We had a great stay here! Price was right and the location was good too. Many excursion trips pick up right outside of this hotel so this is very convenient! Highly recommend!

We stayed for 3 nights and the room was comfortable, spacious and ideal for what we needed. It’s a small hotel too so was quiet. Staff were very helpful, even checked us in early as room was ready. Can also leave luggage of arriving early or need somewhere to store it after checkout. Location was 5 mins or so from Central station and Haymarket light rail is even closer. No catering available but so many places around the immediate area you don’t need it and it’s a short walk or tram ride to other places too. So don’t let that put you off.

Small hotel in Haymarket-Chinatown. Couple who ran it were very nice and accommodating. Only hotel on trip that made a genuine effort to refrain from scented products. Woman was very good at assisting with directions on transit. Room was very clean. Nice tile in bathroom shower. Air conditioning in excellent order. Cool and quiet. Refrigerator was good. Lots of amenities to make your stay comfortable. Furniture is a bit dated but bed was comfortable. Nice towels.

Stayed the night to see Cold Chisel concert. Place was clean and comfortable, bed was extremely comfortable and pillows were amazing. Hotel was close to train station and light rail, it was in the heart of the city. Very pleased with our stay and would definitely stay again.

This is the second time that my husband and I have stayed at Valentine's hotel and we loved it the rooms are lovely with very comfy bed it's very close to transport and local pubs and restaurants and the staff are very friendly so it's just perfect for us👍😁

Property was hard to find down an alleyway, common areas were bleak and un-inviting, staff had poor English and After a long day of travel the room I was given had a broken power card slot no power did not work- only saving grace was that after asking for a different room I was given a bigger nicer one Also was disappointed that no room service facilities and mini bar consisted of a few stale cookies- not even complimentary bottled water that most other establishments offer

The location is great, just 2 minutes away from Chinatown and all the great restaurants. The light rail and central train stations are within a 5-minute walk. The place is nice and tidy with a secured reception area (you can only access it with a swipe card). It has everything you need for a short break, the bonus is the shower pressure is great! The only thing is that they don't have other mirrors except in the bathroom, and the lighting is not great.
