vehicle at the recommended garage we needed to have our valet ticket validated and would have received 50% off the parking fee. $$ Convenient location and safe.

My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay. There’s a parking area nearby (paid parking that is), it’s NYC so it’s not that new to us anymore but the hotel’s great. I was glad that the exhaust to the bathroom is working really good so you don’t have to worry about moist in the room. I’ve been to other hotels that has poor exhaust condition despite them advertising it as 4 star hotels. There was a problem with the elevator during our stay but my husband and I together with other guests were able to be assisted at the other elevator I guess only intended for their staff but over all this hotel is Amazing. We will surely come back. Thank you, The Knickerbocker Hotel.

It’s a modern hotel with clean facilities, and the rooms are fairly spacious. Since it’s located in the city center, you can walk to most places. It’s a 10-minute walk to Central Park and 15 minutes to the Broadway Theater District, all easily accessible on foot.

Good location close to Times Square, Broadway, and dining options. Decent, for Manhattan, size room. Expensive parking nearby but that’s New York.

Right in Times Square, yet quiet, spacious newly renovated rooms. Great location.

I looked at many hotels that i was familiar with and wanted to stay somewhere different. I googled all the hotels in the area, close to the theater district and came across the Kickerbocker. The reviews were great and it did not disappoint.
We ate at the restaurant there and our waiter Jason was great. Surprised me with birthday
cake.
Will certainly go back.

Beautiful design, but noisy, claustrophobic and poor service. I would say it’s more like a 3 star hotel.

One of the best hotels in Manhattan- close to everything- safe quiet place. Rooms are very nice.

This is my third time staying at this hotel to attend Broadway plays. I cannot say enough good things about this hotel for play watchers. Location, location, location. I previously traveled as a couple but my partner died. Three years later, traveling as a single 65 year old women I was very well taken care of throughout my stay. Having VIP access, I was provided an upgrade upon checkin and two free drink coupons for the roof top bar. I checked in at 4 pm, had two drinks at the lovely roof top bar and easily walked 10 minutes by myself to the play and to nearby Chez Josephine for dinner afterwards. Though by myself, I never felt alone. Service was outstanding

Good location.

I was allocated a terrible room right next to the lift and when I asked to be moved I was moved to a room with a noisy aircon unit. This seemed intentional. I thought this was poor service. Not staying here again.

We had a lovely stay at the hotel. It’s close to pretty much everything. With on walking distance to lots of great spots.
The rooms are nice and comfortable, the bathroom is really big.
Lots of door men that some are lovely. Although would be more helpful if they were on both doors. Rather than the internal one. The colleagues are helpful without being intrusive.

The Knickerbocker is a really cool building right in Times Square. Upon checking in, they first sent us to a room the was open and unclean. The did find us another room after about 20 min waiting and it was a nice room. Very stylish design and comfortable bed and pillows. Decent space for a NYC hotel. The next day it took forever to get our car due to a festival in the street and then an hour to get to the FDR. That’s pretty expected in NY. I would definitely train in next time. I would stay here again.

Great place to stay. Only recommendation is to stay on the higher floors it’s way too loud with the Times Square noise on the lower floors you hear it from the room.
