We stayed in cabin 17. it was cute and in a great spot within the bush camp grounds. loved the wildlife all around, the creek running through and waking to the sounds of birds each morning.
the lady at the reception was very friendly and helpful.
would recommend this place as a great rustic camp ground (even though we stayed in the cabins).
nice and close to Husskinson.

Its a great place for camping. lots of trees and bird life and on the river. saw a possum going qbout its business, it looked really healthy. i always get the cabin for the family but the the eldest at 7/8 is contemplating real tent camping after witnessing other kids camping and seeing how it works. kids still loving the chickens, peacocks and natural bird life like honey eaters, lorikeets, blue jays etc. and the natural settings. its a nature setting not far from town, only 5mins drive. not far from the big smoke either.
the kids were excited in trying the fresh laid free range eggs from annie the hen, we had 4 from the grocers but we got two more from the camp store.
there are bbqs with the cabins, great for cooking without a big mess or clean up. all the modern conveniences and of course last minute marshmallows from the camp store for the kids. kids wanted to stay longer.

Booked at last minute. This place is so beautiful, nestled among beautiful trees/Forrest, with a river running past. The cabin was nice and clean and all amenities worked. The owners of the park were very lovely and accomodating. We stayed in a cabin which don’t have fire pits but we were allowed to utilise a vacant campsite to have a fire. There is a small amount of groceries available at the kiosk Inc bags of firewood and marshmallows and drinks. The is also a fair array of birds that come visit.

The grounds and feel of the property are so unique and homey - it has a very relaxed and friendly feel.
The property itself is beautiful, you are nestled amongst the trees and back onto a beautiful river - and not too far from town which is a bonus.
Will definitely be back!

trcey at the front desk was great. kids lived the campfire we made. we had a cabin but was able to find afree campfire.pit by the river. cabin was nice and clean, we had the family seclusion cabin an awesome cabin surround by nature. kids loved exploring the campgrounds finding peacocks and hens, chickens and roos and fishung by the river. top spot. glad i discovered it because my usual goto camprground was booked out. my kids loved it, hearing geckos and frogs etc. there are about 30 cabins and heaps of camp sites. if you stay here spend somw money on the fire wood and maeshmellos and baits they sell. amenities around the campgriund are abundant, sinks with taps and kitchens and laundry etc. i will return, my wife loved being back in her kid years and my 4 and 6 yr old loved it!! :)

Tried calling before arrival but only answer machine on landline. Having a mobile number would be good on the website or welcome email. Lovely staff. Had a couple of housekeeping things which were sorted immediately. Lots of bird noise which we loved. Bring ear plugs in case.
